Series: As Philadelphia PA Takes On The Character Of Philadelphia MS - 2 Men Shot In The Back In Two Separate Incidents - One Dies

Philadelphia Inquirer - Man shot in back, killed in W. Philly

I grew up in West Philly and all of these street names are very familiar to me. Please note that last week there was another murder in this same community. Using "Malcolm X Park" as the reference (52nd and Pine Street - My father used to own an apartment building overlooking that same park) - this newest murder is but two blocks away from the last murder.

Sadly the mayor of Philadelphia is not likely to make the claim that the 35 year old man who was shot in the back was "assassinated".

There was a second man who was shot in the back in Philadelphia.

Police in the meantime identified another man who was shot in the back and killed in Northeast Philadelphia early Monday.
He was David Cintron, 41, of the 3100 block of Morning Glory Road, in the Northeast.
Police found him wounded on the 4200 block of Woodhaven Road. He died later at Aria Health's Torresdale campus.
Meanwhile, across the Delaware River:
