An interesting dilemma to ponder.
Surely the Taliban are no champions of "Social Justice" that allows them to take the moral high ground in this debate.
Yet it is also true that despite mass protests from the people and inconsistent demands for "cease fire" from the Pakistani government the "NATO" bombs keep raining down upon upon the sovereign nation of Pakistan. Many people believe that while the government if faking outrage in public, it also is conspiring with "NATO" to allow the attacks. (At least some operatives in the government are doing this.)
The Taliban reasons that they should not allow the same nation that is bombing their lands to be allowed to provide polio vaccinations. "If you really love us so much then you would also be sure not to blow up our people as your ordinance is more deadly than is the polio virus".
The truth is that the Taliban IS discredited and they are not the voices that should be calling out "NATO" in this way. The "Anti-War" / "Social Justice" movement that has folded (for some strange reason. I wonder what it is?) are the voices that need to speak out on the increasing drone attacks in Pakistan and elsewhere.
