I Would Honestly Sponsor A Few Of These People For A Bus Trip To Washington DC To See The Monuments To "Dr King" And "Rosa Parks" - For Nothing Else Than To Allow Them To Think About Their Purpose In Life

I am not sure what some of you all VALUE.

If you think that 'WE' are getting out of this situation "on the sly" (that you are presently running) - you are going to be sadly disappointed.

WHO IS WE?

  • We Family Members (of the people in the video)
  • We Community Members
  • We Fellow Citizens Of The City/State
  • We Blacks
    We Americans
  • We Human Beings

I am NOT seeking to "boil the ocean" by making this list.
In fact my argument is nearly reverse of those who seek to "Nationalize" the problems that they see up close in personal

MY VIEW is that "FOOLISHNESS" needs to be:
  • Nipped in the bud when it is seen
  • Prevented by engaging a young person into a structure
  • Shown the "Opportunity Costs" TO the people who tolerate it
  • Inculcated so that it is not allowed to be transmitted to another generation via the culture

IS IT MY AGENDA TO SLANDER DR KING AND ROSA PARKS?

NO.
I just REFUSE to practice "Idol Worship", on the notion that VENERATION and VICARIOUS LIVING can ever replace MANAGEMENT.

Last night I listened to a special about the "Montgomery Bus Boycott" on WRFG ("The Progressive Information Station").   That story captured the rage that was felt by Black people as the White bus drivers taunted them and degraded them every chance that they could.

FOR ME - THIS IS NOT MY REALITY.
YOU can try to connect to your ANCESTORS' PAIN.  I will on stop you.

I AM COMMITTED to make sure that those who see US LIVING TODAY as THEIR ANCESTORS some time in the future will have a more healthy body of memories to work with.

I REJECT the notion that "Black people are beaten down with negative news - WE NEED SOME POSITIVE UPLIFTING STORIES. "

Rest a sure that many of the people who practice this meme also have no intention of protecting the BLACK COMMUNITY'S INTERESTS from the NEW BLACK (Progressive) establishment that they see as LIVING HISTORICAL FIGURES -- even if their placement in the establishment and the INSTITUTIONS and how THE BLACK COMMUNITY RELATES TO THEM is part of the problem.
