- I have never heard of Peter Brimelow before the conservative CPAC conference
- After the conference he will return to his previous state of unimportance to my priorities
- I therefore REFUSE to allow Brimelow or CPAC distract me from what I had on my PRIORITIES LIST
What would happen if the Black Community submitted itself to PRIORITIES and then appraised the choice to focus on a "threat" by the a threat matrix that an unsavory individual represented before acting?
Absent some defined, organized and enforced focus - there will be a Peter Brimelow identified each and every day. The result will be ---- oh wait. Where did I see the notion that I am thinking of?................................
Anyone doing a longitudinal study of "What Makes The Prevailing Black Political Consciousness Tick?" will note that it is more important to look past "WHAT OFFENDS BLACK PEOPLE PER THE PREVAILING CONSCIOUSNESS?" and instead do a "Dark Matter Analysis" in which we appraise "What SHOULD Be Offensive To Black People Per The Injury To Our Community But Is Not Reacted To As An OFFENSE Due To The Congregational Unity Enforcement That Is Transacted Within".
With all due respect to Kenneth Durden who wrote the original post (that appeared on Booker Rising) such a hyper focus on what White Conservative folks the Republicans are doing is a function of what I call "Non-White White Supremacy".
When people harvest the misdirected attention of the Black community upon external forces (on balance) as a means of avoiding transparent analysis and discussion of the affairs WITHIN THE BLACK COMMUNITY - they are saying the unspoken words to our subconscious that the affairs of White people are superior to those of our own, which go largely unmanaged as we focus on these external affairs.
Again I make the case that my position requires that everyone assume that "Black people are 100% equal" and thus we have the power to do the same good as well as the bad that those who score a perfect "1.0" on the National Urban League's "State Of Black America Report" each year.
With the scheme of distorted attention spans - our community is left with a trail of aborted development attempts and intentions
- Schools that are not preparing our children sufficiently for the task of the future high living standard
- Streets that produce the terror of assault, homicide and property crimes, none of which are labeled as "Civil Rights Violations" because they have been accepted as "background static" that comes from a high concentration of "Us".
- High rates of unengaged human resources who's value is not recognized by the market system as their primary marketers seek to have the market recognize their value while they promote messages of their inferiority while driving home the notions of equality through "social & economic justice" being obtained.
I refuse to run after yet another Transactional Indictment without first receiving acknowledgement of the macro-level problem that exists within. Absent the commitment to a framework - the "enemy" will continue to "offend" and the "Base" will continue to GALVANIZE in reaction to the "offense".
This is a year when charges of bigotry, especially racism, will fly and fall like snowflakes in Alaska.
Mr Durden:
The subject of race and racism will always be with us.
I, a Black man, have chosen to make a list of priorities of what I value and what I believe to be a threat to the interests of Black people.
With all due respect, you appear to be concerned that the "Racism Chasers" are going to see this as yet another affirmation of what they believe about their ideological enemies.
FOR ME - I make note of what the prevailing Black Press operatives are talking about and then note that they are not talking about what they compelled Black people to invest in in a grand scale in 2008, but more importantly - for more than 50 years.
We should condemn salacious racism for the purposes of division - JUST AS we need to develop a language to confront "Racism Chasing". The use of "racism chasing" as a tool compels Black people who otherwise know in their heart that the "Mission Accomplished zones" where the progressive fundamentalists dominate represent an assault upon the interests of the Black community. Instead the "racism chasers", who understand Black people know that if they place Black people in a "racially defensive posture" that this will fortify yet another voter nullification.
From where I stand today - the fusion of the 'Black Community Development Consciousness" onto the vehicle of the "American Political Domain" is the enemy of our development attempts. This creates a "team effect" that allows Black people to ignore that the methodologies, policies and people that were popularly elected has failed to change the fact that We - 13% of the population represent 50% of the homicide victims in America.
Short of someone showing me that this White bigot Brimelow has a plan to increase that number to 75% I can't bring myself to be upset over a White guy who I had never heard of prior to your post.
I assure you that over the coming weekend I will be introduced to at least 2 Black people who did not survive the weekend. This, sadly is less newsworthy to many of us than the frequent postings of what the Republicans have said about "US". I am starting to doubt that those who are offended are talking about "US" but instead are running some larger scheme.
If you don't establish a framework for MUTUAL PRIORITIZATION of the Black Interests YOU are going to find yourself being asked to cull the BIGOTS from the Republican party by those who can't see that their ideology is full of Black Inferiorists who value the fact that each of them have access to an "Equal Black ballot".
I am no more impressed by the drive to get more Blacks to vote than I am that some who were legally allowed to "own us" wanted us counted as full citizens for the purposes of the US Census where they would receive greater representation in Washington DC and more appropriations.
We need to look at what these "Black vote maximizers" do for the protection of Black people where the balance has tipped and they now have favorable people in power. The call to "protect the Progressive elected officials in power in Detroit" while ignoring how Black people's interests were molested as they crashed the city into rocks must be categorized in the same space that Mr Brimelow occupies - only worse because NO BLACKS WERE SEEN PROTESTING AGAINST THE LEADERSHIP THAT CRASHED DETROIT and other "Mission Accomplished Zones">Indeed we need a new language to model the truth that today brings to our conscious attention while many ignore it.
Brother Kenneth -
Please understand my argument. As I analyze the entire scope of our existence as American citizens and the "transactions" that come our way on a daily basis that work to manipulate all Americans and "the team" that they identify with I have identified the need for a framework through which all who are interested in developing our nation and our community (the Black community) must discipline their focus so that those who seek such manipulations do not take our people off course.
I speak to you as a Black conservative independent - in my cultural and economic awareness. As such - the latest indictment against the Republican Party as being racial insensitive is merely a charge that I place into the "American Political Domain". More yardage in the "Malcolm X Political Football Game" in which an insult and a reaction will be recognized by both teams. The functional effect on the broad Black community is that this news will simply fuse their bond to the Democratic Party as the alternative is a "racist threat".
You are a Republican. I have no choice but to respect your association. As such I understand that you have an interest in your party and your political conservative ideology to avoid outwardly taunting "Black sensibilities", the hopes being that at least a portion will some day find the threat of a Democratic Party with a monopoly control over the Black community is a greater threat than the Republicans that have sufficiently reformed themselves in their "racism".
From a historical perspective the great Fannie Lou Hamer was forced to "Keep Her Eye On The Prize" as she inserted herself in a pit of racist vipers BECAUSE she knew that the Black people of Mississippi needed political representation more than she needed to have her personal ego affirmed. The truth is that the only reason why the prevailing Black consciousness allows their "offense" against "Republican racism" shown today is because the DO have political party representation in the Democratic Party and such "outrages" foment this bond. To be sure Media Matters will make sure that this story is distributed to the "Black Progressive syndicates" and by the end of the week this "news" will be on every "Anti-Republican Political Blog Posing As A Black Political Blog".
You, sir, set yourself up in the way THEY want you as a Black Republican to do - 'MAKE YOUR PARTY CHANGE!!!! Make it LESS OFFENSIVE TO BLACK PROGRESSIVES". Win one for the Progressives.
My argument is that, INDEED there is a need for people like you who are working on the inside of political parties - as well as corporations and social clubs to have them live up to a more transparent standard. I make the case that this "transactional" level of struggle cannot stand alone, absent a view on the larger framework that I speak of.
I do not view RACISM as the end all force that Black people must destroy prior to us achieving the desired end for our community. In fact, wise practitioners who should be on the hook for receiving our confidence yet failing to develop our people fully understand that the present consciousness of the Black community place a SUPERIOR concern about what a White political adversary says about Black people than they are prone to speak out against and HOLD ACCOUNTABLE:
* Those who run Black majority schools that are failing* Those who dominate the "Criminal Justice System" yet leave our people vulnerable (against their own people)* Those who have implemented their economic theories over our community but have failed to develop a market where our human resources talent is used to provide the goods and services to our community and generate salaries.
Here is what, I believe, you don't sufficiently "get". In my term "The Black Flight Progressive" I document the observable evidence that Black progressives who have VOTED for people into positions of power, after being manipulated by the racial politics that you are speaking out against - find themselves MOVING INTO COMMUNITIES CONTROLLED BY THEIR IDEOLOGICAL ENEMIES - because after THE ENEMY that has been used by the Embedded Confidence Men to enforce "congregational unity" have departed sufficiently - they know in their heart that PROGRESSIVE FUNDAMENTALISM FAILS BLACK PEOPLE MISERABLY - when it is left all alone BY ITSELF and forced to PRODUCE ORGANIC OUTPUT via the INSTITUTIONS that it now controls.
Ironically - it is the "Civil Rights Laws" that are enforced that enable "Black Flight Progressives" to live in the communities that go against their ideological instincts. With the NAACP - they render indictments against the "racists" who refuse to allow Black kids to leave their neighborhood schools in order to sit next to "White kids" as a necessary catalyst for Black kids receiving quality education. They mask this Black inferiority by making the case for "a distributed load of POVERTY" in all schools.
This is the argument that you are missing - in my opinion. To be clear - I have no interest in your party, the Republicans, taking a stronger role in the "Black Community Consciousness", were our people shift our "Black Community Development Consciousness" from one party to the other, still remaining in the "American Political Domain" for our salvation. Beyond the foolishness of latching on to an entity that will soon be $21 trillion in debt, the lack of inventory in the COMPETENCIES that we can point to having received after our "political struggle" should indicate the folly of this outsourcing.
I am convinced that if Black people can be compelled into becoming the "special teams" in the Malcolm X Political Football Game, for the Democrats - thus looking past the failures that the one party domination has "re-gifted" our community with, the splintering of this community among two parties would lead to a civil war within.
The real problem is that the Black Political Consciousness and the larger "Black Community Development Struggle" has been purposely under-developed by people who sought easier manipulation of this vital resource. Instead of submitting themselves to the traditional mandates of transparency and forced resignation upon failure we have a consciousness which believes that without us being "thankful" for our benevolent "leaders" ....................* White racist cops would return to beating us unchecked * Black schools would be allowed to wither as they are under-resourced* White Klansmen, in the form of Tea Party operatives will be terrorizing Blacks in the streets
By "Keeping Their Enemies On Trial".........they never have to do an investigation of the failure that their FRIENDS have transacted upon the Black community.
I am not sure that a "Black Republican" can escape the "tar and feathering" that the "guilt by association" done by the Embedded Confidence Men who wish to spike the investigation will throw out at them.
My argument is that there needs to be a larger framework that ALL BLACK PEOPLE submit to. If indeed, our common goal is the development of our communities as a conduit for the development of our people then surely there are some universal targets that can be enumerated. From this commitment - the MANAGEMENT of our ascendance closer to these goals should be
Racism chasing - when done maliciously, is merely an attempt to keep Black people from asserting this regulatory control over those who we invested our confidence into.
My ultimate point for you then is to both compel your party to retire the outright racialist taunts AND demand that the Black community adopt more transparent management measures so we are not continuously "chummed".
