As Mr Brancaccio beamed about an old African woman who worked her rounds making house calls with little more than a stethoscope, some bandages and packs of aspirin, his real goal was obvious in his closing commentary.
As no surprise (to me at least) Mr Brancaccio asked "If
You see - the goal of Mr Brancaccio and other White Progressive Cheshire Foxes IS NOT to highlight quality, competency or serious medical innovation as would be expected if they submitted a travel voucher to go to Germany, Japan or Australia. Instead the main goal of the focus on Rwanda is to present a RELATIVE picture of the core tenant of what the Progressive Supremacist values the most: SOCIAL EQUALITY.
You see - it didn't matter that the "African Walking Nurse" was not able to address 90% of the advanced medical ailments in "first world" nations. It was only the fact that Rwanda had a "nationalized commitment to social justice" that attracted Mr Brancaccio and other "White Progressive Allies" to film the glory that is taking place.
For a mindset that often looks to Cuba and tells tails about its wonderful system of healthcare where both it and the education are free, they care less about quality as expressed through advanced technological and procedural progression. It is the notions of EQUAL ACCESS to this grand public resource that matters the most - per their consciousness that their ideology has produced.
The latest series of reports from the New York Times which follows Mr Brancaccio's footprints into Rwanda are motivated in kind.
- NY Times: July 3 2012: In Rwanda, Health Care Coverage That Eludes the U.S.
- NY Times: June 14 2012 A Poor Nation, With a Health Plan

Draw Out The Real Sentiments Of The American Negro And His White Progressive Cheshire Fox Partner By Charging Them $2US, Just Like The Rwandans And Limiting His Care To What That Will Buy Them
Please recall that about 4 years ago continental Europe was said to be "the reference model that America can ONLY hope to ever become" when it came to "Social Justice Health Care". This was a necessary reference BECAUSE the Progressive Supremacists had something to SELL at the time.
Fast forward to today and note that as Europe is a smoldering fiscal mess. Walk past the talking points that claim that it was actually the "austerity cuts" which trimmed government spending in insolvent nations and thus triggered the economic slowdown. Focus instead on the core issue and not the talking points.
The common denominator is that many of these nations VOTED to make (their notions of the value of....) "People" to be of more importance than "the fiscal and economic truth" that must stand for the people to stand strong.
The subsequent "Occupations" that were filmed on the news showed that the people who had been conditioned to live as consumers of a given living standard, when stripped of this standard, turn violent. Their actions generate lacerations upon their own bodies that the social justice medical system is mandated to treat them for.
The lesson spoken to the system is clear: "YOU will not take these services from us. YOU figure out the financing scheme to make it work".
Those high minded individuals who cleave to the notions of their care for "The Least Of These" among them are dependent upon the capitalistic enemies among them to "pay their fair share". This confiscation and redistribution for use by the "common good" is sufficient laundering that allows the Progressive Supremacist to believe of himself that they are the ones who have done a good deed.
Rwanda shows the flaw in their thinking.
Absent a more robust economic engine within its borders, this nation with a GDP of $6 billion ($1,300 per capita) won't ever produce a health care system that is more to the liking of those who USE Rwanda to bash America, thus preventing them from departing the belly of the American capitalistic beast to enjoy life with universal health care in this lovely East African nation state.
With the rebels in the neighboring Democratic Republic of Congo actively firing munitions as they make a run on the government, it is likely that Rwanda will experience an influx of war refugees, further taxing their system of economics and health care.
WHERE ARE THE 'HUMAN RESOURCE DEVELOPMENT' INSTITUTIONS IN AMERICA TO PROVIDE STRUCTURAL SUPPORT IN EAST AFRICA?
The key problem with the Black American with the "Prevailing Political Consciousness" is that it is not connected to anything larger than a victory in the next passing play within the "Malclom X Political Football Game".
We were supposed to experience great things after "favorable people" were put into power in our schools and other "Human Resource Development Institutions". Instead of producing the same excess of physicians that have matriculated through the schools in our community that Cuba is able to send around the world - we instead have been conditioned into consumers. The people who occupy these seats of power are positioned to improve our customer service care in relation to the institution.
