Reading Between The Lines Assistance:
- When the former law student says "Temple University" she is talking about Black people in North Philly. She is merely smarter than the White cop from a few years ago who took a reporter around on a "ride along" and used racially offensive words. Don't think for a moment that she doesn't know who she is talking about. STILL -Why be offended about any "unspoken racial references" IF the facts on the street show they are true? This shows that you care more about what SHE thinks than your ability to compel those you call "The Least Of These" to value the lives of their fellow community members.
- When the Mayor of Philadelphia says "Germantown" he is ALSO talking about Black people. Don't allow the name of that section of Philly fool you.
When I read my friend Filled Negro's blog I empathize with him. He tries hard to scour the entire nation looking for "Anti-Republican Stories" that can provide "Self-Chum" to his base of readers and thus earn yet another "Blogging While Black Progressive Blog Award".Fear not though. Just this past weekend I had a good time with a friend of the family who moved to Georgia from Philly and who are now trying to "rescue" their loved ones from Philadelphia as well.
Though I am considered "Hateful" and "Anti-Black" (in truth I am merely attacking the POPULAR Black Political Consciousness" that wants to represent itself as "Real Black") the people who actually live and breathe the squandered circumstances that I speak about on this blog basically affirm everything that I note in my blog postings about Philly and other "Mission Accomplished Cities".
I maintain that those forces who have studied the "Present Prevailing Black Consciousness", who have made a calculated assessment of WHAT IT WANTS TO HEAR in order to be appeased, who have understood that it must not be CHALLENGED to make note of the huge gap between the "Congregational Unity Enforcement" operations that it maintains versus the painful truth on the streets as a pretext for CONSCIOUS CHANGE so that better results might be had........are the people who believe themselves to be CHOOSY CONSUMERS. They seek out those who AFFIRM them and thus have earned their INVESTMENT, failing to realize that this same "Investment Strategy" has got them to stand where they presently reside.
Maybe they need to take a far more defensive strategy - severing the ties with the "Confidence Men" that have lead them to their present circumstances?
After many decades of struggle the City Of Philadelphia was supposed to receive "Salvation Through Voting" and was to be a "Promised Land".
Today (per the actual words from this past weekend of a person who I know and who lives in Northeast Philly) I hear that "Philly is bad. I need to get out of there". They reference the CHANGE that has taken place in the city.
It is far too easy to say "The exodus of White people" (in the Northeast) is what produced the change. I know first hand that this is not the problem. From my personal experience per my West Philly community - it is the EXODUS OF FAMILIES from the city that produced the unstructured conditions that ultimately lead to the present chaos. RACE in and of itself is not the problem. The lack of stability from which the sense of community is derived is the problem.

I find it rather strange that a black family would need to rescue family members from Philadelphia. Let's see, must be those Amish tormenting those poor blacks again. What's that? You say that it is black on black violence/predation making those black families flee the city of brotherly love? That can't be the case here because everyone knows that blacks are model citizens and that crimes attributed to blacks are always trumped up charges by racist police officers. What's that you say, the police officers are mostly black? Wow, this is strange. First we have blacks running from other blacks due to predation and now we have blacks not cooperating with black police officers.
Do you suppose that a small percentage of blacks are in fact career criminals whose incarceration or demise would benefit the black community? That might be the case but when you have jurists releasing the same thugs back out onto the streets time and time again for serious crimes you have another lose-lose situation for people in the black community.
Might also be a thing where what's been tried for the past 50+ years isn't working and trying a new approach might be better for everyone involved.

I don't disagree with what you have written here.
My only concern is when the breaking point of you all "Kind White Folks" will be reached and you all return to your violent ways that are meant to "Keep The Negro In His Place".

That may have been the case 50 or more years ago. Today, most whites could pretty much care less what law abiding blacks are doing. Most whites (and perhaps many blacks - conjecture) probably feel the same way. How to deal with the ninjas/thugs so everyone can live safely is the big question? How to do that without trampling the rights of the ninjas. Do ninjas have more rights than the law abiding peoples of the country? Beginning to believe they do. Who gave the ninjas more rights?
Actually CF, I am willing to discuss this stuff with you - many aren't willing to do that on either side of the racial divide. You don't have too many folks coming over to comment. Your persistence is commendable.
One of the problems with writing is that it is difficult to have nuances that speech naturally contains and that a 15 minute talk would run into many pages.
Have you pissed me off? Sure, as I have you. Ultimately I think we have the same goal in mind just a different path towards that goal.
