If both The Grio.com and The Economic Policy Institute were to admit that they are Progressive Supremacist think tanks and if those who are looking at them for a perspective that is beyond what their fundamentalism has them committed to spewing SHOULD LOOK ELSEWHERE - I would have more respect for the both of them. They would at least tell the truth of their existence.
What do you do if you have devoted a considerable amount of time building up a consciousness about "the universe" as a means of understand the physics of how things work. You then focus in on certain specimens to understand their dynamics within this same universe. Thought they claim to be radiating light to illuminate this entire universe, they consistently show that not only are they not interested in going beyond their one corner of the universe - THEY ARE CONFIDENT that their fair haired readers, who should feel blessed that they have such a committed set of voices defending their interests..........are themselves unaware that there exists a space beyond their conscious awareness? An awareness that has been stoked, sculpted and diverted - just as these forces have intended to do.
Here is a PowerPoint bulleted list of the claims and the solutions put forth by the "Liberal Leaning" EPI that appeared to please the journalist from The Grio.com based on the lack of push back in the questions.
With The Black Unemployment Rate Inching Up To 14.4% ..............the director of the Race, Ethnicity and the Economy Program of the EPI says.....
| Economic Policy Institute | Constructive Feedback University |
| Government (Debt) Spending Must Increase because - The corporations are making record profits It is necessary for the government to step in to break this relationship and to get the economy functioning normally again. |
Does anyone else notice that the FEDERAL DEBT is always the MAGIC SOLUTION for all problems in the eye of the Progressive Supremacist? I showed last week that "Federal Debt" is merely COMMODITIZED promises that are funded by "Magic Money" from the Federal Reserve, for the purposes of the investor class to receive a steady stream of income from the interest tax service paid by present dollars from the general funds. This is favorable to the investor because, at least for now, they don't fear that their principle will be lost and they can trade in and out of it at any time. They understand that the US Government is NEVER going to pay off the balance. I am not going to make a POLITICAL debate with the Black Progressive Supremacist. The ONLY point that I will make at this time is that they support a scheme that promotes the maintenance of the PRESENT Standard Of Living from a CONSUMER perspective, without noting that the damage that they represent comes from their failure to develop "The Least Of These", beyond CONSUMERS over to net organic producers, competent of developing the jobs in the context of them taking the reigns of the local economies where they now have dominate power. NONE of what they suggest is capped off by their appreciation of the COSTS to the Black Community for the FAILURE TO DEVELOP OUR PEOPLE during this intermediate period (Between "Unchecked Oppression" through to "Unchecked Economic Collapse") NOTE: I am listening to the audio from the PBS documentary on writer "Mark Twain" as I type this. A Black female just had all of her children sold away by the "slave master", who told her to "quit blubbering". The talking point about "record corporate profits" do not address the actions in the economy where BOTH corporations and governments are paring their work forces and their spending BECAUSE their economic forecasts for the future look bleak. The company who are building up their capital treasuries NOT BECAUSE they are greedy but because they know that the COMPETITOR WITH THE CASH ON HAND 2 or 3 years from now as they walk through the desert WINS. For the EPI their "self-satisfaction" that "greed" is the driver is akin to what was heard on "Black Wing Grievance Talk Radio" 9 months ago as the economy listed: "RACISM by business who want Obama out of office by destroying the economy" was their claim at the time. |
The Increase In Black Unemployment Rate Was Due To More Blacks In The Work Force NOT From A Reduction In Black People Working It is important to realize the black unemployment rate rose last month because more blacks were in the labor force, not because the share of blacks working declined. We want blacks to participate in the labor force, but we need more jobs to keep them in the labor force. |
Credit should be given to EPI for talking about (implicitly) the "Labor Participation Rate" and not just the unemployment rate. (See data below) The point that EPI needs to be brought to task upon is in regard to the JOB CREATION WITHIN THE BLACK COMMUNITY. I see the EPI as a "forward selling progressive public policy think tank". They make an assessment of the consumer needs of the Black community and then tell of the government's need to step up and affirm their commitment to "The Least of These". The rear view mirror of the EPI is broken. They seem averse to issuing critical analysis of the "Mission Accomplished Zones" where, in fact, the people who believed in the public policy position that they offer have taken control. WHERE ARE THE JOBS???!!! While they would likely rebut my indictment by noting the negative influence from the non-governmental (ie: corporate) forces and the adversarial government policies that prevented the promise from coming to fruition - we should note that in their initial run up to power over local governments these forces were not supposed to be a lingering threat. Now with power in hand the existence of these forces buttress their drive for more POWER in the higher rungs of government. Their Progressive Public Policy, (the economic theories) thus stands unscathed as a contributor to the lack of jobs. We can only conclude that the long-suffering Black people must suffer more as the balance of our people cleave to these theories, though some move away toward greener pastures while retaining the loyalty to their ideology. |
| Note This Next Section Deserves A Full, Verbatim Quote From The Dialogue Between Two Black Progressives: The Grio: Generally black unemployment is about twice as high as the rate for whites, even outside of a recession? Why? EPI:
No one has a good understanding of how and why this relationship has persisted for the last 50 years or so. We know that it is not simply about education. The black labor force is much better educated today than it was in the 1960s and 1970s, and yet the relationship persists.
The black labor force, on average, has a higher level of educational attainment than the Latino labor force, yet blacks have a higher unemployment rate than Latinos. Anti-black bias in the labor market likely plays some role.

Analysis Of The Grio: In reading this article I am more committed to finish my computer analysis of the Black employment rates that the BLS provides as a separate break out beginning in the year 1970. While The Grio attempts to NORMALIZE the 2 to 1 ratio between Black and White unemployment - MY ARGUMENT is that the increase in FAVORABLE POLITICAL POWER after receiving INVESTMENTS FROM BLACK PEOPLE should be born out in a RETURN ON INVESTMENT, as shown by the narrowing of this ratio. I have loaded all of the monthly unemployment data (Black and White) into a spreadsheet program and I am seeking to define a trend where the "Intra-Black Community" unemployment rate remains on a steady decline, as evidence that our INVESTMENTS have borne ORGANIC fruit. This as contrasted with the "White" unemployment rate, thus showing that the contextualize economic tradewinds have brought both groups down. (In summary - IF our "Human Resource Development Institutions" are indeed EFFECTIVE - we should expect to see a steady closing of the "Black / White Gap" regardless of the over-riding national economic situation) The Grio appeared to take the 2 to 1 as a given as a means of protecting the conversation from the question of the EFFECTIVENESS of the leadership where Black people live in our highest conversations, instead leading the conversation into an area that they can be more easily appeased by: RACISM!!! Analysis Of The EPI I type this analysis of Black Unemployment without needing to expressly note the forgone conclusion that IF there was an "Adversarial President" in power the EPI and The Grio not be discussing "WHY" things are the way they are for Black unemployment - seeking mutual appeasements. Instead they would be launching attacks against POLICIES and making subtle indictments against the INTENTIONS of those in power to harm Black people. If there was ever a time for a Black version of "CNN's Reliable Sources" - a service to "muckrake the muckrakers" - this would be the time. The EPI has to necessarily dismiss the findings from the "Journal Of Blacks In Higher Education" that show the strong correlation between an advanced degree along with marriage to Black prosperity on par with "The White Folks". The National Urban League's "Perfect 1.0 Reference". There are hundreds of thousands of jobs that are vacant today. This due to the skills gap that is present that bars employment. As I watched "Democratic Strategist Who Is Black", Richard Flower on Chinese Television (CCTV) arguing that recent college graduates will be hurt as the Congress blocks Obama's plans to keep their student loan rates at 3%, I never heard him get beyond "Obama Promotion" and talk about the fact that their education is for naught. We Know Know, According To The EPI That The Hispanics That Escape The RACIAL PROFILING By Sheriff Arpaio, Who Remains In Office, Despite The Efforts Of Assistant AG Thomas Perez, Have Solved The EMPLOYMENT RACISM Problem In The Non-Racist Part Of America - If They Are Not "Caught In Az And Released"......Back Into Mexico A "Fast Talking Negro" who is quick on his feet will come up with a scheme that satisfied the PROGRESSIVE FUNDAMENTALIST journalist that is interviewing him but which doesn't pass the smell test among those who are not fellow believers ANTI-BLACK BIAS IN LABOR The same corporate powers who are willing to cause the "Kindly White Folks" to lose their jobs as they send jobs over to China and India are the very same forces that hate the American Ninja so much that they will choose a MEXICAN over him - according to the EPI. Again since the "Black Hole" is present in which the EPI "won't go there" in questioning the effectiveness of jobs creation by the local political and economic machines that are in power where Black people live in our highest concentrations - it seems logical to the EPI to make the case for the existence of a special "Black Labor Racism" that the Hispanic Laborer has broken free of. |
| Another quote in verbatim: The Grio:
What kind of policies would address the high black jobless rate?
Our goal for the black unemployment rate should be about 4 percent. We can’t get to a 4 percent black unemployment rate while the national unemployment rate is over 8 percent. To address the broad economic stagnation we are in, we need more job-creating investments in the American people and the American economy. We know what works.
The Congressional Budget Office (as well as all of the major professional macroeconomic analysts) has indicated that the American Reinvestment and Recovery Act (editor’s note: this is informally known as the “stimulus bill” of 2009) created more than 3 million jobs. We need more of these types of policies, since we have a current jobs deficit of about 10 million jobs.
But to break the 2-to-1 black-to-white unemployment-rate ratio, we will also need targeted investments in high-unemployment communities. There are many black communities that can best be described as economically depressed. They have not been depressed for two or three years, but two or three decades. For these communities, we need a modern Works Progress Administration. Only something of this sort can break the decades-long pattern of high unemployment in these communities.

I secretly envy Black Progressive Supremacist. They have the "Black Community Loyalties ON LOCK". As the present day Black Journalist Operatives converge on a strategy by which they all agree NOT TO TALK ABOUT WHAT WAS SOLD TO BLACK AMERICA, not only 4 years ago in 2008 but since 1964..........they get away with defining the terms of the INDICTMENT that is before us. They are more powerful than the scene in Spike Lee's "Malcolm X" in which Denzel Washington was seen making Negros move with discipline and synchronization using merely hand commands. The Lamp Blacked Yellow Journalist uses his fingers on the keyboards to achieve a broader effect on more Negroes that read their enunciated commands that are submitted by the publishers deadlines. The EPI has the HOPE for a "4 Percent Black Unemployment Rate". My problem with them is that they show they are INCOMPETENT to OPERATIONALIZE this dream. The SCHOOLS that now educate the "Black Adult Community" of the year 2042 show little evidence that they are on board for a 96% BLACK DEPLOYMENT RATE. The ECONOMIC THEORIES that are spouted by the Black Racial Services Machine show no evidence that they desire a 96% Black Deployment rate when they appear just as happy with Black people IN RECEIPT OF the "Social Justice" that will allow us to live up to a desired standard of living, as defined as the ACCESS that we are provided. How do you expect a "Black Press", who is purported to be the "Keepers Of The Black Consciousness", to execute effective MUCKRAKING for the protection of the Black Community's Interests against all who seek to molest us - external and internal - WHEN THEY THEMSELVES seem to be taken in by the fraudulent scheme? This "Stretch Goal" of 4% Black Unemployment appears to be seen by the Black Press Operative as a viable means to recover from the recent "purging of Black employees from mainstream news rooms" that so upset the NABJ. Is it possible that the "Black Press" is so much a CONSTITUENT of the forces that they report upon so favorably that they are in fact, CONTAMINATED in their ability to aggressively defend the interests of the Black community from yet another round of "taking"? |
It is clear that the report from MSNBC's The Grio.com has no clue on the contents of the "Black Community Investment Portfolio in which their journalistic mentors like "Tired And Retired Jack White" had sold to the Black community the same bill of goods, only to have us end up the way we are at present:
Looking to be MADE EXCITED, once again, to motivate us to come and donate more ballots to the offering plate.
The ONLY question that the Grio should have asked The EPI and other Progressive Supremacist forces is: WHERE IS THE BLACK COMMUNITY'S RETURN ON INVESTMENT? SHOW ME THE MONEY!!!!!

This is quite true. So how do you get the required skills? You learn, you read, and you learn. It is quite hard if your educational foundation is sand.
I remember blacks desiring an education so badly that they were willing to risk their very lives to get an education as good as the one being offered up to whites. Where is that drive today? Educational ninjas/crabs (learning is a white thing) and their supporters (blacks won't ever amount to anything so why even bother to engage them to learn) in the form of educators kick the legs out from under black children and thus hinder the development of a good educational foundation.
When the children arrive home are they asked what they learned in school today or do they find other things to entertain them? The parents need to take an active role in teaching their children the importance/value of an education.
Their peers, teachers and family heavily contribute to either the child's success or failure.

SBPDL Anon:
It is a mischaracterization to even hint at the notion that "Black people are lazy".
The truth is that the "Do It Or Your Family Starves" mentality of the past has been enveloped by a "Nationalized Social Justice" meme.
The notion of a "Right" to a Job" and that it is an offense to tie "Health Insurance to Employment" should be countered with the fact that despite the POLITICAL TAKE OVER of our "Human Resource Development Institutions" by favorable people - these resources have not been effectively used to provide the (creation of the ....) FINANCING nor the (sufficient) EDUCATION of the "Professional Service Agents" that will provide the uplift to the desired standard of living.
POLITICAL CONQUEST and OPTICS meant to induce our people have taken the place of PROTECTION OF OUR OWN INTERESTS - even when an EMBEDDED CONFIDENCE MAN is doing the usurpation.
"It is a mischaracterization to even hint at the notion that "Black people are lazy".
Never said that blacks were lazy. The (no one can keep me from getting an education) drive to get an education vanished somewhere in the 80s-90s where it became un-cool to work at preparing yourself for adulthood. Peer pressure and culture did that.
Unfortunately, only a few people become superstars in sports, entertainment, etc. What becomes of those who aren't athletic, lack musical talent, can't tell a joke, etc? Without something else to fall back on (i.e. education) they are lost, stuck in minimum wage jobs forever.
