I Purchased The Book "The New Jim Crow" To See If Michelle Alexander Has Changed Her Entrenched Views As The Realities Of Increased Progressive-Fundamentalist Power Within The "Mission Accomplished Zones" Are Factored In To Her Theory

As a long time subscriber to Netflix - years ago I browsed their entire library trying to find "Black movies" to add to my queue.   I assure you that I have many that have not yet made it to the top of my queue after many years.   They keep getting bumped downward because my kids have learned how to insert what they want to see on top of my choices.

The first time that I had ever heard of Michelle Alexander and Van Jones was when I rented the movie: "The Injustice System".

This documentary was riveting to me NOT because it broke new ground in my understanding of how the system is stacked up against Black people.

Instead as I watched the movie I was stunned at the hard leftist message that was propagated with EVERYONE in the movie sipping from the same cup.

I have no fear in challenging my own set of thoughts.

Therefore, tonight -when I conducted my monthly run to the book store to purchase my line up of magazines for my "Left Wing research" - the foundation of what represents itself today as "The Black Agenda" I also purchased a copy of "The New Jim Crow" by Michelle Alexander.

Clearly since so many Black Progressive media operatives are pushing it AND since a cover photo of the book keeps appearing in the Atlanta Journal Constitution best seller list even though it is NOT the #1 book - there clearly is a coordinated attempt to market this message.

The last book that I read based on a recommendation from Prof Cornell West (as seen on C-SPAN Book TV pushing it) was "When Affirmative Action Was White".

Ironically this book turned out to be the best indictment of WHITE PROGRESSIVE RACISM and is now a fixture in my library.   It tried to make a more universal indictment of White systematic racism in "The New Deal" policies, GI Bill,  etc.   What it actually did was to document how "the White Conservative Wolf" and the White Progressive Cheshire Fox work.  

The Conservatives - as always, let it be known where they stood with regards to cutting "the Blacks" out of the deal.   It also noted that White Progressives  - aware that in order to advance the "Progressive Public Policy" (that the White Conservative was all too eager to take as well) - they had to cut Blacks out.  They promised to achieve the one mile marker for advancement and then come back around and pick up "the Blacks" to bring them forward.

With today's "Integrated Consciousness" we have Black Progressives advancing "Progressivism" knowing that "The Blacks" are going to tag along even if they are forced to silence any criticism that progressivism has taken their confidence and not delivered as promised.


I Will Read "The New Jim Crow" Not To Change MY MIND But To See If Michelle Alexander Has Changed Her Mind - With Reference To The "Favorable People In Power" Over The Criminal Justice System

Here is the deal people.
It is clear that the Progressive-Fundamentalist, above all else, needs to have control over the NARRATIVE.  From this they can render their streaming INDICTMENTS against the threats to their ideology and its unchallenged growth.

On paper the fact that:

• Philadelphia now has a Black Progressive District Attorney who not only got 50%+1 of the Black vote but was seen as "Ushering in a new day in the City of Brotherly Love" .....
• The state of California has a Black Progressive State District Attorney who is said to be "The Female Obama"
• And of course - We now have a Black Progressive US Attorney General - where in the past the Attorney General stood by Southern racists when they said "Segregation Now, Segregation Tomorrow, Segregation Forever" the present US Attorney General is seen meeting with the Civil Rights Pharisees - to assure them that he will block all "racist" Photo Voter ID laws which ask everyone for the same documentation with the knowledge that the inferior Black people will reveal themselves in a crowd and who was seen at a "Hoodie Rally" ensuring the crowd that the administration of "The First Black President" will protect the civil rights of Black people.
• Of course - "Black on Black Murder", regardless of the frequency or heinousness of the attack - will NEVER rise to the level of a 'Civil Rights Violation' even if a city who's "Homicide Clearance Rate" is less than 50% - thus favoring the murderer of Black people

.................None of these facts were integrated into the "In-Injustice System In America" as it charged that a criminal conspiracy to destroy Black people and our community institutions by incarcerating our Black males was afoot.  

With the criminal justice systems of Atlanta, Philadelphia, Newark, Detroit, Oakland, Chicago and other "Mission Accomplished Zones" being run by either Black or Progressive "Favorable People In Power" we see that the results that are called a "conspiracy" do not change.   These cities have a disproportionate rate of Black males incarcerated - just as any county in Mississippi that voted for John McCain in the same proportions that Black Americans voted for Barack Obama, all the while escaping the label of "racist" in doing so.

I Had Lunch With "The New Jim Crow" Agents Of Enforcement

This is a picture of a real world experience that I had at lunch last week.
I ventured into a local Black owned restaurant that I had been promising to go into for a while.
As I walked into the place I saw approximately 10 uniformed "security-type" personnel gathered together at a large table.

I could not determine if they were "security guards" (rent a cops) or police officers.  They had badges stitched on their garments but I could not see the name.

When they finished lunch they all walked to the front of the restaurant to pay.
"Georgia Department Of Corrections"???   Humm.

Wait a minute:

• She has a Glock
• She has a Glock 
• She has a Glock
• She has a Glock
• She is not armed at all (and Pregnant)
• He has a Glock
• She has a Glock (and she is kinda fine on top of that)
• She has a Glock
• He has a Glock (she is kinda cute as well)
• She has a Glock

These people are packing heat.
They could not be interior prison guards because they don't carry fire arms in close proximity to the inmates.  I assume they provided perimeter security of some sort.  The lady at the restaurant did not know which Georgia state prison they were associated with.

Though the mayor of Washington DC believes that his constituents are SLAVES - such rhetoric does not capture the TRUTH as it is arranged today:  BLACK PEOPLE are "AT WILL WORKERS" maintaining this so called system of "New Jim Crow" yet they also escape the  ATTACKS rendered upon Supreme Court Associate Justice Clarence Thomas for having "thrown Black people under the bus" as full operatives in the 'Racist Criminal Justice System'.

Again - the challenge to Michelle Alexander's theory is for her to explain why the "INSIDER BLACKS" (including Obama, Holder and Perez) are not aggressively turning back this repulsive system that is "constructed to destroy Black people".

My Expectations Of The Book

I go into this book - fully expecting to hear the very same hard left ideology that the movie version presented.   It is not on ME to prove that my mind can be changed.  

Instead - I will be looking out for the evidence of a MODEL that is proposed by Mrs Alexander that:

1. Acknowledges the success that the Progressive Left has had in taking dominate control over the "Human Resource Development Institutions" within the Black community
2. Acknowledges a large gap between the INVESTMENTS that the Black community made in the promise of our community salvation through VOTING and the present day circumstances
3. References any particular part on the outright attack on certain cultural institutions within the community - either by eliminating the enforcement of these values in the name of "non-discrimination" / freedom or maliciously or unintentionally disassembling certain cultural norms via the assumption that this "new day" has people who are smarter than those ancient ancestors who handed us these cultural shackles
4. Accepts some responsibility for the imposition of economic theories that ultimately failed to retain the productive / tax base producing capacity of the "Mission Accomplished Zone" - all the while attempting to save face by promoting a "NATIONALIZED social justice" meme in order to shift the indictment from its local failure
5. And finally, notes the lack of infrastructure that is presently in place to DEFEND THE BLACK COMMUNITIES INTERESTS from the POPULAR will of the people (Progressivism) if and when such POPULARITY proves time and time again to be ultimately destructive to our intersts

Most importantly, however, is the notion that the supreme point of consciousness that the Black community can reach is the awareness that the virtual ecosystem that we produce must, above all else focus on ORGANIC COMPETENCY DEVELOPMENT - where the network of institutions effectively work to build up the human resources that matriculate through the "rites of passage" are "finished" to a point where they REPLACE the current panel of adults, better equipped to take our interests closer to the desired standard of living.

The reason for this elaborate framework by which to judge "The New Jim Crow' is because I know what I am dealing with.

I staid many times before - "Progressive Fundamentalism is INORGANIC".  

It cannot occupy a space by itself lest it necessary turn into the "conservative establishment", standing against the very theoretical liberties and free will that it portends to advocate.

It needs to create "congregational unity" via struggle against an external adversary - lest it turn on itself in a lateral civil war.

The most effective and enduring amount of "Social Justice" is that which is generated most closely to the consumer of this "social justice".   

In my view the primary flow in the "New Jim Crow" theory is that it can't explain away the "Mission Accomplished Zones" - where the "red tail lights that it sees in its own windshield are reflecting from the vehicle that it is riding in, the infinite universe of progressive struggle having looped around on its own self.

I suspect that you will deny that "The Least Of These Communities" could EVER obtain a level of "establishment authority" by which most rational people would be compelled to conclude that they now have enough POWER to deliver the outcomes that they desire to CONSUME per their standard of living.  Since your theory perpetually denies that such power has been obtained - it is merely an "Establishment Power Repudiation Scheme" - all for the purposes of creating STRUGGLE and thus congregational unity.  

Tell me this - Mrs Alexander - how does the Progressive Struggle stand against ITSELF after it takes control over the "Criminal Justice System" and yet "the Black community STILL is being destroyed by the conspiracy to incarcerate Black males"?

I, unlike you, have an ANSWER. 

The trick is to add a new "Social Justice INDICTMENT" to your standard indictment against the SYSTEM.

That is - build up a set of INTERNAL STRICTURES by which that BLACK MAN who WOULD BE INCARCERATED and thus away from his family - thus the "New Jim Crow Theory" rolls on - now is CONSCIOUS of how his actions can ensnare him in the system - even as it is now run by "favorable people".   With this key resource now aware of the risks - he must be given a PURPOSE to follow.  

NOT the purpose of his commitment to FIGHT THE SYSTEM in the name of Progressivism - vowing to VOTE HARDER until victory is won.   Instead - making note of the vital part that he plays as a resource WHEN HE IS AT HOME IN HIS COMMUNITY, making sure that he is plugged into the uplift effort instead of being a threat by which the external government police men are called to protect the women of the community from.

To be clear it is not the NATIONALIZED SOCIAL JUSTICE drive that is constructing this internal infrastructure because "every American has the right to live at a minimum threshold.   To the contrary - the COMMUNITY GOAL IS to more permanently maintain that threshold and thus it REVERSE ENGINEERS the details of what EVERY ADULT within must do to retain the elevation.

My argument, with all due respect, could not be more different than you.

I ultimately make the case that the PEOPLE must align themselves accordingly OR accept that they have done all that is necessary to retain their present room temperature.
