I am on record, having noted several years ago about the Black politicians who are keen enough to sense the "No Confidence Vote" brewing among Blacks and then chooses to levitate off of the stage and LEAD THEM IN A STRUGGLE against an enemy that he knows that they'll tuck their grievances about him and instead follow, appreciative that he has UNIFIED the factionalizing group.
I will have my recording devices tuned to "Black Wing Talk Radio" to listen into their analysis of the President's words among his permanent friends at the "Congressional Black Caucus Weekend".
Here is the construct of my appraisal of their analysis of Obama's speech. (Note - Do you ever see any of the propaganda sources lay out their methodology upon which they appraise their "friends and enemies"? More to the point - if and when they do does it pass the smell test?)
Of the "Jobs Bill" that is said to create 2 million jobs, if passed..............since their are 14 million unemployed Americans (my economist professor friend corrected me and told me that it is more like 17 million) and 4 million Black people who are unemployed -
- Will any of the Black-wing Talk radio operatives who will be "walking with Obama" going to define the SCALE of this proposal relative to the NEEDS? I won't post the "George Bush's Katrina Helicopter diagram" but you get the point. If YOU don't define your needs before you start walking as instructed - even if you WIN - you still LOSE!!
- Will any of these same operatives apply a time and architectural dimension to the proposal? With the forces that were gathered at the CBC Weekend having had power over the Black community's interests for more than 50 years - yes even before the CBC was officially christened will any of them ask
- WHY are we needing to look to the FEDERAL GOVERNMENT for a "Black Jobs Program"? What about the infrastructure and institutions that he have control over (or should have built up) locally - that is not providing for our people's desire to SELL their skills and labor into an organized market place?
- With respect to TIME - in as much as each election cycle since 1966 the Black voter has been compelled to make an investment in line with what the political leadership has sold us as the benefit of their growth in power. This came to a crescendo in 2008. What exactly should we be expecting is going to happen that is DIFFERENT than
- The time interval between the 2008 elections and today?
- The "Recovery Summer of 2010" that was supposed to bring forth millions of jobs
- The 2010 midterm elections where we were told then to "Stand With Obama". Now we are being asked to WALK with him.
- Recall that former Speaker Of The House - Nancy Pelosi created a jobs graph for her arguments for the benefit of Democratic Talking Points that soon found its way - verbatim into the BLACK political space (as if there is a difference). If "Obama has created more jobs in 1 year than Bush has done in 8 years".......................WHY is it that the pride and contentment that the graphic created for you at that time not been able to tide you over IN THE REAL WORLD - where ECONOMIC REALITY not propaganda is needed to pay your rent, phone bill, natural gas bill and Comcast cable television bill?
Fear not - people are watching all of these events that are going on WITHIN the Black community.
With so many contaminated, confused and hijacked "Permanent Interests" the people who failed to uphold the INTEGRITY of our institutions - as a separate and distinct entity from the "Malcolm X Political Football Game" are going to have a hard time convincing the next president that the congregation has not conspired to withhold speaking TRUTH TO POWER against that he or she need seriously worry about the wrath of Black people as our interests are shorted.
With 16.7% of Black people being unemployed Obama should have a lot of Black people with time on their hands who can MARCH with him.
