On a recent C-SPAN book review (discussing Malcolm X) one Black woman said something that was overwhelmingly true:

BLACK PEOPLE DO NOT TAKE OURSELVES SERIOUS ENOUGH IN LINE WITH THE MAJOR CRISIS THAT OUR COMMUNITY IS IN.

Sadly, worse than the propagandists who spew "Bread And Circuses" into the Black Community's "public domain" is the sad truth that they often know THE FLAVOR OF THE CHUM that a good portion of members of the Black community prefer.

The greatest problem is that there is no TRANSPARENT force of INSTITUTIONAL INTEGRITY beating back this short term opportunism out of consideration for the long term negative implications that impact our community development.

I hope that some of you appreciate that I DO NOT use "You Are Down In The Mud With Us" type arguments.    Such an example would be to note the pictures that are retrieved when the Google Image Search of "US President Burned In Effigy" return mostly President George W Bush being burned............ON US SOIL during anti-war marches.  (Back when they protested against the US President instead of NATO).

I know my opponents well.   

It is WORTHLESS to try and indict them with something inside of the "American Political Domain" as this is their playground.

Instead, the secret to successful debate against them is to move them BACK INTO the domain that they PURPORT to be working to improve the lives of people within, as justification for their antics within the "American Political Domain".  

Since "Dr King" and Anti-American Imperialism are two important constructs to the American Progressive-Fundamentalist - it stands to reason that a far better indictment against them, with the hopes that they'll CHANGE is to shift the SCOPE of our focus - beyond the United States and force them to focus on "The Lease Of These" - just as they claim to be - who are struggling against the "Evil American Empire" yet THIS TIME they don't have the support of the American Progressive-Fundamentalist.

He is saving that "Dr King quote" about INJUSTICE for a time when they don't care that its use about the American Commander In Chief would impact his reelction chances.
