In the "Groundhog Day" of Progressive Politics - each generation of young people come along and hear promises from "favorable elected officials" to make things better if they stay united in struggle. Few of of the content providers in the Progressive media bother to bring up the video tape from the past which would challenge them to actually deliver upon the investments that our community has made in their cause. Instead, among progressives- it is a more rational rebuttal for them to ask "Show us a better (conservative) alternative and we will follow". To me this is akin to a physician receiving the complains of a long term care patient who dutifully paid for and ingested each prescription assigned to them by the professional they entrusted their care to and throwing the criticism back as them - saying "If you are smarter than me - why don't YOU pick a better drug that is going to heal you and I will write the prescription".
The hypothetical above shows the problem that we as a community face - the Black Racial Services Machine that serves as the overlay force of the "prevailing Black Consciousness" is:
- The Infirmed Patient Who Suffers Pain
- The Physician Who Prescribes The Concoction That Is To Heal Himself
- The Distributor Of The Drug That He Ingests In His Own Body - Per The Joint Venture Partnership That He Receives Kickbacks From The Pharmaceutical Corporation For All Drugs Sold
- AND Ultimately The End Point Of The Above Supply Chain Who Must "Grin And Bear It" With The Pain That He Continues To Suffer BECAUSE By Admitting That Is Own Body Is In Pain Would Cause The Fiscal Collapse Of All Of Operatives Itemized Above
(Note: I am not violating my ban on the use of "slave references" with Black people. I am only making a point with the following)
In Key West Florida is a placard recognizing a Black man named Sandy Cornish. (1793 - 1869)
Mr Cornish had escaped the bondage of slavery in Louisiana, escaping to Florida to live his life as a free man. After years of relative prosperity Mr Cornish was confronted by bounty hunters who sought to return him into the prison of chattel slavery.
As a sentient being Mr Cornish understood the savagery of slavery and vowed to never be taken alive back to Louisiana. As an "equal human being" and not a "farm animal" Mr Cornish reasoned that if he could render himself worthless as a "beast of burden" these men who had perverted the will of God which crafted Cornish and other people who look like him as "common animals".
Cornish picked up a knife and then cut his bicep/triceps in his arm, rendering him useless as a "laborer". His desperate choice to have the presence of mind to SELF-DEPRECIATE his own value with this injury allowed him to become a FREE MAN.
Take a step back and apply this level of consciousness that his desperation forced upon him at that time and place in America's past.
NOW fast forward to TO-DAMNED-DAY!!!!
The Hijacked Black Consciousness That Self-Depreciates The Capabilities Of "The Least Of These" To Grow Their People Through The Institutions That They Now Control
Simply put - the antics of the "Malcolm X Political Football Game" that Black people are now allowed into as starters has worked to systematically abstract that which is collectively done on the football field of "American Politics" from the hopes, wants and dreams that remain unfilled on the streets of Black America.
This conscious condition is such that the quest to "fix our behavior on our streets between each other", "fix our schools once the front door is closed and there is nothing but US within", "fix our familial relationships between ourselves at home", "fix the flow of goods and serves in {fill in the blank} deserts of our community" are all relegated into the domain of POLITICS.
The carrot that is dangled to lead us forward and the "red meat" with the popular enemies face upon it that is noted to trigger an attack - are all carefully induced trinkets that are known to trigger predictable responses among "the Negro" - who holds a given consciousness - just as the forces holding the sticks and strings know about us.

To hear that the City of Chicago - the archetype of the "Mission Accomplished City" after having run out of power the popular enemy of the Black Progressive-Fundamentalist - yet has many communities where the Mayor would not dear live AND which 180,000 Black people have vacated from in the last 10 years - WOULD CAUSE an otherwise rational Black man to do what Sandy Cornish did to save himself: MAKE AN INCISION, separating the consciousness that lead them to their present place from the new consciousness that is needed for a future that is different.
As I look back at my own personal growth I was forced to see that certain thoughts and rationalzations that seemed perfectly sound in my mind of 20 years ago turned out to be irrational and unsustainable choices. TIME revealed this and I was forced to CHANGE if my desire was for a different set of outcomes.
When it comes to the prevailing forces that manipulate the Black Community's priorities - the news that despite the grand take over of political power in Chicago and elsewhere and the evidence of a unified "Black congregation" provides these forces (the "Black Racial Service Machine" ) to overcome the squandered results that would have otherwise resulted in remove if some other body of leadership had racked up the same results.
Through a network of "insider trading" and self propaganda they survive any crisis or "pneumonia" that Black America suffers. The primary agent allowing them to do so is what I have called "Establishment Authority Repudiation".
With the tactic of "E.A.R." - if the congregation mutually agrees that their powers are too inferior to have them held accountable for the results that THEY rendered upon the patient - THEMSELVES - then this circular reference that is maintained by mutual consent allows them to remain unscathed from the damage as they ratchet their blame upon an EXTERNAL threat which they all can unify behind as "The Problem".
