A Hard Working Black Man
A Small Business Owner
A Family Man

He has his truck as the key capital asset necessary to make a living for his family.
Through this utility van he is able to provide needed service to the people in South Dekalb County Georgia.

This is a picture of the crime scene in South Dekalb County near Gresham Road  and I-20.

While there is critical chatter about the exploitative impact of Wal-Mart upon women and "vulnerable people" there is active suppression about open and honest discussion about the reign of the "Street Pirates" on the streets of Black America.

For many years as I zoomed up and down I-20 on my way to hang out with friends and family in the Stone Mountain area - this location were Wal-Mart now sits was an abandoned flea market which had used the building of the grocery store which originally constructed the building.   The presence of Wal-Mart as an anchor tenant allowed this sparkling new plaza to be constructed.  It offered the residents in this area of redevelopment focus to have access to quality foods and retail merchandise.

The redevelopment of the nearby  "East Lake Village" area had been heralded.  Gone were the old and crumbling housing projects.  In their place were brand new mixed income apartments.   Both a public and a private golf course in the area made this an area that was attractive for redevelopment after years of decline.

We see in this case that bricks and mortars do not change the consciousness of the human beings that have been nurtured into a life of "Street Piracy".   Far too often this merely affords them more opportunity for attack.

The Street Pirate shows that he doesn't GIVE A DAMN about anyone. He is centrally concerned about the stimulation of his own material wants and physical desires.

The Black small business owner who had a truck was seen to be carting a "booty" that was of interest to the Street Pirate. The fiberglass panels of the truck obscured the vision of the Street Pirate who desired the valuable cargo.

The life of this Black father, Black business owner, Black man of the community was all boiled down to a the question of a set of electrical pulses streaming from the brain of the Street Pirate down to the finger that was wrapped around the trigger of the gun that he held to the Black man's head.

I empathize with this hard working Black father as I realize how close he came to having an autopsy photo with a bullet entrance wound similar to the picture below.

Unfortunately this particular area has a tumultuous relationship between the Black Community and the Police.
As clarity is obtained in the effort at keeping the vast majority of hard working, law abiding citizens in this area who merely seek "Safe Street That Will Allow Them To Strengthen Their Community Fabric" - there are individuals within the mix who are intent on keeping law enforcement and the Black community at odds with each other.   The race of the police chief being irrelevant.
