The brilliance of "The Sit In Movement" or the "Freedom Riders" was that they prompted those who would stop at nothing to retain the world as they had ordered it to remain that way. These brave individuals merely had the AUDACITY to want to order some food or ride on a bus. Their actions were seen as provocative to those who had no intention of debating the issue. Theirs was the right way and they would use the necessary means to retain this order.
No the subject of the last paragraph WAS NOT an attempt to equate Herman Cain to the "Freedom Riders" that he sat out on. If you notice the primary focus was on "those who would stop at nothing to retain the world as they had ordered it". Even though the Black Progressive-Fundamentalist Bigots claim that "Herman Cain has INSULTED BLACK PEOPLE with his comments" - the truth is that they are quite selective in calling out the blunt instruments that we are knocked over the head with. Academic results, public safety and the molestation of the integrity of our institutions prove to be far, far, far more insulting to our consciousness than the words of one Black man - who is a gospel singer rather than a recording star with a "Hip Hop Voice Of The Street Pirate" recording label could ever manage to attack Black people.
The latest rant by tired and cranky left-wing calypso singer Harry Belafonte makes the point clearly.

the key point that I have learned is that the VALUATIONS and/or MEASURES of "threats" as interpreted by the Black Racial Services Machine do not rationally line up with respect to PROPORTIONALITY.
Indeed - the threats that can generate an INDICTMENT for political/ideological advantage OR to cast Blacks as the unilateral victims prove to be more powerful and more vocalized than the issues that must be accepted as "home grown" due to "benign neglect".
As I observe various events and wait for the brave Fannie Lou Hamer character to announce that she has it bottom and is "SICK AND TIRED OF BEING SICK AND TIRED" it seems that the Embedded Confidence Men are always one step ahead of her and can always channel her frustration into a gateway that makes them more entrenched in to her assumed pathway to salvation. They know her enough to know that SHE will never blame THEM for bad navigation.
Don't Listen To Who They INDICT. Keep Adequate Measure Of Yourself And Your Knowledge Of The Black Community And Assign A Stack Ranking To The Threats Of "The Criminal Defendants" That THEY Bring Into Court For You To Find Guilty As Charged
There is no need for you to agree with anything that Herman Cain says for this filter to be applied. Yet as I record "Black Wing Talk Radio" every day and play back clips as part of my appraisal process there is something askew as to one ONE MAN WHO HAS NO POWER can be the #1 topic of discussion. This at a time when there are so many other perplexing problems that are going on.
Upon further analysis it becomes clear that "IT IS NOT HERMAN CAIN THAT IS THE THREAT". The there is a perceived threat to PROGRESSIVISM and the BLACK INFERIORITY that is its twin brother.
To listen to otherwise "Too Black Too Strong" Black people functionally argue "YES WE ARE STILL DAMAGED GOODS FROM RACISM(!!!!)" promotes a need to understand the psychological and physiological viewpoint from which they stand. Indeed they believe that "Post Traumatic Slavery Syndrome" is a force that can be transferred to individuals who don't have any scars on their back.
This is because the scars are in their MIND. They are The Griots who are charged with communicating this condition via their verbal narratives that makes up their version of "Black Progressive Culture".
They know that Herman Cain's message is not just 'Pleasing to the White Tea Party' - it threatens to make a select group of Negroes to begin inspecting the HUMAN RESOURCE DEVELOPMENT INSTITUTIONS that the Black Racial Services Machine now run.
- That public school that has been made into a jobs program or a "Minority Contracting cesspool" but sucks at educating the students within the system might be under greater threat from the short sighted misappropriations of our community's vision than they are at risk from the nefarious schemes of the Koch Brothers
- That moral stance on "The Death Penalty" as executed by the state might not be the entrapment that we have been warned about in the phrase "That Could Be Me So I Am Empathetic To Injustice". They know from the extra rolls of police crime scene tape that the officers of the law that patrol their "Mission Accomplished" communities are provided as compared to others indicate the greater probability of cause of death to be listed on a young Black males death certificate
They are able to act with such audacity, disrespect for PROPORTIONALITY because they are not CONSCIOUSLY THE GOVERNORS OF OUR COMMUNITY. Their mindset only covers a portion of the enclosed space. Theirs is an inorganic ACTIVIST mindset. It needs some force to fight against.
The one thing they loath to fight against the most is that demon in the INNER SPACE that scares them the most. Them being left alone - all by themselves - and having to confront it causes them to desperately seek attachment to those they call their enemy so they won't be alone.

Cain's father was his driver and thus learned how to "Fit in good with White Folks, making them feel comfortable rather than THREATENING to them. This is the subservient mindset that was instilled into Cain as he sat out the 'Civil Rights Movement' at Morehouse. Then when he worked for Pillsbury he used his "making White folks feel comfortable skills" to get assigned to "Godfather's Pizza" where he took over as CEO. As the Black community is stroked into contentment, in the context of its prevailing consciousness, upon the notion that there is a lot of agreement within the congregation with respect to the priorities that are put in front of our conscious senses - the consequence of failing to inspect the narrative and the underlying agenda means that we are forced to deal with the burdens that are projected from our zone of responsibility that are left unmanaged, out of alignment with our needs as a people.

 Mitchell secretly funded the educational scholarships of several Black college and medical students. Whenever Mays caller her for help she obliged. She believed that the best way to strengthen Black people was to educate them to allow them to stand strong.  In 1941, Dr. Benjamin Mays had come to historically black Morehouse College as its new president and sought help for promising students. The first person he approached was Margaret Mitchell. Despite the stern admonitions she had received from her parents about hoarding money in time of war, Margaret agreed to an anonymous donation of $80, enough at that time to put a student through one year of school. When Dr. Mays wrote her a letter describing, in detail, the impact her gift had on its young recipient, the novelist decided to arrange her finances to make these contributions a regular event. Dr. Mays agreed to keep the scholarship fund a secret, and did so for many years after her death. The fund came to light when Dr. Otis Smith, the first African-American in the state of Georgia to be certified as a pediatrician, approached Mary Rose Taylor, chairman of Margaret Mitchell House, Inc., with the story. Dr. Smith, who also is a past president of the Atlanta chapter of the NAACP, had been a first-year student at Meharry Medical College in Nashville, Tenn., when his money ran out. Despite his years of work as a teacher, shoe shiner, and field hand, he told Dr. Mays he simply had no more money. Mays sent him back to Nashville, and said cryptically, "Don't worry about a thing. I'll take care of it." His tuition and fees were completely paid, but it was 35 years later (and Margaret Mitchell had long ago died) before Dr. Mays revealed the source of the gift -- one of about 40 to 50 Margaret Mitchell had made to African American medical students. |
