I mistakenly labeled the picture of the Street Pirate Murderer - Anthony Moore as Dustin Graham - the victim.
There was no malice intended to the family. This was an oversight. Please accept my apologies.
I was looking at the text above the picture which described Grant but failed to look closely enough at the label of the picture below which what that of the Street Pirate Murderer Anthony Moore.
Timothy Bostic was the second man shot by 17 year old Anthony Moore.
My agenda for the original post was to show that the Georgia NAACP and Ebeneezer Baptist Church of Atlanta spend too much time scaring Black people on the notion that our "civil rights" might be turned back to the state they were 100 years ago and on stopping "State Sponsored Executions" when the more clear and present danger are the 'Street Pirate Sponsored Executions" that happen frequently, thus they are not motivated to drive down to Savannah for a protest rally against Street Pirates.
As they make outward indictments they can't see that society and justice has change because 70 years ago the notation that a White man was murdered by a Black man in Mississippi, Georgia or many other states would have triggered the type of "extra-judicial" actions that they originally founding the "Civil Rights Movement" as a means of allowing a "jury of one's own peers" to decide guilt or innocence.
Savannah Police Chief Lovett Speaks About City's Crime Statistics
According to the numbers, 2011 was the second best year in department history. Even though violent crimes were up 4.2 percent from 2010, they are on a downward trend, according to SCMPD. It's the second lowest since 1979, when South side was annexed.
Among many concerns, Lovett said juveniles are committing more crimes, but police are unable to catch them and or detain them. He's asking the city of Savannah for five more juvenile officers to compliment the five current officers.
Lovett is also upset that violent offenders are incarcerated and many times out on the street before officers can even finish the paperwork.
