Rev Joseph Lowery Told Us That By Placing  "Civil Rights Heroes Names" Upon Our Streets And Buildings......The Community's Consciousness Would Be Uplifted.     We Now See That This Was Empty Idol Worship And That It Is Now Time To Go To The Funeral Parlors And Have Them To Sponsor Some "Martin Luther King Jr Paddles" In Order To Enforce The RESPECT Within Our Community

Great Schools.net Ratings Of Stephenson & King High Schools In Lithonia GA

It is true that there is a high proportion of Black people that are murdered or assaulted on Atlanta streets named after "Civil Rights heroes".   In this case the "Street Pirates" DON'T GIVE A DAMN about the Civil Rights movement because they weren't raised right and no one forced them to read about it.

In the case of "Stephenson High School" and "Martin Luther King Jr High School" in Dekalb County Georgia to the east of Atlanta - these are middle class Black kids doing a prank and not "Street Pirates".

Regardless - it is hard to accept that with all of the enforced reverence of Dr King - a group of students in a school named after him would use his initials to vandalize the school buses of their football rivals without noting the irony of their actions.

Clearly there is a grave loss of conscious connection in what they are doing.  They have become too comfortable as the adults in their community have failed to ground them appropriate.  I am speaking only about the limited few kids who took actually did the act.
