These videos mandate some accompanying analysis because some people, in their present consciousness, will conclude the 100% wrong conclusion.
Upon seeing the various schemes used to systematically obtain control of land from Native Americans by the early European settlers to North America - they will use this information to find connectedness with their advocacy today for more comprehensive government regulation.
The first video shows how the balance of power was tipped from the Native Americans over to the European settlers. In an effort to prove that his tribe had no intended malice against the settlers they yielded their weapons to the government of the settlers. This set the stage for their slaughter later on as the relationship between the two groups soured and an armed conflict ensued.
In relation to the present day Black community - the drive to yield our weapons is due to the fact that the the "community defense" consciousness that was present during the time of Bishop Henry McNeal Turner is today used too often as a tool for "personal protection" in the context of a criminal action. Instead of "protecting the community" they are used far too often to terrorize the community at the hands of a person with a skewed community consciousness.
The second video ties together what another segment of the video (not shown) had documented. As the Native Americans altered their culture in the "cultural exchange" with the European Settlers their changed food consumption habits, lifestyle habits and exposure to microbial agents that their immune systems were not attuned to make an increasing number of them sickly. They began to yield their organic medicinal remedies as their changed lifestyle made them increasingly ineffective.
The European settlers sought LAND for payment of their medical services rendered.
Again - in the present consciousness some will say that "The Universal Health Care" will make sure that no one loses their land or goes bankrupt in pursuit of health care.
What this fails to note is that the failure to attune your lifestyle and dietary habits to that of "healthy living" is what has provoked the increased need for health care.
The more accurate moral of the story is that it is necessary to align your aggregate lifestyle choices in line with "healthy living" and then reduce your exposure of what you must depend upon other people to fund on your behalf. They control you through this dependency.
