He told me: "In your attempts to fix a problem - if you can't MEASURE, MONITOR a problem (a force bearing down upon the company) then you will never be able to erect a plan to MITIGATE it on your way to achieving better results through management".
While this though seems rather clear to anyone that might read it - I don't believe that the man who said this ever considered the possibility that there would ever be a group of people who PROFIT from the retained AMBIGUITY of the amplitude of this force that bears upon them. It is this lack of will to MEASURE the force that affords them the ability to retain their seats of POWER, and their CONFIDENCE with the masses who they offer protection to.
I coined the term "Establishment Power Repudiation" to describe this phenomenon. This is when a group of people conspire to deny that their dominate power over a given population and/or political zone is sufficient enough to have everyone expect a better set of circumstances to the area and the people in question.
As they apply "Establishment Power Repudiation" they are able to push the blame for their present conditions upon their enemies while lobbying for more POWER - as a means of actually fixing the problem in the future.
The ironic point is that despite the fact that the "Civil Rights Movement" had protested against certain local seats of power that denied Black people equal rights and/or actively oppressed us - today as "favorable people" now hold these very same seats in government - many are loathed to return to these very sidewalks outside of their offices to protest the results that are far too often indistinguishable from the past attainment of our "Permanent Interests".
RACISM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
As I debate various people in various venues............as I preemptively put forth a model that both defines the condition that the Black community is presently in and on recommendations about how to protect our "Permanent Interests" from usurpation the key point of rebuttal that I hear against my viewpoint is that I do not factor in the POWER OF RACISM(!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!) enough and thus my model is as unrepresentative of the real world as is my observations of those of my ideological adversaries.
The one point that I do notice, however, is that while a local radio host, for example, who took my call told me that my demand that Black killers be seen as EQUAL THREATS to the Black community fails to consider the realities of WHITE SUPREMACY - I have never, never, never (ever never) heard a Black Quasi-Socialist Progressive-Fundamentalist Racism Chaser tell a fellow ideological traveler that his own viewpoint of the world OVER-REPRESENTS White Racism (from Conservative Whites) and thus is a flawed model.
If we can all agree that it is imperative for each of us to put forth a model of our world that is ACCURATE and REPRESENTATIVE of the real world - with due proportionality of focus on the forces that bear down upon us (both good and bad) then the proposed solutions that are derived from this model will have a greater chance at working in advancement of our "Permanent Interests".
Any transparent observation of the dynamics that are present WITHIN the Black Community will conclude that in 2011 - there is no "Organic Black Community Development Movement" that has survived racial integration in this nation. Every element of the warnings that Malcolm X provided regarding the usurpation of Black people as a "Political Football" between Conservatives and Progressives (he said Liberals) has become completely fused as the primary "Black Community Development Trek". The operatives no longer have to pretend who they are any longer.
I called out the "MSNBC - The UnFox-biased Biased Network Presents The Black Progressive Agenda - Featuring Ed Schultz" for what it really was - evidence of the unabashed fusion between "The Black Community Development Activism" and "Progressive/Democratic Party Politics". After 2 minutes into the show they talked about the "Tea Party" but did not define the Black community and the CONSCIOUSNESS that we possess as a people - was enough for me to turn off the live feed and watch it as a recording later on - instead investing my time in a real news analysis program that was running on CNN at the time.
The real problem is beyond ideological preference.
We are now living in a period of gross corruption that is dominate among all of the tentacles of the force that I had been calling "The Black Establishment".
Whereas I had previously defined the real "Black Agenda" as being evidenced by the forthright attempts to OBTAIN OUR COMMUNITY'S PERMANENT INTERESTS with the failure to do so triggering a jettison of that which as FAILED TO DELIVER - the conjunction being an intrinsic attribution - the modern state of affairs bring forth evidence of the CORRUPTION that I speak of.
Today we live in an environment in which the PRIORITIES of the key tentacles in this establishment are clear. When they are faced with the conflict of having to do an EXPOSE' against the machine that they helped lift into power as it has failed to develop the Black Community as promised - they choose to save face, deploying the "KEEP YOUR ENEMIES ON TRIAL SO YOU DON'T HAVE TO TALK ABOUT YOUR FRIENDS" as their primary antics to promote and protect their Progressive-Fundamentalism.
While I accept that a politician will do whatever it takes to retain his power and that many of the other tentacles of the machine will do their thing in support of the politician - ultimately the BLACK RANK & FILE who continues to struggle - despite the "Mission Accomplishment" that has taken place. They have to accept that the VICTORY that was won was not THEIR victory. It was merely a win for the Joint-Venture Contract that the embedded confidence men had arranged on their behalf.
Corruption on Wall Street is seen by those who conspire to receive financial gain for those who exist within their small, clandestine clique. They win, regardless of the results that transpire with the underlying company or financial instrument that they profit from. Their use of insider trading allows them to escape personal harm.
From the perspective of the Black Community - despite the conditions that remain within the Black community with regard to:
- Academic Attainment
- Community Safety
- Economic Productivity
- Social Capital
Until there is a firewall of protection between our "Racial Consciousness Nucleus" and those who are operatives that seek to package our issues for sale to the highest bidder - nothing about their success in their sales job and the resulting failure where it counts the most is going to ever be brought into their proper alignment.
The claim of RACISM will always be the perfect point of obfuscation - triggering the expected "Racially Defensive Disposition" that they know will be elicited.
