Prosecutors contend Hatch hired Michael "Marlo Mike" Louding to kill 35-year-old Terry Boyd, who was shot to death through a window while he was inside his home. Boyd's sister, Rochelle Wagner, is the mother of Hatch's 5-year-old daughter. She left the court crying after hearing the verdict and did not speak with reporters.
Defense attorney Jason Williams said the rapper comes from "a fine family, who had prayed throughout the ordeal."
When asked Hatch's reaction, Williams said, "He just kept saying 'Thank God, Thank God,' over and over."
Hatch, 29, is currently serving an eight-year prison term on separate drug charges. Had he been convicted in Boyd's slaying, he would have faced life in prison.
"I think he has a long life and an amazing career ahead of him now," said Martin Regan, another attorney.

For a prevailing Black consciousness that would go and scour the newspapers for evidence of country music stars that have killed people - when faced with the challenge of contrasting the VIOLENT MESSAGES that are contain in many "Hip Hop Voice Of The Street Pirate" albums with the deadly "Life Imitating Art Imitating Life" situation that many individuals who partake in this lifestyle actively promote - they are far too often incompetent in putting together a comprehensive program of governance to rectify the situation.

As an INDICTMENT-BASED struggle - this consciousness that is prompted to identify and react to the slightest SLIGHT against the Black community is similarly motivated to remain quiet about damning attacks upon the Black community that come FROM WITHIN the Black community that they claim as their protectorate.

There is a better chance of this news about the deadly and violent streak within this commercial genre of entertainment getting airtime within Black Press channels IF The News Corp hires Naiomi Shaeffer Riley to do an investigative report on "Violence In Hip Hop - How 'The Blacks Are Made To Suffer From Its Terror' " than we will see if there are more killings of Hip Hop artists this year.

The sad truth is:  There IS NO INSTITUTIONAL MEANS WITHIN THE BLACK COMMUNITY to mitigate this violence.
Thus it is outsourced to the POLICE AUTHORITIES to handle the situation when VIOLENCE forces them to open an investigation.
