Racism Chaser's Journal: Black People Stop Buying The Wall Street Journal To Punish "Racial Ignorance" By News Corp - Thus Perpetuating Economic/Financial Ignorance

"We cannot allow US to be defamed on a major US news paper.   WHY because other people are reading it.  Other people around the world."
- Rob Redding, "Redding News Review

Nets on Jay-Z track
As long as the Nets are allowing Jay-Z to call their marketing shots — what a shock that he chose black and white as the new team colors to stress, as the Nets explained, their new “urban” home — why not have him apply the full Jay-Z treatment?
Why the Brooklyn Nets when they can be the New York N------s? The cheerleaders could be the Brooklyn B----hes or Hoes. Team logo? A 9 mm with hollow-tip shell casings strewn beneath. Wanna be Jay-Z hip? Then go all the way!
“I guess I won’t need my color TV anymore now that the Nets will be wearing black and white,’’ writes reader John Lynch.
And reader David Distefano now wonders what’s left for the Nets to choose as “their alternate third-uniform to sell during nationally televised games.”

I subscribe to the Wall Street Journal.
I am not going to cancel my membership to this News Corporation publication as a sign of "Congregational Unity" until you cancel your subscription to iTunes, Rhapsody, Rdio because they have a song library that is laced with songs containing the word "Nigga".  There is PRIDE over the platinum selling "Hop Hop Voice Of The Street Pirate" lyricist.  Rarely does the fact that many of their songs play out the "life imitating art, imitating life" render a condemnation AND SUSTAINED FOLLOWUP after yet another Black person is murdered on the streets via gun play that sounds suspiciously like the threats to "blast a 9 through your chest".
Atlanta Rapper Slim Dunkin MURDERED

For some reason the News Corporation's media outlets prove to be SUPERIOR in their ability to offend Black Progressive-Fundamentalists than the other sources that don't have such an "official" calling.  Or even those who are chartered to deliver on the door step of Black America any "White conservative" attacks on Black people's sensibilities that might have been missed.   I wonder if Mr Redding believes that there is an "Opportunity Cost" suffered by the Black community as we invest our time reading what "Media Matters" tells us what WHITE CONSERVATIVES said about "US", during the time that we should have been building up a stronger system of self-regulation WITHIN the Black Community - that enforces a certain standard upon what represents itself as "Black"?

While I wish that Phil Mushnick would have been more descriptive of his intent to mock the lyrical excesses of the new minority owner of the Nets - it seems that some people are intent to do a "Dr Laura Campaign - against Mushnick, The Post, Fox News, and News Corp.  Making sure that they know the cost of "Offending Black Progressives".

My problem resides in the "Dark Matter Space" which DOESN'T offend their sensibilities because it would cause them to step on their ingrown toenails of their agenda.

In my life time I have heard more White people listening out loud to the word "Ninja" via the music playing (in their car, etc) than I have been called the name to my face.  This includes several encounters with Catholic School White boys in West Philly as they rode the bus along the board street between our neighborhood and theirs or we walked through their neighborhood.

(I just popped my smartphone battery in order to cease Rob Redding's latest rant.  Though he is an "independent" so much of his viewpoints sound just like "The Occupation" and "The Color Of Change".  )

Rob Redding I agree that it is irrelevant what your political or ideological label is.
You are none the less a "Racism Chaser".
Whatever the frame of reference that you are operating from a WHITE PERSON "INSULTING THE SENSIBILITIES" of Black people prompts you to head in that direction as if he was waving a red scarf your way.
(Please study this diagram as this is the logical results from RACISM CHASING.  It doesn't matter if this is your nefarious intention or not.  YOU FUNCTION in such a manner, regardless.  This is the secret sauce of how the Black Community's GROWTH is stunted despite having "favorable people in power".  They retain their 'congregational unity' despite these failures because ultimately the focsus on what White people say is SUPERIOR to regulating "good governance within our communities".  To those who are incompetent to bring this into being - UNITY is important as it compels the people to cover the tracks of the leadership that is failing them. ):

If the news that appears on the front pages of major news papers that embarrass Black people is your measure - I could load up this entire page with links that point to:
  • "Ninja Who Got Themselves Kilt" based in the failed conflict resolution system within our community
  • Schools that are supposed to educate our young people but are failing to prepare our people for the challenges ahead
  • Business within Black communities that are under constant assault by Street Pirates - causing the owners to teeter out of business as their inventory replacement costs and their insurance costs increase as they suffer "1,000 small Tulsa Oklahoma Cuts" - except many of these businesses within our community are not Black owned.  But that's another story.

I wonder, Rob - if YOU could ever imagine lifting Sean Carter - minority owner of the "Brooklyn Nets" up to the standard that you hold the other White sports franchise owners?
Instead of noting that he made his millions with "ghetto fabulous tunes" and thus he was using the word "Nigga" to add flava to his music YOU NOW force him to operate with the same decorum as you expect from President Obama, Condi Rice or Mayor Reed of Atlanta.  Regardless of how many times they may have said the word "Nigga" as a term of endearment or slang - their PRESENT CAPACITY makes it unacceptable for them to say it.
In  Dec 2008 when The Georgia Democrats needed "The Blacks" to come out and vote in the
runoff election for US Senator they put aside any FEIGNED OFFENSE
over "Hip Hop Voice Of The Street Pirate" Lyrics
and instead sought to link the popularity of these entertainers
as the confidence middle men necessary to get "The Blacks"
to come back out to the polls to feel good once again,
just like they felt when Obama had won a month earlier.
. Of course I am being a "Partisan" when I call this out -  rather than telling the painful truth
about the ignorant associations that some people have about Black people and what motivates us.
My rants are "more OFFENSIVE" than the Black people who play along with this scheme, as long as they obtain
the political outcome that they desire.   The present condition of our community PROVES that this is
done at OUR EXPENSE and for their profit.
(Is that you Rep John Lewis and [future mayor Kasim Reed giving your tacit endorsement?])

Let me tell you my personal experience with the word "Nigga" as said by Jay Z.
A few years ago I was in the lobby of a major corporation that everyone would know, waiting to do a sales call.   A sales manager who I was providing consulting support to had his phone ring just as we were signing in.

His ring tone was "New York" by Jay-Z and Alisha Keys.
After he answered the phone and quickly got off, he looked at me and smiled and sang "New Yooork, concrete jungle where dreams are made of.......".

I was supposed to be impressed that this mid-40's White male was "down" because he had a hip-hop song on his cellphone.
Instead I was pissed that this song that I know to have lyrics laced with the word "Nigga" was being talked up as a replacement for Frank Sinatra's more famous anthem for the city - which was dated in the minds of the more bourgeoisie crowd of today.

New York State Of Mind - "Nigga" Underscored

This was my DAVE CHAPPLE moment.  While he knew that it was time to walk away from a $50 million contract when he saw White production support people laughing a bit too hard at the "Sambo-ish" characters that he was playing - I - a Black man who is too frequently the only Black person in the meeting (far, far more Indian/Pakistanis with brown skin in the meetings than Black Americans) let everyone know that they are getting a top quality representation from me and not whatever they may have thougth a "Black representation" might be prior to ME defining what it is.  They can see that I am Black.  My performance allows these middle level and senior decision makers to make an imprint about the NEXT Black American person that may come to them looking for a job.

It is stunning that you would call for Black people to cancel their Wall Street Journal subscription than you would think about having them to stop reading:
  • Rolling Out Magazine
  • The Root.com
  • The Grio.com
  • Ebony / Jet
  • Essence

As quiet as it is kept in Atlanta - WVEE/WAOK was LIKELY responsible for attracting more Black people into homes in various parts of Dekalb County which ultimately closed with (what are now called) "Subprime Mortgages" due to their frequent radio remotes telling Black people "WHY RENT WHEN YOU CAN OWN" than did Wells Fargo and Country Wide Mortgage could ever successfully attract Black people into action via mass mailings.

As the CONFIDENCE MAN IN THE MIDDLE - "Black-Wing Grievance Talk Radio" leveraged its relationship with its listening audience to compel Black people to walk into the lions den.

Now that the bottom has fallen out - they are allowed to pretend that they are OUTRAGED that THE BLACK COMMUNITY GOT USED by "The Banks".

Why is there never an expose' from the so called "Black Press" as to what the other hand in your propaganda scheme have done for profit at the expense of Black people?  Surely they cashed their compensation checks at the same time the mortgage broker middle men who has Black people signing on the bottom line cashed theirs as well.

(Before anyone attempts to sue me for slander / defamation of character - review your own broadcast tapes.  Start with your journal of "broadcast remotes" as an index and then go into your tape library for that day.   The judge will dismiss your case).

BECAUSE they all shill for the Black Racial Services Machine that dominates every single institutions within the Black community.  And despite them successfully compelling Black people to INVEST their "Black Community Development Hopes" into the "Progressive Joint Venture" on behalf of who pays the bills - YOU are more offended by one "racist" White journalist in the News Corporation empire than you are that the "BLACK AGENDA - BUILDING A STRONGER AMERICA" was held in the studios of MSNBC???

I know that certain members of the NABJ were PISSED that a "Black Journalist" did not get the nod for the 5pm spot on MSNBC - as the platform to stream Progressive-Fundamentalist chum into the Black Community.

I am wondering - IF, however it has any concern about the CROSS CONTAMINATION between the "Democratic /Progressive Agenda - painted Black "AND the "Black Community's Permanent Interests" being molested every day?

Often it is that which is NOT COVERED but which represents an item that was INVESTED IN by Black people based on the confidence of the "favorable journalist" that proves damning.

I guess this is where you and I differ consciously.   A man like Phil Mushnick will be punished for "offending" Black people.

The streaming OFFENSE to our CONSCIOUS SENSIBILITIES that is ingested and digested without rebuttal is more damning to our development.
Worse than anything that Mushnick could ever get away with is what the Black Racial Services Machine is doing from their inside vantage point of the "Black Community Consciousness Nucleus".

The fact that no Black Wing-Talk radio host that was "gracious" enough to invite you on their show to talk about your e-book got "offended" enough to think that you were talking about them and thus stepping on their toes is merely just another example of how - at the end of it all - it is NOT your "independence" that is the distinction.

You are not willing to apply the same "Occupation" tactics as you go against THE SYSTEM that is being maintained WITHIN THE BLACK COMMUNITY.  It receives a monopoly clearance of Black support but upon failure to deliver as promised - it merely changes the terms of the debate and retains "congregational support" by continuing indictment against known popular enemies of the Black Progressive.
