IF the reports are true that two individual drivers in a 'Target' parking lot were vying for the same space and BOTH acted aggressively.
AND THEN the male driver got out of his car and POURED AN UNKNOWN LIQUID upon the female's car and then POURED THE LIQUID UPON HER - after she warned him to not 'assault her' as such (and I am only using GENDER for descriptive purposes)
THEN YES!!! In the context of DEFENDING HERSELF - her choice to shoot him after this due warning and subsequent assault IS JUSTIFIED.
- If he were running away when he was shot - I would change my mind
- If she went and got her gun after being splashed - this would be another point of consideration
BUT IF YOU CHOOSE TO POUR A LIQUID ON SOMEONE WHO IS HOLDING A GUN (and NOT amplifying the situation) THEN THIS IS A JUSTIFIED DEFENSE.
BOTH of these two had the duty to deescalate the situation.
BUT WHEN YOU DO AN AGGRESSIVE ACT - do not get surprised about the come back.
I am glad that this was just a shoulder wound and not a deadly shot.
