The Google Corporation is known to have one of the most stringent interview processes in the industry. Candidates are given a series of "logic puzzles" to figure out prior to moving to the next round. Per the companies objectives, they believe that these tests assure that they will attract the type of creative people that they need for the competitive edge that they seek.

Ask them that they show the details of their prospective employee appraisal process. Ask for SAMPLE TESTS. Take these tests back to the "community center" and learn to understand the field of logic that these companies that are HIRING are looking for. Instill these skills in the young people that you are seeking.
