I have come from believing this to be "junk science" - since physical and mental oppression is not transferable between generations - over to my present understanding that it is not the physical experience of slavery that is necessary but the constant rationalization of TODAY'S events from the perspective of our ancestors who WERE ENSLAVED.
Again - it is well known that an elephant calf is trained by placing a large chain upon its neck and then placing a stake into the ground. After weeks of tugging against this tether - this creature that will lager grow into the most powerful land animal that is known to man - will begin to RESPECT the power of this chain.
Fast forward to when the calf becomes an adult bull. That same chain that once confined him is now a mere string of paper clips relative to the power that this bull has to pop it. Unfortunately the mental conditioning that he has makes it so that as soon as he feels the tension upon his neck - he understands that he has reached the limits of the perimeter that his owner has set up for it to travel.
The problem that I have with this synopsis is that - again - this is not transferable between generations. The chain must be placed upon all preceding generations of elephant calves and he must learn from his own experiences with the chain.
What people can't accept is that the MESSAGES BANTERED UPON their "Negro Though Group" as a means of maintaining "Congregational Complicity" and group mental satisfaction IS THE CHAIN.
That which is hoisted up as a "libation ceremony" to our ancestors is, in truth a fraudulent attempt to latch onto "Negro grievances", the show host providing a platform for their gathering.
Imagine If A Physician Told A Black Patient What They Routinely Tell Themselves
The only way to understand what is frequently heard among Black folks (talking publicly on a White owned radio station who's broadcast signal is now International because it is feed upon the Internet) is to set up a necessary parallel.
A Black patient returns to her doctor after originally going to him 5 years ago in regards to an ailment that causes her chronic pain. After all of these years after which she:
- Searched the doctor out because he was a noted specialist with board certification
- Stripped naked in front of the doctor in support of a full physical and mental exam
- Accepted the prognosis of this physician because of the assumed expertise
- Purchased the battery of drugs and medical devices per the prescription
- Loyally followed the regime for 5 years with bi-annual "booster shots" as recomended
PATIENT - "Dr Silverstein - I loyally followed what you told me would be a cure for my pain but it is more intense as the first day I came into your office".
PHYSICIAN - "You Blacks as a group ALWAYS are most susceptible to chronic pain. You should not be surprised at the results of the treatment that I recommended for you. A new batch of drugs will be coming in next week in support of your refill. Please do not give up on the treatment procedure that I have set you upon. If you stop your treatment the pharmacy that I have a financial interest in will receive financial harm".
Can we all agree that if a Black patient experienced this scenario that the next "Professional Service Agent" that would be procured would be a trained attorney in pursuit of a malpractice lawsuit?
The only problem with the real world scenario is that THE PREVAILING BLACK CONSCIOUSNESS IS THE PHYSICIAN!!!!! There is a bunch of self-serving, self-diagnosis that goes on. It would be called "Insider Trading" if done by real world corporations upon its customers.
When it comes to the discussion of where the Black community presently stands in relation to the "Investments in support of our Community Development Consciousness" - when our "Community 401K Statement" is pulled out - by congregational agreement - we hear "Blacks have ALWAYS registered a lack of RETURN ON INVESTMENT".
This sentiment can ONLY come from the mind of a person who has an "INSIDER TRADING" relationship with the entity that has provided the treatment. In the process of coping with the failure of the treatment, these words are necessary in the process of mental acceptance of these facts.
It helps the individual to shift his present circumstances away from the "SALVATION PROCEDURE" that was willingly indulged in over to the realities of THE SYSTEM within which Blacks must struggle against.
Instead of the patient who's body is still riddled with pain promoting her own PERMANENT INTERESTS in becoming pain free after dutifully following what was prescribed to her - she is now made to "grin and bear it" - as the routine that she as a physician prescribed to herself.
SHE HERSELF IS DR SILVERSTEIN!!!!
For her to file a malpractice lawsuit she would have to sue herself.
The money paid in the successful prosecution would travel from one hand of her body to the other hand.
With this "insider trading" being the case - it is more rational for Dr Silverstein to "self-prescribe" another round of treatments for herself.
Until she is willing to acknowledge the need for:
- Separation between PATIENT and SERVICE PROVIDER
- That the outside help of a neutral third party regulator is necessary for "self-indulgence" to be refrained from
This PAIN provides her as a physician addition work in the future - even if it is in treatment of herself.
