Today's "Distractions" In The Former Confederate/ Border State Region

Two Victims Of The New Confederate Red Shirts Street Pirate Gang
The Street Pirate That Shot These Two Young Black Males In Their Prime:
  • Don't Give A Damn That They Are College Students Trying To Get An Education
  • Don't Give A Damn If They Were Star Football Players At The Local College
  • Don't Give A Damn If He Was To Paralyze Them And Thus They Never Walk Again
The Street Pirate JUST DON'T GIVE A DAMN
We Need To Be Looking At WHO Failed To Instill Conflict Resolution Skills In Them.
Take Away A Street Pirate's GUN But Leave Him With His Same Consciousness And He Still WON'T GIVE A DAMN,
Thus He Will Find Another Means Of Inflicting Bodily Harm Upon Anyone Who Dares To Disrespect Him

WHY AREN'T WE FOCUSING ON THOSE WHO FAILED TO "FINISH" THE STREET PIRATES
RATHER THAN ALLOWING THOSE WHO FAILED TO DISTRACT US ON A PERPETUAL "STRUGGLE"?
THE STREET PIRATE WON'T CHANGE UNTIL THE PRIMARY INFLUENCES OVER HIS CONSCIOUSNESS
DURING HIS FORMATIVE YEARS ARE MADE TO CHANGE.

Two student athletes from Western Kentucky were "taught a lesson" that they will never forget at a local club in Bowling Green.  Clearly they "disrespected" someone who had not received sufficient "Conflict Resolution Skills" as part of their rites of passage.

Unfortunately since today's "Street Pirates" version of dueling does not have the cover of "honor" that was the case during time of the American Revolution and the Civil War - when they shoot someone when they feel disrespected - this is labeled as "Another Ninja Who Got Himself Shot While Flexing".

We as a community have two choices in this matter.
  1. Point out how when the WHITE folks did the same thing these duels where seen as honorable and thus we struggle to get the news media to stop slandering our young men as exclusively violent - along the way - using the government to suppress their Second Amendment rights so they will have to find some other tool to settle their beef.
  2. Define OUR OWN community standards as to behavior and the value of life and thus introduce stronger conflict resolution mandates as a means of drawing down the violence toward a more acceptable range - thus locking up this smaller set of people who are truly violent, no longer the victims of some scheme to get them placed in jail that was at play upon their birth.   The INSTITUTIONS that surround them during their formative years being more powerful than some external scheme

Bowling Green Police say an officer happened to be driving by the Lava Lounge, a bar located near campus, when he heard gun shots at around 12:30 Sunday morning.
"There were so many people and of course, everyone was running," says Ronnie Ward, the PIO for the Bowling Green Police Department.

When police arrived, 21-year-old Tevin Holliman and 20-year-old Ricardo Singh were found with gunshot wounds.
Holliman is a defensive lineman while Singh is a defensive back for WKU's football team.
Both were taken to the hospital, but University Officials say their injuries are not life threatening.
Some students at the University are shaken up by the shooting and say, it makes them feel unsafe.
"It's pretty nuts, like when you hear about someone getting shot, you know, you're kind of afraid, you don't want to get shot yourself" says Michael Hall, a student at WKU.
"I just heard about it this morning when I got the message that WKU sent out, I didn't know them personally but it's definitely sad that we had students get hurt last night," says Duall Schutte, a student at WKU.
But another student says he's not surprised it happened at the lounge.
"I think I've heard about stuff happening over there for a while now so I don't really mess with it and I'm not really that surprised because I think that's the second shooting to happen there this year," says Trey Huddleston, a student at WKU.
Police are still trying to figure out what lead up to the shooting.
"We're not sure if there was a disturbance going on in the parking lot, that if it was a fight that ended up turning into something else, we just really don't know that exactly right now," says Ward.
Police say no arrests have been made.
