Detroit Free Press - "Living With Murder Series"

Though I am often critical of some operatives within the "mainstream media" I still maintain that: Without the continued operation of the local print newspaper and the local television news beat reporter - THE BLACK COMMUNITY WOULD BE SCREWED!!! I credit these forces with the ability to apply transparency in discussing the problems WITHIN the Black Community that the embedded powers seek to sweep under the rug. Similarly in various "Mission Accomplished Cities" the local media is the only force that can break through the functional protection racket that the "Black Racial Services Machine" so frequently provide for their elected friends - ALL AT THE EXPENSE OF THE BLACK RANK AND FILE. I am forced to blame the "Black Rank & File" because in their quest to go along with the events on the political field of play they too often fail to enforce the integrity the key points that the Black community entered into politics to mitigate. In the case of the article below the permanent issue of "Safe Streets" has been brought to the forefront by the Detroit Free Press. They deserve a hat tip as the majority of the victims of homicide in Detroit are Black and the majority of the operatives who are attempting to sweep this problem under the rug in their protection rack are Black as well.

The Black Community has reached an "A Time To Kill" Moment.
"What If The KLAN Was Killing Black People As Are 'Street Pirates Who Are Black' Today?"

In the movie "A Time To Kill" it took similar words from the defense attorney character played by Matthew McConaughey to shake up the BIGOTS in the "All White Jury" - as he compelled them to see the humanity in the grief felt by a father who's daughter was molested and beaten by a group of White "Dirt Road Pirates" in the pre-Civil Rights South.    What people can't seem to get in the case of the unchecked "Street Pirate On Black Murder Rate" - with Black people being 100% equal to Whites it is also BIGOTRY that places a silencer over the mouth of the "Civil Rights Pharisees" who can't bring themselves to see the equality of the "Street Pirate Who Is Black" with a White killer who produces the very same results - "A Dead Black Man".

The statistics don't tell the whole story. Or do they?
From January 2003 through Nov. 6, 2011, 3,313 lives were lost to homicide in Detroit.
In 2010, Detroit had the highest homicide rate among the nation's 25 biggest cities — 43 people killed for every 100,000 residents. The 2011 rate is trending at more than 50.

While the murder count of 3,313 registered in just one city between the beginning of 2003 through to Nov 6 of this year seem compelling - these 3,313 murders will remain INFERIOR to the total count of LYNCHINGS that occurred in this entire nation from the Reconstruction Period at the end of the US Civil War until the end of the "Civil Rights Movement - 3,446 Black people.

The Tuskegee Institute has recorded 3,446 blacks and 1,297 whites were lynched between 1882 and 1968.^[1] Southern states created new constitutions between 1890 and 1910, with provisions that effectively disfranchised most blacks, as well as many poor whites. People who did not vote were excluded from serving on juries, and most blacks were shut out of the official political system.

The most painful part for me as a Black man who is doing a longitudinal study on "What makes the present prevailing Black Political Consciousness Tick?" is that I know that the last part of the Wikipedia entry above about VOTER SUPPRESSION is a more attractive target to the "Civil Rights Pharisees" of today than the fact that the first part of the sentence clearly shows that IN JUST ONE CITY - more Blacks were murdered in a (roughly) 8 year span in these modern days than were lynched at the hands of White racists in the entire nation in a 86 year span at a time before we as a people acquired our Civil Rights and had the government officials working against our interests.

How Did This Happen?

While some believe that "you catch more flies with sugar than with vinegar" - they can't accept that the past that showed Black people how to deal with BIGOTS with a firm and resolute manner is still the case when the BIGOTS are encamped within the Black community.  

They have in common the goal of RETAINING and GROWING their institutional power.  The evidence of "A Few Ninja's That Got Themselves Kilt" is not reason enough for them to change if it means a loss of power.

The city of Detroit is merely a metaphor for the loss of community consciousness that we as a people suffer as the "Malcolm X Political Football Game" now is the dominate "community mobilization force".

With Detroit.....................

• As the murder capital of America - the majority of the numbers representing Black people
• The school system failing to educate our children
• The city having reached the state of insolvency and thus not able to provide a firm economic foundation

...............one is forced to ask how this direct assault upon the Black community's permanent interests is not critically analyzed by the "LampBlacked Yellow Journalist Press" as IF a HOSTILE ACT was committed against the interests of Black Americans and why there is no "recall effort" erected against those who have failed the voters who made the investment in the machine.

The answer is clear for anyone who has read this blog for an extended period of time.  

The "consciousness of the Black community" in addressing these type of matters is exactly where the Embedded Confidence Men want it to be.    "Congregational Unity" in defense against EXTERNAL attacks - trumps any evidence that can be presented that the enemy is also WITHIN.

The weight of the water that is carried as a burden for the unwillingness to change and to willfully distract the attention of Black people into national politics IS that DEAD NEGROES will continue to be the "strange fruit" that is produced in the "Urban Gardens" that are tended.
