When I was sitting in a public area with my wife yesterday our discussion attracted the ears and subtle glances of a few Black people who were sitting within earshot.
As she peered at the article that I was reading about the "Civil Rights Protests" about the "Math Slavery Homework Assignment" - she had a different take on the issue.
As I explained my position I noted that while indeed this was inappropriate content and the school system needs to institute control policies to ensure that this does not happen again - sparing them of embarrassment - we can't merely look at this incident in a self-contained manner.
I listed all of our family friends that have exited Dekalb and moved up to Gwinnett in pursuit of quality education for their (Black) kids. My intention was to put the "Civil Rights Pharisees" on trail. From my view there needs to be an appraisal of the value, threat level and of course AGENDA of the people who are up in arms over this issue. I pointed to the recent "Atlanta Cheating Scandal" and how they rejected the notion that teachers should be fired for (allegedly) orchestrating the changing of test answers to improve the scores of their students and thus the school.
She disagreed. "No darling. Those are different issues......... The slavery incident is not related to the other incidents".
It should come as no surprise to you that when it comes to my argument about Obama and the "Black Racial Services Machine" that work as a unit - she also is of the belief that Obama should be judged as "President" and not as a "machine".
From this exchange I was made to understand the importance of:
- A written argument that stands alone, encompassing the entire set of issues - and thus is not subject to the "theatrics" that a spoken debate brings to bear - manipulating public opinion of the 'gawker'
- Make use of FRAMEWORKS - where you start off with the OBJECTIVE and then allow all of the "transactions" that come our way to be understood via this framework
- The model/framework should be updated/corrected if the stream of information from the real world don't fit within
One need not be in IDEOLOGICAL agreement with me to agree with a transparent model of the real world that we all submit to.
THE ACADEMIC EDIFICATION OF BLACK CHILDREN SO THAT THEY WILL BE PREPARED TO ASSUME THE 'PROFESSIONAL SERVICES ROLES' THAT OUR COMMUNITY NEEDS TO LIVE UP TO A DESIRED STANDARD OF LIVING
- Take away the latest news from the School Board meeting
- Look past the campaign signs for School Board candidates
- Forget about the latest redistricting plan
- Put aside the Teacher's Unions
- Above the discussion of Charter schools..............................................
We MUST AGREE that the measure of the EFFECTIVENESS of our aggregate actions is found, broadly in the question: "Are Our Children Transformed In Line With Our Community Needs After Matriculating Through the INSTITUTIONS Within Our Community?"
If we can't agree with this point - please go on to a more favorable blog that is in line with your present consciousness.
FOR ME - my present inspection of those operative forces that have the most confidence of and influence over our people is because, in my opinion, they have abdicated this fundamental calling.
They TOO POWER over these "Human Resource Development Institutions" for our Black children yet the promised of the benefit that we would receive have not materialized.
In my opinion again, I make the case that they have a predispotion to acquire an increasing amount of "externalities" in an effort to explain their shortcomings - all for the purposes of continuing in their present seat of power. If you convince yourself that you were "walking down the street, doing the right things to advance, minding your own business".......and were MUGGED then there is a legitimate grievance to go focus on the "mugger", thus evading inspection of the "heading and velocity" of the journey that you had been on.
I believe that ideological assumptions on what government should do (the varying rungs of government particularly) drives much of this.
Once again - the "Struggle" is to get 'Favorable People Into Power" over the local "Human Resource Development Institutions". Upon achieving this goal - BY ALL MEASURES - this same "machine" that seeks SELF-PERPETUATION has a motivation to define why they fell short of their mission RESULTS.
It stands to reason that "The Machine" can never be allowed to do "Self-Breast Exams" as they are as self-serving as all others. It is the 'Black Rank & File" that MUST define and enforce their organizational distinction from these "Executives/Representatives" lest they continue to "VOTE.........when it against their interests to keep voting".
This is the present organizational failure for the Black Community. The network of "Embedded Confidence Men" take advantage of the void in governance and transparency within.
This is an important basis for my observations of the antics of the Georgia/South Carolina/North Carolina NAACP and associated "Fight The Power" forces.
In their view the source of "Quality Education For Black People" both RESIDES presently outside of the domain of control of the Black Community and as such requires "integration" with the large society in order to achieve it AND this quality is being SUPPRESSED as RACISM(!!!!) systematically denies us access to what is rightfully ours per the tenets of "Nationalized Social Justice".
This theory "operationalizes" as a constant struggle OUTSIDE OF the Black community - demanding "equal resources" from a higher rung of government AND seeks to protect the "chosen representatives". These representatives were of the people's choosing AND they benefit from the protection racket operated by the people.
Scrutinizing The Consciousness
Take another look at the last paragraph.
Would it be surprising if I told you that it has little to do with the actual attainment of a state of "Quality Education For Black People" but instead functions as a "Power Base" and the necessary "Congregational Unity" that is needed to protect the power?
Indeed it has been said that the 'Black School Student" is the biggest PAWN in America. Those who say this often fail to see that they too are sitting at the chess board.
Logic tells you that:
- IF "Education Is The Great Equalizer"
- IF the system wishes to destroy you because of your race
- IF those who you ask for "equal resources" are also your competitors for jobs and resources
- IF your desired standard of living among your people is a function of their education...........
We should be suspicious of those who have an outward, expansionary focus on procuring these resources as they show a pattern of failure to deliver when they control the "community educational resources" - or as I call them "The Mission Accomplished School Systems".
Yes we hear them talk about "service projects" where they visit the schools and "reconnect" with the children. I TOO do this.
After spending 3 years in a "reading program for Black boys" and never seeing any of their fathers dropping them off or picking them up (only mothers, sisters or older brothers) I understood that while this program is the "right motion" it FAILS when measured for "Comprehensiveness and Scale".
I fully understand the "planting the seed" concept. When those of us who are "responsible" (the Talented Tenth) are told "what WE must do to be in good standing with our race" but those other "Equal Human Beings" are not believed to be as competent in holding such responsibility - there is a problem with the assumptions.
Fayette County Georgia Versus The NAACP
None of the above was a unrelated ramble. It is important that we understand what is going on in aggregate before agreeing to acquiesce in agreement with the latest transaction.
Fayette County - the majority White, Republican dominated county to the south of Clayton County and Fulton County runs both its "School Board" and "County Board" on an "At Large Voting" system. Even though they have their county partitioned into districts - every resident of the county gets to vote for the representative of all districts.
According to the rules of the federal government - this "at large voting system" is banned as it has a suppressive effect on minority voting. The majority Black northern Fayette County, for example, desires to put "one of their own" onto the school board and county board. Since Blacks only are 20% of the voting population the rest of the county can effectively "overrule" the minority.
If we look at this TRANSACTIONALLY - only a bigot would say "This is fair." (In addition to making a comment about those's N-words).
I AM NOT BIGOT - I AM WATCHING THE IDEOLOGICAL BIGOTS OPERATE.
The reason why my wife's view of "one transaction" at a time fails is because such a view allows the person to get trapped in a "discrete judgment" - just as the Joe Madison question of Tavis Smiley in my other post succeeds at doing.
The proper inspection is to contrast Fayette County Georgia with Clayton County Georgia and note WHICH HAS MORE SUCCESS IN EDUCATING BLACK CHILDREN?
You see - I say again - The NAACP did not sue "Clayton, Dekalb and Atlanta" when the dysfunction in their school systems did material damage to Black children. We an assume that the "Favorable People In Power" of all of these districts makes the NAACP and those who think like them quite content.
In fact look at the argument made against Fayette County's "All At-Large" system - "It prevents the Black minority from ELECTING THEIR CHOICE INTO POWER".
(You all will have to excuse me on this next passage).
If we look at the RESULTS in pursuit of our GOAL - "The Actual Receipt Of QUALITY EDUCATION FOR BLACK CHILDREN" - should we assume that:
- The Black Community
- In Our PRESENT CONSCIOUSNESS
- With The Present Void In Institutional Controls
- IS PRESENTLY POSITIONED TO BRING TO FRUITION AN ECOSYSTEM THAT PRODUCES "QUALITY EDUCATION FOR BLACK CHILDREN"?
You see - this would be called a "Self-Hating" statement on Fight The Power Black Wing Talk radio.
They have the liberty to tell their audience "Some of you all need help" or ask the question "Does the Black community need some sort of psychological help in order to assist us with coping with what we hear everyday from our own people."
I have the AUDACITY to apply this notion that they have already affirmed - to a live issue that we are struggling with.
Now the NAACP of North Carolina is able to say the very same thing but in a "face saving" manner as they present a "strong front". When they make the case in Chatham County and Meklenberg County that "all schools should be made to share the EQUAL BURDEN OF BLACK KIDS POVERTY" their marketing spin seeks to place the indictment on "Societal Inequality".
MISSING within their discussion is any question of the priority and economic choices made by the Black community in a longitudinal fashion. I'll say it again - IF YOU are walking down the street, doing the right thing, minding your own business and get mugged - you are made the victim. The injury that you suffer, as compared to others is a function of the mugging.
The NAACP recently had their former "Fayette County chapter" president elected to the Fayette County Board. We will see if the second lawsuit against the County Board will be retained now that they "got what they want".
I maintain my question of the NAACP: IF this is all about "electoral technicalities" - WHAT is your position about the "Mission Accomplished areas" of Clayton County, (South) Fulton County, Atlanta and Dekalb?
It is clear that your agenda has you mistaking the PRESENCE OF 'FAVORABLE FACES IN POWER' with the notion of 'BLACK COMMUNITY BENEFIT".
We only need to flip this claim on its head and note that:
- The places where Black uplift is failed by the academic institutions
- The places where Black people are murdered the most
- The places where Black people have the highest unemployment rates
Are the very same places where A LAWSUIT BY THE NAACP won't change anything about the CONDITION OF BLACK PEOPLE.
The NAACP would prefer to "work out their grievances in a conference room" so the elected official that they put into power is not embarrassed publicly. This makes the seating charts at the "NAACP Awards Banquet" easier. When two fighting officials are placed at the same table - dishes may fly.
As a long time resident of Fayette County Georgia I have witnessed what I call "Black Flight Progressivism". Blacks who are in "good standing" per their ideology and voting patterns have been compelled to exit the areas where they were critical resources in "the victory" of Progressive Public Policy.
After "the enemy" was gone and "favorable people" took over the institutions - the future "Black Flight Progressives" hit a snag. Just as the "White Progressive Cheshire Fox" is able to hide his contempt behind the more boisterous "White Conservative Wolf" - the future "Black Flight Progressive" understood at the time that even though he was "down with the struggle" - the prevailing order of the political boundary in question was run by "the enemy's standards".
When the boundary tipped into that of "Mission Accomplishment" - the "Black Flight Progressive" now stood face to face with what he had created. HIS FAMILY and his PERSONAL INTERESTS now were subject to this new order. (NOTE: THERE IS NO "BLACKNESS" associated with this. THIS IS ALL IDEOLOGICAL BIGOTRY - where 'Blackness' is merely used as a vector for indictment. To be sure Progressive-Fundamentalism is the common reference regardless of their color.)
Fast forward 20 years and now the once "lily White" Fayette County GA - which had received the "run off" (of White folks) from Clayton County is now the happy home to an increasing number of Black people.
I am not opposed to Black people taking the benefit of the CIVIL RIGHTS LAWS that I TOO USE for my present benefit and protection. The "Progressives" should be applauded for codifying such rights into the governance of this country. You get no argument from me.
It is clear, however, that will all of the low hanging fruit gone - they have no (recognized) cost in continuing their antics. Each passing year they are forced to draw upon more marginal issues:
- Voter ID = "Poll Tax" = BLACK Voter Suppression (because Black folks don't have IDs)
- "The Bulk Of The Opposition Against The President Of The United States is due to RACISM"
- (Someone needs to do a counter of how many times Black Wing Talk Radio says on a daily basis - "They don't like him for no other reason than he is Black". "They oppose his policies because he is Black", "They don't want a Black family in the White House".
- They pretend that their AFFIRMING BIGOTRY where are made to LOOK PAST the present condition of the Black Community - not after 3 years of Obama but after 50 YEARS OF THE "Black Racial Services Machine" UPLIFT has caused us to expend a lot of EMOTION and VOTES but no progress - or at least this is what Dr Boyce Watkins said himself. He is far more credible than I am - or so I hear.
- Redistricting that recognizes SUCCESS in some regions while also noting the FAILURE to produce OPPORTUNITY in other areas that have seen an exodus should have "Minority Majority Voting Districts" carved out
If we look at Newark New Jersey or Philadelphia PA where no Black votes go molested by any "Voter Suppressing Republican" - despite having the machine that they want in power - the "Equal Black Ballot" is IMPOTENT in its ability to provide for the UPLIFT OF BLACK PEOPLE within the POLITICAL BOUNDARY IN QUESTION.
Again - The NAACP can't "sue" to compel those they put into power to deliver.

The only thing that is left for those who maintain this consciousness to do is to point to the "State Republicans" and make the case that THEY have violated the shared social contract known as "Nationalized Social Justice", knowing that no one in the congregation is going to remind the leadership about the promises made which triggered their vote and their confidence in "The Struggle".
Watching The Civil Rights Pharisees
As I watch the "angry and resolute Black folks" holding up signs that say "We Want Free!!" at the latest social media sponsored event - the one thing that makes me content as I look through their ceremonial gathering is that the ultimate contentment that they seek is INSIDE OF THEM but never to be found until THEY CHANGE.
They have mastered "Pulling Black People Forward" into "The Struggle" that we are to engage in.They have mastered having Black people put up a defensive shield against attacks from the outside.
They know how to give each other "a pat on the back" for showing up at their self-sponsored event - knowing that no one will ask about it in terms of PROPORTION of the problem that exists.
The only thing that they are SEEKING but will not find until they are willing to change is the INNER PEACE that comes from the knowledge that the INDIVIDUAL in a community is a product of his immediate environment and that those among them who have morphed into a form that is askew to the community's present needs is providing CONSTRUCTIVE FEEDBACK on the CALIBER OF THEIR OWN ANTICS in creating the community that they desire.
SOME 'VICTORIES' ARE NOT "WINS" FOR THE INTEGRITY OF THE BLACK COMMUNITY
If the majority of the transplants were truthful - They MOVED among their conservative enemies in the hopes that their prized possession on the left hand side of the picture above would be made into the image in the upper right hand and not suffer the fate of the lower right hand.

- One was shot by Street Pirates that followed him to his Fayette home from a club in Fulton
- The other was shot at a house party in his home in North Fayette by youths from Fulton that got into a gun fight
