Some people would like to deduce the armed conflict in Libya down to a matter of process inside of the American and United Nation's infrastructure.
- "Does Obama have the authority to continue these war proceedings without direct authorization from the US Congress?"
- "Are the Republicans who are now crying foul being hypocritical in that they were more obedient with Afghanistan and Iraq?"
- "Did the United Nations sufficiently set the limits on what the NATO alliance was allowed to do as it sought initial cover as a 'humanitarian mission' which would only enforce a 'No Fly Zone'?"
- "Is Obama really being influenced by Zionist forces embedded within the US Government - have made him do things that was not otherwise in his spirit or character?"
While we saw that the President of the United States has access to an "Auto Pen" which allowed him to sign a paper while in Europe a few weeks ago and the apparatus operated an official ink pen in Washington DC to make the legislation official - I have not seen any device that can similarly manipulate Commander In Chief Obama's BRAIN and cause his mouth to speak about war in Libya that he did not intend to say via his own volition.
I largely agree with Minister Louis Farrakhan's assessment about Libya being a war based upon trumped up charges against the Libyan government as cover for some other interests that existed prior to launching the initial cruise missiles. It must be noted that the far left "Southern Poverty Law Center" that otherwise has Minister Louis Farrakhan and the Nation Of Islam listed as a "hate group" printed his speech made in New York this week on their web site triggering support rather than condemnation from the majority of those who posted a response.
Clearly cats are sleeping together with dogs and have invited a group of mice to come over and join them in a slumber party.
Even I, a Black Conservative, with my eye out upon Africa as I know the history of how certain efforts to "help" were done for self-serving reasons am forced to agree that hidden in the outreached hand of NATO and the USA is something other than a piece of bread and spring water to aid the "oppressed people" of Libya.
Beyond the discussions about the processes of the USA and United Nations this debate needs to be about JUSTIFICATION and the selective indictment against one nation while death and oppression at the hands of government go relatively unchallenged in another nation (Syria).
Opening up a new front in Syria will not placate my questions. Answering the question as to why NATO has chosen to help the "rebels", quickly recognizing them and anointing itself as the authority which can put down the actions by the officially recognized government as it attempts to put down an armed uprising? Libyan government and military targets were destroyed. 8 Libyan naval vessels were bombed with the excuse that they posed a threat to the future "humanitarian shipments" that were planned by sea.
One thing is clear - if any African nation dares stand up against the interests of the USA and the former colonial powers arrayed in Europe - they too will be destroyed.
Sadly this is what I heard throughout my young adult life in various "African Studies" courses, books or discussions that I was exposed to.
Today we are witnessing the truth in these statements - right before our eyes. Yet it is most disturbing to me to note the silent complicity of the "Obama Fist Bump Black Press". While their mindset is akin to the "Black Studies" people who told me about the destructive ways of the European throughout history - their actions as these events transpire - in a time period when they are conflicted about their loyalties to the COMMANDER IN CHIEF that has ordered the bombing runs - cause me to understand that their words were merely said in the comfort of the air conditioning within which they were sitting when they spoke.
