Why The Word "Nigger" Will Never Be Managed Out Of Commercial Speech Produced By Black People

The Soft Tissue Injury Of Racism

Sherri Shepherd hears two women say the word "Nigger" while sitting at the same table but one woman is "allowed" to say it without any disturbance to her while the vibrations of the other woman's vocal chords that vibrate the air waves and thus stimulate Ms Shepherd's ear drums causes a different set of emotions.  This is not because of the acoustical information that her brain received but the visual references that compliment what was received in her auditory canal.

When I call out the "Black Racial Services Machine" on their ability to look past the "daily murder of a Black person" in many major metro areas and instead key in upon the exceptional state execution as the vector of a Black man's death - this ever same point of (seeming) irrationality is at the core of the debate.

In both cases you are not going to see a Black person who thinks as such promote the logic "Since this issue is very problematic to me when it is triggered by my ENEMY I am going to do all that I can to mitigate this offensive end in all forms - including when fellow Black people initiate the offense".

This stance would primarily force a new set of governance upon Black people, forcing our own people to understand that when they inject the offensive issue into the public discourse it is of an equal offense than when "the enemy" does the same.

There exists a sparse amount of infrastructure within the Black community that can enforce real consequences for using the word "Nigga" in public discourse.  (Ride the public transportation system of many metro areas and you'll hear it all of the time.  Try and correct some of these young people and you might be called one yourself.)

Indeed we will see "NAACP N-Word Funerals" in which no one's toes is stepped upon.  Unfortunately these organizations erect more penalties for speaking against Obama than they do in attacking a Black person who uses the word "Nigga" for commercial speech.

It seems to me that if indeed the word is so offensive to Black people that the Black Community needs to take the lead in setting forth an effort that has teeth to retire this word.

It is as frivolous to protest against state sponsored executions while looking past "Street Pirate on Black" murder as it is to claim offense when Barbara Walters says the word "Nigger" but look past the scores of individuals injecting this word into the public discourse via commercial speech.
