I will comment on this more in-depth later on.
As you read this article do so with the conscious mindset of ONE THING: In as much as the evidence shows that Blacks are REPUDIATING the environments that have been created (and/or continued) in these Mission Accomplished Cities........does the author of the story sufficiently key in upon the SOURCE (and/or "flawed assumptions") that lead to this end?
For example - the narrative of "The Great Migration" from the South is that Blacks who were:
- Tired of Racism
- Channeled into housekeeping and agricultural jobs
- Who were treated to inferior academic institutions
- Who saw abundant employment in the Northern Cities....................
............packed up and moved toward OPPORTUNITY
If Blacks today are vacating these "Mission Accomplished Cities" then who is playing the part of the "Klan Antagonist" this time?
Don't mistake REPORTING on the results of the US Census with ANALYSIS of the forces at play.
Ironically I have already read the words of several "Civil Rights Pharisees" who are offering "Racial Services" to the Blacks who move into the suburbs or southward and experience RACISM. They can't bring themselves to see that whatever FORCE that triggered them to depart the "Mission Accomplished city" was more POWERFUL of a threat to them than that which they feared in RACISM.
Ironically - while RACISM is responded to vigorously - the forces that triggered the departure are kept in the laundry basket.
