The most amazing attribute of a bigot who grieves about his present state yet keeps "trying harder" at doing what he is doing is that he convinces himself that HIS ADVERSARY has not convinced him yet why he should change.
Though the article by ColorLines should be partially applauded for reaching out to Black Republican Lenny McAllister to get a non Progressive-Fundamentalist viewpoint - the point is that "Color Lines" and other Black Progressive operative entities are not looking for a "solution" beyond more progressivism.
Still - McAllister is a Republican. His goal is to get more Black people into his party as the key gateway to fixing our community's problems.
I am of the position that the tragic mistake of our community is that we have placed our "Community Development Consciousness" into the "American Political Domain". Unlike Isaiah Montgomery (from the article) I am not suggesting that Black people stop voting. I am strongly suggesting that issues that lend themselves to politics belong in the political domain while issues that must be addressed at the community level must NOT be allowed to seep into the this domain. In fact those who dare cross-contaminate these two domains are the primary hijackers of Black Consciousness today.
They are seen keeping Black people "struggling" - all the while we invest our "Equal Black Ballots" into the cause of Progressivism and the Democratic Party. (I call them out exclusively only because they dominate every element of the Black Racial Services Machine. I have no more respect for the elements of Black Republicans who would do the very same thing).
Why Doesn't ColorLines Do A "Self-Breast Exam" Of The Progressive - Black Racial Services Machine That They Are A Part Of?
For ColorLines to make the case that, try as they might - the Republicans have failed to field a set of ideas that the Black community could connect to - they fail my "Dark-Matter" model. This is the large body of anti-matter that is present but not visible by the naked eye. The biased narrator has no plans to talk about it unless someone asks him about it.
I AM ASKING.
Indeed if the Black community has rejected conservatism then it has adopted Progressivism via the Democratic Party in abundance. If ColorLines was a transparent news organization (which it is not) then at some point along the way we would see more stories that enumerate the "Portfolio Balance" of invested Black ballots and CONSCIOUSNESS HOPES into the METHODOLOGY that has been popularly accepted. A Black journalist that is interested in defending the interests of the Black Community would be acting more like an Investment Analyst rather than a Progressive Distribution Channel - as the majority of the Black Press that I call "The LampBlacked Yellow Journalist Press" is doing.
Ironically as they stand among the smoldering ruins of certain "Mission Accomplished" zones that have achieved the favorable political control that they had advocated for the past 50 years or more - few have the conscious integrity to step away from their transactional indictments per their jobs as "colored analysts" in the "Malcolm X Political Football Game" and instead make a more fundamental architectural and strategic assessment of what the Black community has been ensnared into that is fronting as a "Black Agenda".
Those who control the narrative also happen to have the influence over the Black Rank & File that allows them to keep us strung out on the campaign that is in front of us while suspiciously avoiding any conversation about how we have "Been Their, Done That, Won The Election But Lost A Part Of Our Consciousness As Our Permanent Interests Have Not Been Extended". Unfortunately the most clear functional benefit of these scheme is that yet another favorable official who has been placed into power gets encapsulated into the protection racket. He, unlike his predecessor won't be scrutinized by the LampBlack Yellow Journalists despite the continued suffering of the Black Community. Instead these agents hope to make Black people feel good by tapping into the PRIDE that there is a "person who looks like them" and has a progressive ideology - that is in power.
They too could achieve this end - if only our public schools that the machine now runs were successfully educating our children. We can only HOPE that this will CHANGE one day.
