Here is a post from my friend Rippa's blog - "The Intersection Of Madness & Reality".
It seems to be a Re-Tweet of a post that was authored by a White male named Don Rice. Since Rippa posted it I without any rebuttal - I have to assume that Rippa agrees.
Mr Rice argues that much of the contention that is taking place in this nation under the guise of political/racial division has its roots in RELIGION and the related entrenchment that religion spawns.
He argues that the backlash against President Obama is an instance of this entrenched bigotry.
Mr Rice argues that education is the answer to cure this problem.
The article by Mr Rice is bleeding with a message that resides below the surface of his words.
When he talks about religion he is actually offering up "Secular Progressivism" as the elixir that will cure us all. The secular progressive fundamentalist sees religion as a threat in that it compels people to (blindly) follow an institution at a time when he wants the "Great Governor In The Sky" to be one's lord almighty.
The heartfelt, entrenched views of the religious person that Mr Rice sees as bigoted and against the flow of present societal trends would become more easily unhinged IF they could get organized religion subordinated to government. The "nationalized social justice" movement is a scheme that ultimately seeks to achieve the goals of resource distribution "equality" from society through the government, filling the void that Christian charity no longer fills.
The void in "distributive equality" comes from two points.
On the one hand the failure of the former strong networks of church based social services - (example - the collapse of the Catholic school system in Philadelphia or the previous founding of hospitals in the USA by churches to address the needs of underserved communities) - has created a void. If corporate backed initiatives don't find the venture fiscally viable then those who see the national government as a natural replacement for these services push through this channel. In their view the government has the power to make that which was otherwise fiscally unjustifiable into action because they can promote "social welfare" over finances through their power to tax and redistribute.
Secondly since church based services often come with preconditions on belief and behavior - those who have a "no-fault insurance" perspective on one's intrinsic rights to a defined standard of living seek to dismantle this implicit power of the church by using the government channel that is based upon POPULAR WILL rather than doctrine.
Dark Matter Analysis - Notice That Mr Rice Used The Backlash Against Obama As Proof Of Bigotry
For a progressive fundamentalist like Don Rice - the sight of President Obama, a Black man and PROGRESSIVE is the subject of hostility - mostly by the Conservative White right wing - his adversaries - opens up a perfect opportunity for him to register a "So When Did You Stop Beating Your Wife Because You Found Out That She Has Black Blood In Her Family - Just Like Ann Dunham?" scheme.
The dark matter point - the sight unseen - is the amount of protests against the actions of the American government that are no longer taking place with Obama at the helm.
It is not pro-Black bias that has motivated people who think like Mr Rice to switch their target away from the government and toward the "Tea Party". It is IDEOLOGICAL BIGOTRY that compels them to argue that "Obama Brought The Troops Home From Iraq!!!!" but remain suspiciously silent about the American munitions that fell on Libya, Somalia, and Yemen and that is gunning to do the same in Syria. Their past ideological predisposition against war making seems to have been sublimated by their will to "Not Give Their Common Enemies Ammunition Against Obama". They can't see that with this as their logic - the MACHINE would be wise to place another progressive into power as it continues doing as it has been doing sans the pesky protesters arguing that the Commander In Chief is a war criminal.
Why does Mr Rice make a glancing mention of the usurpation of our EDUCATION system but only focuses on opposition to Obama as the consequence of mis-education?
I recently posted the coordinates of Obama's southwest Philadelphia campaign headquarters and the attributes of a public elementary school that is close by. I seriously doubt that Mr Rice has the compunction to make note of the strong success that Obama's political party and associated ideology has had in Philadelphia and cities like it, only to have failed tremendously in levering their solidified powers over the HUMAN RESOURCE DEVELOPMENT INSTITUTIONS, to raise the level of education, having this applied in the form of:
- Increased Economic Productivity In The Neighborhoods where "The Least Of These" Live
- Improved Human Relationships as expressed by Stable Community & Familial Relationships and Decreased Violence
- Improved Health Outcomes as greater "Knowledge Of Self" compels people to ingest better foods and more wholesome messages
My personal skepticism makes me believe that this political machine has more interest in capturing the grievances of "The Least Of These" and projecting them into POLITICS for nothing more than the aggregation of POWER, than they have a body of evidence to prove that their #1 goal is ORGANIC DEVELOPMENT of these same people.
The bigotry of the White Evangelical is only matched by the equal bigotry of the Secular Progressive who has the same assumed inferiority of "The Least Of These" people. Instead of suppressing their vote they seek to pack as many of their votes into the offering plate.
While on the surface a "vote suppressor" appears to be the sole contemptible character in the narrative - the organized scheme which successfully redirects the angst of a group of people against an enemy that is increasingly outside of their domain of existence. As they seek to nationalize their "social justice" meme - any resistance of the enemy against "sharing" is proof that distance has not abated their bigotry.
Why Don't We Focus On The SQUANDERED ORGANIC COMPETENCY DEVELOPMENT That Took Place In The Mission Accomplished Zone?
The reason why progressive-fundamentalism seemingly has the upper hand on the "Taxes Equal Income" debate is because of the difficultly in explaining how their take over of "Mission Accomplished Zones" and subsequent failure to produce ORGANIC INCREASE is, in fact, a net harm to the people who purchased their narrative that got them into power.
