YOUR EQUALITY HAS BEEN ACHIEVED ONCE "THE 99%'S" VOTER TALLY WHICH PROMOTED THE OPERATING REGIME INSIDE OF A POLITICAL DISTRICT INTO POWER AS "THE AUTHORITIES" AND THEY ARE THE ONES WHO SHOW UP TO YOUR DOOR TO ENFORCE THE LAW.
Your expectation that they NOT enforce the law as they have your favor - is evidence that you are EQUAL to the people who you thought were corrupt and thus you sought to obtain a voting majority to neutralize them.
The phenomenon of seeing an "All Black" crew of Dekalb County Sheriff's Deputies showing up to evict a (Black) woman from her house - against the popular sentiments of the (Progressive) Black Community is parallel to the reasons why I believe that the arguments made in "The New Jim Crow" do not accurately represent the reality of the day.
In both cases ("The Banks Are Stealing Black People's Homes" and "The Criminal Justice System" is trying to destroy the Black Community by incarcerating Black males) - the forces making the indictment are unable to factor in the presence of the BLACK PEOPLE who are operating the system.
IN BOTH Cases we must turn around and look at the "purple ink" on all of the Black voters' hands for they have voted to affirm the people who are in power, enforcing the system - that the activists say is RACIST in its intent to destroy Black people.
The popular vote from the Black Community AND the lack of the "De-Blackification Attacks" upon these people who got 50%+1 of the Black vote (see Clarence Thomas as a reference) shows that the prevailing political consciousness that blows through the Black community has not yet reconciled the two forces that are at play:

- The PRIDE that we are told to have when a FAVORABLE (Progressive) Black Person enters office and we are heard Living Vicariously Through Them ("WE Are In The White House")
- The STRUGGLE AGAINST THE SYSTEM in which the legacy of this capitalist/racist system strikes a blow upon the Black community - and is in need of more progressive reform in order to produce "social justice".
In as much as the "Favorable People" are now the Establishment Authority in Dekalb County Georgia (The second most wealthy majority Black county in America - after Prince Georges County MD) the lack of will by the activists to PROTEST against the people that THEY VOTED INTO POWER - lest they fear that their position will be weakened and the REAL ENEMY might come back into office - this shows the core corruption of this as a movement. Its intent is NOT to exact REFORMS BY ANY MEANS NECESSARY.
The only agenda that it has is to render EXTERNAL INDICTMENT via PROTEST and RESISTANCE ACTIONS against those ideological forces that it opposes.
The ironic point is that once they achieve MISSION ACCOMPLISHED STATUS using this very POWER SCHEME - they are forced to practice "Establishment Power Repudiation" in which they now DENY that the forces in power have the AUTHORITY to make the radical changes toward SOCIAL JUSTICE that they strive for.
In order to save face from having wild cat protests in front of the Dekalb County Government Services building - it is far more profitable for them to go down to the Wells Fargo bank branch and shame the lowly bank branch manager - as THIS will achieve a greater effect of CONGREGATIONAL UNITY.
If they were to toss an egg on Sheriff Brown - many of his supporters who have already put up campaign signs for his reelection this November would come after the Occupation.
