The news of a murderer or his corrupt Defense Attorney saying what ever it takes to save his hide should not surprise anyone. This goes on all day, every day. In the issue of the murder of Trayvon Martin by George Zimmerman - THE POLICE ARE NOT SAYING THIS as the reason why they did not arrest Zimmerman yet. ZIMMERMAN is only saying this.
Just a few weeks ago when I posted about the Street Pirate who shot 3 girls in Atlanta, murdering one and paralysing the other - this after the Street Pirate's mother had begged the judge not to let her son out of jail because he is bad news - it was his DEFENSE ATTORNEY that said that his client is not guilty of shooting anyone and that IF he was in jail he wouldn't be fingered for the shootings.
Despite the fact that the Street Pirate apologized to the girl who he paralyzed - WHO WAS HIS "FRIEND" and she accepted his apology - I assure you that this fact is not going to stop his fraudulent defense attorney from making the case that his client didn't do the shooting and that the STATE must prove its case in order to render a conviction.
TRAYVON MARTIN WAS ATTACKED BY GEORGE ZIMMERMAN
With so many ulterior motives floating around this story the "third hand news" effect threatens to spoil the facts.
George Zimmerman has the right to claim anything that he wants to. Any rational district attorney will make the case that, as the aggressor, George Zimmerman ultimately provoked the incident and as Trayvon Martin who was lawfully in the location and was minding his own business received a THREAT from George Zimmerman - whatever he did to defend against the THREAT is the action that should be protected under the "Stand Your Ground" law.
Unfortunately - Zimmerman had a 9mm handgun in a battle against a 17 year old with a bag of candy in his possession.
If the Sandford Police Department has any sense about themselves they would enlist the help of the Flordia Bureau Of Investigation (or whatever they call their state investigators) and the Federal Bureau of Investigations to run voice analysis on the 911 tape to determine who was pleading for help just prior to the gun shot.
Even if there is a lack of evidence to show that George Zimmerman was pinned down by Martin and placed into a vulnerable position - he needs to be charged with at least MANSLAUGHTER because of his actions at provoking the situation.
When Black People "Stand Their Ground"
John White (in the video below) "Stood His Ground" on his own property in Long Island NY.
As a mob of teens converged upon his house as they threatened his son, Mr White, who felt threatened shot Daniel Cicciaro, 17, killing him.
Mr White's claims of self defense were ignored by the jury and he was charged with manslaughter and sentenced from 1.5 to 4 years for "Standing His Ground".
There is no doubt that the late Bishop Henry McNeal Turner wept as his call, more than 100 years ago for Black people to possess the means by which to defend themselves was rejected by the state of New York.
In another case in Long Island NY - a Black man feels threatened by a local Hispanic gang and fires a shot into the ground of his own property to ward them off. George Grier was arrested for seeking to protect his own property against Street Pirates.
Gucci Mane Stood His Ground In 2005
Rapper Gucci Mane was indicted for killing another Black man in what was thought to be a hit placed upon him by a rival "Hip Hop Voice Of The Street Pirate" rapper. Gucci argued that he fired in self-defense as several Street Pirates rushed the house that he was in with the intent to rob or kill him. The charges were later dropped by the Dekalb County Georgia District Attorney.
The Gun Control Agenda For The Black Community
I will post later about the gross irony that mass irony of having up to 20,000 people converge on Sanford Florida for a protest as they demand "Justice For Trayvon".
Within this context I am amazed at some of the statements that are being made about how much "THE LAW" as it is written is the CAUSE of so many "Black Homicides" in Florida and elsewhere. Though those who claim that this is the case indeed have varying motivations - they can't bring themselves to understand how foolish they sound as they violate many of the same arguments that they claimed that their ideological enemies are in violation of.
In the issue of abortion we are told that anyone who believes that just because abortion is legal that this will motivate a woman to terminate her pregnancy is a clown. Why is it then that when it comes to gun control and the notion that by allowing Black people to possess guns that WE going to commit "serial genocide" against our own people? I own 4 hand guns and never had the motivation or occasion to shot anyone. They can't bring themselves to look a bit more introspectively at the issue and understand the part that they play in retaining the CULTURAL CONSCIOUSNESS that produces this murder as a byproduct.
When we focus on the murderous actions of an external murderer - often charges that "the life of Black people is not respected" and "a culture of hatred and racism must be confined" is often used to bring comfort to the grieving crowd of Black people.
Unfortunately those who would otherwise be charged as co-conspirators in the perpetuation of the "culture of violence and murder" that exists in SOME PORTIONS of the Black community understand that when the murder is Black - this type of rehtoric must be tabled because it may trigger an unwanted bit of introspection.
