The Key Talking Points In The Narrative On "The Great Migration Out Of The 'Mission Accomplished Zones' "

One of the key advantages that the dominate voice in a society has is to lay down their own tracks of "history".   The narrative of the people's experiences is often an agent of their editorial sculpting.

In the wake of the 2010 US Census we received affirmation of what I had been noting for a long time - African Americans and others - are migrating to places that are more in line with their pursuit of opportunity and affirmation of their permanent interests.

I have been focusing on the news articles and lifestyle reports that are documenting this migration (note - both southward and to the suburbs).  There is a greater commitment toward telling the story of the gravitational attraction toward than many of the authors care to focus on the forces of repulsion outward.

In the Black community we are used to being treated toward "good news stories" about the commonly accepted individuals, entities or "in places".   If there are negative and critical stories it had better be against a force that the congregation has agreed "means no good for Black people".  The growing number of information channels available to Blacks become loaded with this "good and evil" narrative - all for the purposes of retaining this alignment as such.   Those down stream recipients are expected to "re-Tweet" the good news and the directed criticism lest they have their racial interests taken advantage of (by someone other than the embedded scribes).

My line of thinking is different.   I prefer to run a supposition backward to see if it is true and not just accept the streaming narrative as it is told to me.  Indeed if "The South" is proving to be attractive to an increasing number of Blacks who live elsewhere then it stands to reason that there is some point of "un-fulfillment" that is present about the place that they have departed from.

In my view - how do you successfully avoid "customizing" your new place into an area that later becomes a threat to your "Permanent Interests" if you actively avoid talking about the place that you have departed from?

The place that you are now attracted to is not some frontier woodland in which you were required to bring your axe and mule to clear the land and synergize a community.   The truth is that, for the most part, it was a CONSUMER who packed up the U-haul truck and now wants to plug into the network of living that was in existence to which he is attracted to.

This new ecosystem did not spring up by accident.   Hell, after watching the episodic narrative of Rachel Maddow's views on the South - its a wonder why anyone would choose to vacate their "Mission Accomplished Zones".   Of course the hit job is registered against the operatives of the governments of these "red states".   The stereotyped culture and condition of the people are merely used as the necessary "flora and fauna" in the larger ideological and political gunplay that banters about.

The stereotype of "Confederate Flags" and lynching or the present conduct of a scheme to "return the original laborers to their sharecropping lands" just prior to triggering the net that will snare them back into chattel slavery are now seen to be slanderous stereotypes used by the bigot who holds the opposing rifle in the long running war of attrition.  As always his hateful tactics are justified by his greater goals of protecting "the least of these" and the sheep from harm at the hands of the enemy.

Where Is The Debriefing About The "Mission Accomplished Zones" From The Mouths Of The "Black Flight Progressives"?

I have stated several times before - A "Popularity Poll" taken among Black folks is largely worthless when it comes to ideology and politics.   Our people are keen to understand where the questions are leading and it is understood that we must show a good face.

The empirical evidence collected from a third party - dispassionate source like the "US Census" and then conducting longitudinal analysis of what our people are actually doing proves to be a far more accurate and transparent measure of understanding what is inside of our people's consciousness.

We Wear The Mask

What does it say that the primary channel for our uplift as a community - as propagated by the "Black Racial Services Machine" has proven fruitful for their interests - as they have many of their portraits hanging on the wall at various portrait galleries in government buildings - yet the foundational issues that they were lifted into power upon by the Black rank & file remain largely unfulfilled.

As I make my way through the new Manning Marable book "Malcolm X - A Life Of Reinvention" the story of the constant migration of Black people in pursuit of opportunity always has a NEGATIVE ELEMENT that is chasing them away from their previous residency due to threat of life or limb or physical assets.

If the late Prof Marable and many others are able to articulate the threat during the time of racist corrupt government administrations that actively worked against the interests of Black people............WHO will step up and provide the same transparent narrative about the government of "favorable people" who were working FOR US - yet have injured us so?

This is the foundation of my disdain for large segments of the Black Press which I call "The LampBlacked Yellow Journalist Press".   They have no respect for their craft and thus they are not deserving of any respect from an "Aware Negro" who is watching their foolish antics.

They are not working for the long sought after "correction" of the Black Community.  They instead work on retainer for the status quo.

If we are "progressing" on this course that we are following then surely there should be some "institutional learning" that is documented.  These are the annals which store the "Been There, Done That, It Didn't Work" firewall is erected that prevent the confidence of the Black community from being played by those forces who see the value of the "Equal Black Ballot" that is dangling out of the back pocket of the unwary Negro.  More valuable to him is this than the white headphone cord which leads into the pant pocket of person who seeks to extend their life by exercising in certain neighborhoods yet has lost track of time as they jog right into the snare of the salient threat that clandestinely hovers over the community.  This composed of human resources that were not sent to "finishing school" doe to funding cuts at the community level which allowed their present consciousness to fester.

Is it too much of a leap to see that the "consumer mind" that has been cultivated is better able to articulate our RIGHTS to access a certain resource and standard of living.
