New Series: "There Is No Republican Opposition Tribe In Africa"

As I monitor the "self-chum feeding" that is being cast upon the Black Community - feeding it what its present consciousness desired to be fed (along with the appropriate "Soul Food Seasoning" which is full of sodium - adequately disguising the bland raw meat that its White Progressive Joint venture partners gave it to them in) I see that IF A NEW SET OF CONSCIOUS GOALS are not established for the Black Americans to focus on - we will see a "great gnashing of teeth" in the future.     Our focus on marginal gains in the "Malcolm X Political Football Game" will see "us" WINNING at what the embedded confidence men Black Leadership had guided us toward but suffering a great loss in all that once mattered to Blacks and our consciousness about ourselves. 

I am convinced that this present prevailing consciousness IS NOT GOING TO CHANGE.   It lacks the CHARACTER by which, standing by itself in a dark room, it sees its faults and the damage that it is doing to people who are following its every word, changing in the spirit of contrition. 

Last week on "Fight The Power" "Black Wing Talk Radio" I heard a noted Black historian and author that had traveled the world - tell the audience that it is imperative that Black people make a connection with Africa and other "diasporic Blacks" as the primary means of protecting ourselves against the rapidly converging world around us.

The caller that challenged him demanded " A SOLUTION" as he merely heard a "Problem Statement".  The truth is that the "Doctor" was correct in his assessment.  The caller was not looking for a "Solution".  He was looking to be given "TASKS TO FOLLOW".   

I run into this very same challenge.   I was happy that "I" - a "sold out Black conservative......who's primary passion is attacking Black leaders because I hate seeing Black people with power, preferring the comfort of White people in the lead.................."  (OK - that is what my critics say about me.  This is not what I believe I am doing).   The fact that my analysis of the need for a "connected consciousness" aligned with this well traveled Black historian and strategist was an affirmation.

Most people who demand "Solutions" (or shut up) are in truth - demanding something that they can agree with WHILE RETAINING THEIR PRESENT CONSCIOUSNESS.   

They can't see that they are already doing TASKS.   The problem is that these tasks are NOT ALIGNED with a transparent strategy for their organic development.  

They have a "Black Racial Services Machine" LEADERSHIP that have plotted out an agenda - an agenda that the Black rank & file largely agrees with.  The majority of this agenda has little to do with "Black Community Organic Development Through The INSTITUTIONS That Are Now Under Our Community's Control'.   Instead it is a "Social and Economic Justice Agenda" where AMERICA is made to live up to its vision.  This vision is AFFIRMED by the evidence of EQUAL CONSUMER ENTITLEMENT granted to everyone - with "The Blacks" standing in line for service with equal standing.

Once America achieves this point - "The Embedded Confidence Men" will change their talking points and tell the masses that it is "OK to accept America".  

We have already seen that the venerated figure of "President Barack Obama" on stage can compel Black people to violation the institutional integrity that once stood as a skeptical check upon the US Federal government and its agenda.  This points to the fact that "Popular Acceptance" CANNOT be the final arbiter of justice.  (We learned from the days when slavery was popularly accepted - right?)

The present drive for "Black Unity" (Congregational Unity) is subordinate to the need for a sound foundation of purpose AND the mechanisms by which the effectiveness of the movement is measured over time - purging those who who failed so that their messages and ideas that accompanied them".

The present void in governing architecture - separate and distinct from the "American Political Domain" (and or not driven by "Racism Chasing") places our community at a great disadvantage when it comes to instilling organic change from within, as our people aspire to make absolute gains through an effective strategy for improvement.

I believe I know why you were hired by MSNBC/The Grio.
Please perform this exercise - for your own conscious cleansing purposes.
Draw a line and affix the "Left / Right" labels on each extreme as you will.   Then draw a box that encapsulates the range where the Black Community resides on this scale.   Then draw a box of a different color where YOU reside.  Then draw a third box representing Obama.
The next step that I ask you to do is to TEAR UP THAT PIECE OF PAPER and then walk the streets of "Black America" and then look at the important data points that represent our present state of economics, academics, criminal victimization, condition of health, social standing (marriage, etc)
The sad fact, Mr Bacon, is that you are so into POLITICS and the "Malcolm X Political Football Game" that you clearly have LOST your way in reference to what our people original entered the "American Political Domain" to obtain a certain baseline for living.
Do you find it ironic, sir, that in order to advance your advocacy for Obama and the Progressive Democratic establishment you necessarily have to DEMOTE all discussions about THE STATE OF THE BLACK COMMUNITY?
You instead report from the perspective of the POPULAR SENTIMENTS OF BLACK PEOPLE.  As such you and your content contributing buddies never dare challenge many of the assumptions that Black people have in abundance - attempting to explain many of our long running, unmitigated PROBLEMS as a consequence of this misalignment.
Let's be honest, Mr Bacon (and Ms Reid and Mr Love and Mr Wilson) your agenda IS to profit off of this MISALIGNMENT of the Black Community's conscious focus BECAUSE this focus is exactly where you want it to be - advancing Progressive Public Policy - the material and absolute increase of our community's organic competencies as produced through our COMMUNITY INSTITUTIONS be damned.
How do you all explain today's reality where - after producing the "Progressive Take Over" of all of the LOCAL INSTITUTIONS - as promoted by Bayard Rustin more than 45 years ago - instead of turning toward this "BLACK AGENDA" and scrutinizing it for its EFFICACY - you instead use these institutions and their failure to build up our people as CAUSE to drive your progressive-fundamentalist agenda into further rungs into the government hierarchy?
Tell me, Mr Bacon - WHEN do you stop becoming an agent/operative and instead begin to INSPECT what you are selling?   Does YOUR "Black Consciousness" and will to protect our community interests stand separate and distinct from YOU - the "Political Operative"?
Is there any point where you see the investments of the "Equal Black Ballots" and "Black Community Development Consciousness" - fused to the Democratic Party - has reached a point that is SUFFICIENT for you to expect to see ORGANIC GROWTH within our people?
To be honest with you, sir, I don't believe that you or your co-workers have any such reference within you.    No Black Journalist has scrolled by to what they sold us back in 2008 (let alone since 1964) and made a transparent analysis of what was PURCHASED.
Most are part of the same sales team.
Since you are giving the Black community what it POPULARLY wants - no one ever gets fired for failing the Black community as a progressive.   But is this HELPING to improve the management competencies of our community?   Worst of all - does it prepare us for being ALL ALONE - possibly transplanting these competencies in other Black diasporatic places?
