| Journalists Note The Need For A Muckraking Press In Pursuit Of Justice Rather Than Stenography |
Most people don't note the difference between a "Politician" versus GOOD GOVERNANCE.
I don't know enough about Philadelphia Police Commissioner Ramsey's present rule to make a commentary.
I do recall, however, that he had instituted "Stop And Frisk" in his previous assignments and he brought them to Philadelphia.
To be clear - I am not one to make a blanket indictment against Stop And Frisk as a tool.
I make the case that those who are now complaining about "Stop And Frisk" can't bring themselves to see that it is merely an 'OPERATIONALIZATION" of their "Take The Guns Off The Streets protests that they had previously demanded. In as much as the police are forced to have an action plan while others are allowed to merely rant - I don't believe that there has been a full vetting of how the "Stop and Frisk" policy has come to be.
If they had their way - the gun dealers would be the primary focus of sanction and control for those who wish to restrict our Second Amendment rights. Unlike most of the other articles in the US Constitution - few people will be called a "Constitutional violator" for maintaining a hard stance against our Constitutional gun ownership rights.

Regardless of the debate that focuses on "Stop and Frisk" or more stringent gun controls (placed upon gun dealers) - few people wish to talk about the problem that resides at the heart of the manner (within the inner city): Wanton gun violence enacted by people who's CONSCIOUSNESS was fomented within the very same communities that are complaining about "GUNS AND POLICE".
