I like Rev Joe Watkins and think that he is a reasonable man. Like Raynard Jackson before him - when put in a firing line of Progressive Supremacists (especially those presenting a "Too Black Too Strong" persona) they show themselves to be uniquely WORTHLESS in presenting a position that any Black person who is aware of the problems in our community today can cleave to, providing them with the benefit of the doubt.

Like the democrats have done anything for the past 45 years to benefit the black community. Drop the psycho babble and concentrate on doing something that brings about positive results for your fellow blacks.
Education used to be high on the priority list for blacks. Today, I suspect that isn't the case what with education being a 'white thing' (whatever that is).
Black families used to be strong. Now they are rapidly going the way of the dinosaurs. Why marry when many a black woman willingly opens her legs for a man who strikes her fancy at the moment? Why worry about children conceived out of wedlock since the state takes care of them? Mother doesn't have to work because the government hands out free stuff. How many black people are multi-generational government hand out precipitants?
Blacks working? No education pretty much dooms them to low wage jobs for the rest of their life. Couple that with the high rate of incarceration for black males and who wants to hire an ex convict?
High rates of black on black violence do nothing but harm the black community. Who forces blacks to act out violently when faced with a situation where a simple 'excuse me' and a 'sorry' is all that is required? It sure isn't whitey.
In many ways black behavior is self destructive. Failed leadership coupled to corruption and you have a situation where the lost flock is in a worse situation had there been no leadership in the first place.

POSITIVE is in the eye of the beholder.
Presently what has been POPULARLY ACCEPTED as "appealing" has achieved functionally unchecked power and thus despite its failures at the local level it sells as "SUCCESS" its attempts at achieving what it has failed to do locally when they make strides to NATIONALIZE.
What you can't accept is that this is not unique to The Negro.

Black on black murders is only a good thing if it happens in the correct context?
Fatherless homes headed by a black female is only good if driven by the correct politics?
Improving the educational outcome of black children (many drop out)is good only if the race of the teachers is correct?
The black community has been lied to and continues being lied to by black pastors, black community leaders (wonder why white communities don't need community leaders?), politicians of all stripes, all the while swallowing the evil aspects of the hip-hop culture (i.e. stitches for snitches, getting one over on whitey, etc).

The proper context of my comment about "POSITIVE" was not to apply it to YOUR vantage point. Instead you need to consider how your White Progressive Cheshire Fox brothers see what IS PLEASING TO THE NEGRO in his present consciousness and they FEED him "Bread and Circuses" in line with what satisfies him.
I AM SAYING that in order to achieve LONG TERM POSITIVE OUTCOMES for the Black Community there will need to be SHORT TERM PAIN accepted as MY PEOPLE ERADICATE large swaths of what is accepted as THE NORM.
This NORM has failed to produce wide-scale DEVELOPMENT OF BLACK PEOPLE. It has mostly produced CONSUMERS that are comfortable in the context of what America offers.
Just as White people have also glued their fortunes to this sinking ship that is financed with funny money - so too has the Negro. However once you SBPDL crew runs your 'See I Told You So' reconciliation with the White Liberal - I AM FOCUSED UPON the competencies in hand among the Negroes that will allow us to survive on our own.
"POSITIVE" is not measured at every transaction. It is measured by the outcome. Go take a look at "The Biggest Loser" to see this.

They won't accept any pain without anesthesia (drugs, alcohol, food, entertainment) and if they won't do it on their own and the government can't do it so who will bring about the change? Suspect no one will.
