“Take Back The Black Community Consciousness". It has been hijacked by embedded operatives who don't intend to develop the COMPETENCIES within. We once controlled this consciousness, focusing our activism directly upon our permanent interests. Today the "Malcolm X Political Football Game" has us as starters and some believe that this playing time translates into absolute progress for our people. My goal is to hold our permanent interests in their faces, forcing them to explain their actions.

Attention White Progressives (And The One Black Guy) Outside Of The CNN Center On Friday

As I drove home on Friday evening I saw a protest rally in the making outside of the CNN Center in downtown Atlanta.

Fortunately for the one Black man in the entire group this group won't be called "racist" due to its lack of diversity because the prevailing support for the group named "Cop Watch" who was organizing the demonstration. (Note: I assume that this is the case because many of the protesters had "CopWatch" on their shirts).

I want to be clear. I support their right to protest as part of their free speech. They are allowed to invest their time as they see fit.

My goal is to increase their field of vision. A short walk away from where they set up their protests is one of the most deadly areas for Negroes in Atlanta - "The Vine City Section".

They should know that about a year and a half ago the headless body of a Black female was found in a vacant lot and her family has not yet found JUSTICE - as this killer and many, many others go free in this area which has about a 43% homicide closure rate. (Note - her hands were cut off as well)

The Use Of "Slave/Jim Crow Images" In Black Political Debate - Evaluate The Agenda

The use of "slave imagery" is common in ideological discourse among Black people today. The best way to appraise the veracity of the agenda of the presenter is to distinguish between those images which are used to cajole Black people into "Ideological Unity" versus those images used to bring consciousness to the sad fact that in far too many cases today - the man holding the gun is a Black man, his disturbed consciousness allowed to fester because the balance of our community organizers are focused on external political affairs. They sell us on the notion that when our people assist their political/ideological external partners in their success that these individuals who suffer from BENIGN NEGLECT will be cured - no longer terrorizing us. In the circular reference that is their struggle - the more damaged individuals that matriculate through the local institutions that they now control per their struggle, the louder their call for continued UNITY and redirection lest our community's long time external adversaries start terrorizing us again. They successfully avoid community scrutiny of their stewardship of our key "Human Resource Development" institutions.
