"State of The Organic Competency Development" Report - It's Hijacked

Listening to the "Bev Smith Show" and a gentleman from "United For A Fair Economy".

The most painful part about listening to this edition of her show is that she featured the great "Marcus Garvey" as her featured Black leader from the past.  Garvey had more evidence of ORGANIC COMPETENCY DEVELOPMENT for Black people than any other Black run organization - (minus the aggregate impact of Black churches).

Recently I have pulled back from the monitoring of political broadcasts - left and right.  Instead I gone back to listening to the business and finance channels.   In contrasting what I hear on the "Bev Smith Show" as compared to the forces that monitor the financial markets - its like we are talking about two different planets.  A caller to the show said that the reason why corporations are not hiring people and are aggregating their profits is to DESTROY BARACK OBAMA - making the economy look bad so that he will be voted out of office.

I have no problem with them believing whatever they choose to.  I DO have a problem in that these conspiracies get propagated through the Black community and become the operating assumptions.  I challenge all of you to watch:

• CNBC
• Fox Business
• PBS Nightly Business Report

Then listen to "Fight The Power" Black talk radio to see if the various forces seeking PROFITS have a vested interest in a floundering economy.

EVERY SINGLE ECONOMIC POLICY advanced by Bev Smith and Brian Miller involve INCOME REDISTRIBUTION using TAXES ON THE WEALTHY!!!

Bev Smith is now asking Mr Miller how WHITE FOLKS think about BLACKS when they see Oprah Winfrey, Magic Johnson and other wealthy Blacks if they assume that other Blacks are as prosperous and not in crisis.  At least this guy "punted" the question - saying that he could not come up with a general statement.

They are now talking about rebuilding "The Poor People's Campaign" but they don't say a damned thing about ORGANIC COMPETENCY DEVELOPMENT.

Where are the Black Press Operatives who are willing to go against the grain and force their progressive brothers and sisters to SUBSTANTIATE their ideology with the facts being as they presently are?   They are unable to point to the clear evidence that shows that their increase in POWER and CONTROL over the key "Human Resource Development Institutions" where "The Least Of These" live and JUSTIFY their continued leadership.

Oddly enough the continued presence of POVERTY when others have PLENTY is their primary calling card for continuance.

Brian Miller argued that TAX CUTS FOR THE RICH has caused a "Racial Wealth Divide".   Black people don't mind being called "The Least Of These" - as long as it positions Black people to receive some material benefit at the end of the transaction.

A Muslim minister is now talking about the need for 'virtual separation' of Black people so that Blacks can take control over our own community's economics.  He (and she) have been talking about dependent integration all night long.  Miller says  "The majority of wealth is in White hands.  Unless the underlying wealth disparities that were built up during slavery - there is not going to be a change".

Agree with me or not people.  This is not my concern.
The main point that I notice when listening to "Black Dependent Integrationalists" and "White Liberal Snarling Foxes" that are joint venture partners is that have NO program for "Organic Competency Development" among our people - where THEY are forced to leverage the institutions that they have taken control over to PRODUCE INCREASE.

We as Black people are merely used as foot soldiers - VOTING and STRUGGLING to support redistributive policies with the promises of one day reaching a desired standard of living.  All the while that we GO THROUGH THE MOTIONS of STRUGGLE - we are today - left in a condition where our condition WITHIN our community is as threatened as any other recent time.  

Ms Smith is getting in her shots on "The Tea Party" and "Republicans".   It comes as no surprise that she wants them lined up as the main obstacle that is blogging BLACK AMERICA'S PROGRESS.

1. End attacks on Public Sector Employees - Black workers are disproportionately hit
2. End attacks on Social Safety Net Programs

Mr Miller is loathed to look at a Detroit or a Newark.  The loss of LOCAL TAX BASE mandated that "BLACK PUBLIC SECTOR EMPLOYEES BE LAID OFF".   After years of building up a progressive powerbase in these and other cities, many of them are no longer fiscally viable.   

Mr Miller is a creature of NATIONAL redistributive policies.  This shell game temporarily allows him and others to make the local dysfunction and inability to produce economic prosperity at the periphery.   His is a tale of "taxing the rich to smooth out the injustices of capitalism".    As long as many of you all don't THINK to ask him for evidence of his perpetual "investments" bearing fruit - all that he says sounds good.  He presents a story of 100% "upside" for those who feel themselves as marginalized.  They merely need to organize into a grass roots effort, VOTE in unison (for the Progressive Democrats) and one day the victory will be theres.
