I wonder sometimes if the people who I am most likely to debate against actually READ the arguments that are presented to them.
The majority of the arguments directed toward "Black Progressive Fundamentalists", from the voices of "The Black Media" have the intention of AFFIRMING the "present prevailing Black consciousness", NOT to challenge it as they seek to correct the actual results that are being delivered within the Black community.
|A Late Breaking "Clue" That I Just Got.
The view of "Prof Overton" caused me to think about "BlackProf.com".
After I thought about "BlackProf.com" I got the "clue" that Prof Sherrily A. Ifill is one of the "BlackProf's" that participated in the ill-fated blog site.
So let's do the "6 Degrees Of Separation" to understand the "WE Are In The White House" crowd of "Black Progressive Public Intellectuals Of The Academy"
(I still don't see the pattern yet. :-/ :-/ :-/ )
I am not "tracking" these people.
I am just more OBSERVANT than the average person, who merely CONSUMES what they are being fed.
I am forced to attribute this to the fact that the average American, regardless of their race, thinks TRANSACTIONALLY, thus missing the gravity of the arguments, with respect to the proper historical context.
|The Historical Figure In "The Struggle"||
Fannie Lou Hamer
Prof Sherrily A. Ifill
That disenfranchised Black people in 1960's Mississippi deserved to have the right to vote in order to appoint the political representation that is needed to promote public policy that will provide the foundation for them to improve their lives.
|That Progressive (Fundamentalist) Public Policy must be nationalized in order for the local "progressive public policy" that Black people have already errected into place can actually work to improve the lives of Black people and other 'The Least Of These' people.|
The White Racist Democratic Party Of Mississippi And The South
|The White Racist Republican Party Around The Nation|
|Her Disposition With This Antagonist||Ms Hamer realized that the Democratic Party was the monopoly party in the South.
She drove from Mississippi to Atlantic City New Jersey, the site of the "Democratic National Convention" in 1964 to demand a SEAT AS A DELEGATE in a DEN OF RACISTS that were convening.
Though there were an abundance of INSULTING WORDS AND ACTIONS thrown toward Ms. Hamer - she KEPT HER EYE ON THE PRIZE.
She had a PURPOSE, knowing that the representation of Black people was larger than her own ego and as a result, instead of being OFFENDED BY THE INSULTS THROUGH HER WAY, she stood steadfast, demanding that the Democratic Party seat her as a delegate from Mississippi because she had a petition of hundreds of names from AMERICAN CITIZENS from Mississippi that affirmed her as a legitimate representative of their POLITICAL CAUSE.
CONSTRUCTIVE FEEDBACK UNIVERSITY ANALYSIS:
"The Blacks" during the days of Fannie Lou Hamer HAD NO "Political Party Home" (In The South Note - While Blacks were "Republicans" for a time - this represented VOTING PATTERNS and not "PARTY MEMBERSHIP" in all of the rungs of the Party).
As a result Ms Hamer was forced to tuck her pride and demand MEMBERSHIP AND OFFICIAL RECOGNITION inside the DEN OF BIGOTS.
Ironically - since "The PARTIES" are a "hijacked overlay" upon the GOVERNMENT of the United States of America - the "All White Democratic Primary" was the case of the "hijacking Dung Producing Party Animals" (still alive today) that used their power as a quasi-government entity to deny Black people the right to vote. First in their "primary" and then in the "real" government election.
|Prof Ifill is OFFENDED that the lily White, conservative Republican Party of our time has been INSULTING the FIRST BLACK PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA.
Where as Ms Hamer was arguing for BASIC VOTING RIGHTS FOR BLACK PEOPLE - Prof Ifill argues that, in as much as BLACK PEOPLE LIVE VICARIOUSLY THROUGH THE FIRST BLACK PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES - when the (racist) Republicans are seen disrespecting their political enemy - they are actually DISRESPECTING ALL BLACK PEOPLE.
(Note: Any Black person who does not connect "Their Race" to the "Obama Experience" are the one's that are DISCONNECTED.)
The Republicans will have HELL TO PAY(!!!!) as the normal political "gun slinging" and backbiting takes on a RACIST dimension because the Republican Party has not seen fit to understand that "You Can't Hit A Black President With The Glass Lens Of Ebony Magazine and Essence" trained upon their White House experience. Any mark on their skin received from a political scuffle must be covered by the makeup that the photographer uses prior to the picture that will be cast for Black America to live vicariously through the Obama's gets delivered to them per their magazine subscription. Some choose an electronic edition on their iPad so that the cover photograph is not torn by an unsympathetic mail man.
CONSTRUCTIVE FEEDBACK UNIVERSITY ANALYSIS:
I DO NOT HAVE CONTEMPT FOR THESE MEN. I have the very same "respect" for them as I do for their "White Corporate Media Executive Counterparts" because they all have AFFIRMED THE 100% HUMAN EQUALITY OF BLACK PEOPLE.
Black people are EQUALLY given to be swayed by sustained media propaganda.
This Mastermind Group who are aware of how Black people think placed a bet that THE BLACK VOTE IS AN "EQUAL VOTE", once placed into the pile with other ballots.
In the balance between POWER WITHIN THE AMERICAN POLITICAL DOMAIN and "TEMPERANCE IN COMPROMISING THE BLACK/AFRICAN CONSCIOUSNESS" (Ie: Keeping it separate from politics lest usurpation comes to fruition) These men DID THE REVERSE.
They MADE "THE BLACK STRUGGLE" into a "DEMOCRATIC PARTY STRUGGLE".
They understood that this Quasi-Black Dignity is a set of rules HELD BY BLACK PEOPLE.
CONVINCE THE "HOLDER OF THE RULE BOOK' TO GO ALONG WITH YOUR SCHEME.........and at some point you can compel the people to argue that A NON-DEMOCRAT IS ANTI-BLACK!!!
(Again - Do you see why I have a more DISPASSIONATE relationship with American politics? Go look at the other 'Black Blogs' and how they are focused on "The Debate". I am WATCHING THEM and doing analysis ON THEM).
So let us contrast Fannie Lou Hamer's time versus our present.
In the past Black people needed A VOICE IN GOVERNMENT so that we were not continually rolled over.
TODAY - BLACK PEOPLE are HEARTY FIXTURES IN "THE ESTABLISHMENT".
The HOME for Black people is "The Democratic Party" - per the ESTABLISHMENT VOICES that control the MESSAGING into the Black Community.
Thus you see Prof Ifill telling her Black Progressive Friends:
You will NOT HEAR Prof Ifill or any of her cohorts on "The Root", "The Grio", "Black America Web", "AOL Blax", etc: argue:
WE ARE NO LONGER WILLING TO COMPROMISE OUR SELVES AS SUCH

ANALYSIS Of Prof Sherrilyn A Ifill's "Why Black Voters Reject Romney"
I am on record indicating that it is more important to analyze the "Prevailing Black Political Discourse" from a PSYCHOLOGICAL perspective rather than a POLITICAL perspective.
Such a change in view allows you to consider the writers "Unmet wants, needs and desires".
In the case of the latest treatise by "The Root.com" writer Prof Sherrilyn Ifill the most obvious "want" that she expresses is that of RESPECT.
Who can argue against a Black woman, per her voice on behalf of "Black People", wanting RESPECT?
The problem is that Prof Ifill's agenda is NOT a cut and dry search for "respect for Black people" and the enforcement as such against all who might "OFFEND us".
Prof Ifill's agenda is to record the long list of OFFENSES that the ideological and political enemies of Black Progressives have rendered and then use her various venues in which she is afforded access to her diverse progressive fundamentalist base to REMIND THEM of all of the OFFENSES that their common right-wing enemy has rendered, at their expense - and then wrap it all in an "Imitation Chocolate Coating" so that Black people who otherwise only consume "non-Conflict Coffee Beans" at Starbucks will be none the wiser of her scheme once they partake in her "semi-sweetened" chocolate treat that someone graciously gave to them for free, in the name of "Social Justice".
The truth is that Prof Ifill proves my claim that "Black People Are 100% Equal - Historians".
The key to the existence of Prof Ifill and other "Black Quasi-Socialist Progressive Fundamentalist Racism Chasers" is to control the narrative, using their expert knowledge of how Black people think - to bombard our sensibilities to the point where any "Negro" who thinks otherwise will be motivated to lift up his arm to make sure that he is not guilty of forgetting to apply anti-perspirant - based upon how those who are less wily in their understanding about what is really going on at their expense, as they comply with the mass Twitter feed that has gone around the room telling everyone to avoid talking to the "Negro Asking Questions" because he has B.O. that will be offensive to their olfactory sensibilities.
Prof Ifill doesn't have that problem. All of her letters are sprayed with the scent of "white chocolate", prior to her hitting the "publish" button on her computer.
