|THE PREQUAL TO THE STORY||THE FIRST GENERATION OF "PUBLIC HOUSING" AKA "THE PROJECTS" WERE ATTRACTIVE ENVIRONMENTS.
They were originally constructed for:
NOTE: I believe it was an episode of "American Experience" that gave the narrative that I have noted above. Once I find this video I will post it
|HOW 'SOCIAL JUSTICE ADVOCACY' DESTROYED THE COMMONWEALTH CULTURE WITHIN THE PROJECTS||These very same RULES that kept order and standards in these cramped quarters of "The Project" were soon labeled as:
Once SOCIAL JUSTICE ACTIVISTS set their sights on POLITICAL POWER.
The Rise Of The "Tenants Associations" As The Grassroots HARVESTING SCHEME Of "Black Community Valuables Into Local Politics
I presently live in a subdivision and we have a "Homeowners Association".
I only fear a "letter from the IRS" more than a letter from our HOA.
While the IRS is typically telling me about an error in my taxes and that I owe more money, the HOA is both telling me to fix something (Put more pinebark around my tree, paint my mailbox) OR ELSE they are going to do it for me and put a lien on my house to get their money back.
Though I hate the "Snitch" who walks around doing code enforcement, I accept that it is a necessary evil BECAUSE MY HOME VALUE has fully recovered (and then some, from the 2008 housing crisis. ISN'T THIS 'BLACK INTERGENERATIONAL WEALTH MANAGEMENT?)
Even still we have a yearly kickoff meeting to elect officers and develop an agenda for the year. Anyone making the case that the code enforcement is too harsh can grab a consensus.
COMPARE THIS TO THE "TENANTS ASSOCIATION" in the classical projects during the 1970's.
Their primary role was to:
- Demand better maintenance and security from their landlord (the Federal Government or local housing authority)
- Fight to remove 'Discriminatory Code Enforcement'
In summary THE ENEMY was "The Landlord" - The Unfair Government Policies.
My "Enemy" in the context of my Homeowners Assocation is any neighbor who IS GOING TO BRING DOWN MY PROPERTY VALUES and thus the amount of WEALTH I TRANSFER TO MY 3 BLACK CHILDREN.
LET'S MOVE PAST YOUR 'OPINIONS' AND THE POPULARITY THERE IN - CAN YOU CLAIM THAT YOUR VIEWS, DESPITE THEIR POPULARITY BROUGHT "SUCCESS AND DEVELOPMENT" TO THE VULNERABLE MASSES IN CHICAGO?
What is YOUR mechanism to check what has been ENGINEERED to be POPULAR SENTIMENT among the "Containerized Black Community" so that GOOD GOVERNANCE can fill this void?
THE CITY OF LAGRANGE GEORGIA
My first impressions of "Lagrange Georgia", having been there 3 times:
- A POOR CITY ALONG THE WAY TO ALABAMA
- WHITE AND BLACK POVERTY SHOPS TOGETHER AT THE WALMART
- (I recall) A White Woman Who Was Sleeping In Her Car In The Wal-Mart Parking Lot, Begging For Money To Get Home To Indiana (IIRC)
- I Went To The KFC To Buy Lunch On My Way To A Client Call In Montgomery. "The Crew" Had A "Hip Hop Dance Party" Going On With A Radio Blasting Inside Of The Restaurant.
- INSTEAD OF ME WALKING OUT, Saying "I Will Never Come Here Again' - I KNEW That If The OWNER Of The Business Saw What Was Going On He Would Fire All Of The Employees
- I DECIDED TO VOICE MY EXPECTATIONS TO THE CASHIER (A Early 20 Year Old Black Male)
- He Complied By Turning The Music Down And Then Walked To The Back Beyond My View.
- Then A 'BONE THUGS IN HARMONY" Looking Black Male Came From The Back To "Grit On Me", To See WHO Had The Complaint
In short Lagrange is an ISOLATED ECONOMY.
Close enough for a person to drive to Atlanta for work or fun, but only the Hyundai Manufacturing Plant provides the spark for the local economy and mass employment.
THE CITY OF LAGRANGE - PROVIDER OF WATER, ELECTRICITY AND CRIMINAL JUSTICE
The Civil Rights Lawsuit: "The NAACP", "Project South" and "Southern Poverty" allege that the practice of the "City Of Lagrange" tying OUTSTANDING LEGAL FEES to CITY UTILITY BILLS creates conditions of RACIALLY DISCRIMINATORY ACCESS TO UTILITY SERVICES for BLACK RESIDENTS.
(Hello - the seed planted in Ferguson)
I can take this debate several ways.
I just finished listening to a Yvette Carnell rant in which she argued against that 'THE GOVERNMENT' (and so called "Black Politics") should be at the center of our lives.
So the question is: Should ONE ENTITY who is your electrical/water services provider be allowed to hold these services over your head so that you might pay the COURT FEES that you have thus far refused to pay?
The PROPAGANDA element is that they need to show "MALICIOUS RACIAL INTENT" to target and deny Black people (the "Justice Thurgood Marshall Social Justice Scheme" - by which THE SYSTEM is made into the CRIMINAL and the defendant is made into THE VICTIM and released, with possibly a settlement from THE SYSTEM)
Again - we have the claim that certain cities base their operating budgets based upon FINES and FEES - a hidden tax upon the poor, with the police as "Tax Collectors".
OK REMOVE the "Police Tax Collectors" - WHERE ARE YOU GOING TO GET THE TAX REVENUES to run the government? THE VERY SAME LOCAL GOVERNMENT, which has a GEORGIA STATE CHARTER because the "City Founders" argued that they could provide for a higher QUALITY OF LIFE for its citizens than their present (at the time) UNINCORPORATED STATE, that relieved on COUNTY SERVICES.
So I ask the same question that I asked about 15 years ago when this blog was started.
IF "INCORPORATION INTO A MUNICIPALITY" requires SOLVENCY in order to provide for the desired quality of life....................
WHAT IS THE PROCESS FOR "DIS-INCORPORATION" as the LOCAL POLITICIANS are transformed into ACTIVISTS AGAINST THE STATE - demanding MORE MONEY for the services that the CITY CHARTER created the local franchise for the provision of these State Constitutional Services - IF the state allowed the new city to RAISE REVENUES THROUGH TAXES AND FEES?
From Detroit to Atlanta - the massive ACCOUNTS RECEIVABLE balance for "City Water" has negatively impacted the ability of the water department itself to continue efficient operations and make the necessary capital investments. When "KIND HEARTED PROGRESSIVE POLITICIANS" choose to relax these AR balances - the aging effect merely increasing the unlikelihood that these debts will ever be collected.
DO NOT ALLOW THE NAACP AND PROJECT SOUTH to proclaim that they are THE GOOD GUY'S, defending the VICTIMS.
FORCE THEM TO ANSWER THE CHALLENGE:
AFTER MOUNTING UNPAID COURT FEES AND UTILITY BILLS PRODUCE NEGATIVE IMPACT BOTH ON THE 'CITY BALANCE SHEET' AND THE LAW AND ORDER IN THE COMMUNITY - WHEN WILL SOMEONE HOLD YOU ACCOUNTABLE FOR THE DAMNING AGGREGATE RESULTS?
