100 People Dead In Nigerian Religious Violence, Racism Not Alleged To Be A Factor

From The NY Times Article:

MAIDUGURI, Nigeria — A curfew in a religiously volatile Nigerian state has failed to stop days of violence in which almost 100 people have died, an official said Wednesday. Residents of a besieged city in another state said a curfew imposed there had left them trapped in their homes.
The official, who works in rescue services, said more than 98 people had died since Sunday after three church bombings incited reprisal killings in the religiously volatile state, Kaduna, in northern Nigeria. He spoke on the condition of anonymity because he was not authorized to talk to journalists.
A radical sect known as Boko Haram has claimed responsibility for attacks on the churches in the cities of Zaria and Kaduna, setting off violence that eclipsed the original attacks.
The reprisals highlight festering religious tensions in Nigeria. Kaduna sits at the border between the country’s predominantly Muslim north and its mainly Christian south. There is a history of attacks and counterattacks between the two communities, and the authorities are often cautious about releasing death figures.
Officials initially said 21 people were killed in Sunday morning’s blasts, but they now say the death toll has jumped to 98, including reprisal killings. They refused to clarify the number who died in the initial blasts and the number killed in revenge.
As news of the church attacks filtered through the city of Kaduna on Sunday morning, young Christians took to the streets in violent protests. Smoke billowed over a mosque in a predominantly Christian part of the city.

This post is about the tragic events of Nigeria, applied to the present consciousness of the Black American.

I am not arguing "You have it better than other 'Blacks' around the world, stop complaining".

I AM arguing that there is a collection of "Equal Human Beings" here in America who have access to education, infrastructure resources and communications that allow them sufficient comfort to remove their conscious concern off of the question of where their next food or glass of water will come from.   IF they had sufficient conscious awareness and connectedness - they might seek to find a broader purpose for the talents that they say are UNDERULTILIZED and NOT APPRECIATED in their country of birth for some other greater good.

Today that EMOTION that is tied to American Politics might be better served into being re  channeled into the process of generating Peace, Productivity and Tolerance among their own population segment with the conscious awareness that whatever they develop where they now reside is going to be transplanted as 'Best Practices' upon another group of EQUAL HUMAN BEINGS somewhere else in the "Black Diaspora".

CONSTRUCTIVE FEEDBACK SAYS:

Until The American Negro Is Made To Feel CHEAP When He Agrees Affix His Racial Essence And His Emotions  Into The Foolishness Con-Game  Known As "The Malcolm X Political Football Game" In Which He Is Seen Playing American Politics For The Sake Of Marginal Political Advantage In The Context Of His Conscious Existence In America, He Will Never Receive The Awareness That GOD Placed Him Here In The Wilderness - Await For Him To Lift His Head From Among The Weeds And See His Greater PURPOSE In The Tropical Areas Around The Globe From Which His Is Stealing Away Precious Time From The Structural Support That They Need From Him - Their Lost Tribal Brothers.
