Street Pirate Says He It Was Self-Defense Against Being Asked For Photo ID When He Delivered A "Street Pirate Sponsored Execution" On Two Young Black Police Men In Dekalb County

I attended the public memorial service of Officers Bryant and Barker - members of the Dekalb County Georgia Police.
Two young married fathers and military veterans who were working after hours as guards at a local housing complex that had problems with crime over the years.  Their lives were wasted for no good reason.
(Eerily similar to the fate suffered by the late Officer McPhail Of Savannah GA)


The news that the killer believed that he was exercising 'Self Defense' as the two police officers thought that he smelled of marijuana and asked to see his photo id is hard to take.   Some how this "threat" to his person  escalated into the killer hitting both of the officers with and initial flurry of bullets, knocking them to the ground and then standing over them to finish the job as  his automatic weapon pumped more bullets into their bodies.

I don't believe the testimony of the state's witness who was in the car observing it all.  The claim is that there was one shooter, the other two were just watching as the the request for ID turned into a double assassination.  There is little chance that the conflict went down as the former friend who is testifying says it did.  He is clearly trying to save his own hide.

The police had to chase down and capture all three of them, even though only one of them is charged with the shooting.

It seems clear that Mario cut a deal with the Dekalb County Attorney General to avoid prosecution.  I suspect that he or the other occupant of the car played a larger role in the fatal events than what the court testimony indicates.

Please note the second video in which the murderer gives a DEFENSE of "self defense", but despite him murdering TWO BLACK MEN - his words did not generate any protests.

It is strange that some people retain their biased views of the South and its evolution - can't bring themselves to see that this Black male cop killer in Georgia no longer has to fear a Tea Party Klan making a night time visit to his jail cell.  His only concern is that the public defendant assigned to him is incompetent in his ability to adequately represent him.
Maybe the problem is that he is the only one in the court room who is so narcissistic that he can't see his own guilt and thus the theatrics are meant to delay the inevitable.
