"I Long For The Day Where I Can Benefit From The '8 Hour Work Day' That Unions Have Brought To All Americans

  1. 8 Hour Work Day - After Which Over Time Must Be Paid
  2. Child Labor Laws
  3. The Right To Collective Bargaining
  4. OSHA
  5. Vacation Policies
  6. Fair Labor Standards Act Of 1938
Indeed these are benefits that the Progressive Movement and the Labor Movement has brought to all Americans.

However - all of these are moot points to those who DON'T HAVE A JOB THROUGH WHICH THEY CAN EXPRESS THESE "RIGHTS".

  • Is the move from "Corporate Owned Housing" (Gary IN, Alcoa TN) over to "Government Owned Housing really PROGRESS?
  • As The Increase In "Cost Of Doing Business" In "Progressive Mission Accomplished" Areas Has Shifted People From "Living Wages" Over To "Government Transfer Payments" - Did They Retain Their High Rate Of Pay?  Or Are They Still Struggling For This?
    • Are They Transacting Anything Of Value When They Receive "Transfer Payments" OR Is This The Transaction FROM THE SOCIETY Per The Commitment That No Individual Should Fall Below A Certain Agreed Upon Standard?
Most Of All - Can These Rights and Theories Stand When You Are ALL ALONE, BY YOURSELVES and Forced To Make Them Work?
