Correct me if I am wrong but there was no coordinated drive for "Gun Control" and nary the suggestion that the "Hip Hop Voice Of The Street Pirate" community pull back on their language of violence. Despite the fact that so many of the "Street Pirate Lyrics" depict these very crime scenes and also have a higher occurrence of assault and murder upon them than does the average entertainer in America........for some reason their cause goes unnoticed.

Magnolia Shorty (1982 – December 20, 2010), born Renetta Lowe, was an American rapper in the New Orleans-based bounce music scene.[1] She and Ms. Tee (Trishell Williams) were the first women signed to Cash Money Records.[2] Her 1997 debut album Monkey on the Dick (often stylized Monkey On Tha D$ck) is considered a bounce classic, and she "was already considered a legend of bounce music" at the time of her death.[2] Offbeat said the album exemplifies "the eccentric New Orleans elements of sexuality, comedy and hard edged dance rhythms."[3] In his 2007 book Triksta, Nik Cohn credits Magnolia Shorty with his own discovery of bounce, and the third chapter of that book is named after her debut album.[4]
Magnolia Shorty was discovered by Birdman.[5][6] She got her nickname from Soulja Slim, also known as Magnolia Slim, because both had grown up in New Orleans' dangerous Magnolia Projects.[7] Nicknamed "Queen of Bounce," she collaborated with many Cash Money artists beginning in the 1990s, including Juvenile and Hot Boys.[4] She was first featured on Juvenile's 1997 song "3rd Ward Solja."[8] In 2009 she appeared at the SXSW music festival[9] and won Best Bounce Song at the Underground Hip-Hop Awards in New Orleans.[2] She was a member of Lil Wayne's Cash Money crew in the early 1990s, and she was collaborating as well as working on her second album on the Cash Money/Young Money label in 2010.[10]
She was shot and killed in a car with Jerome Hampton in a double homicide in New Orleans.[11][12] Police described the crime as a drive-by shooting

Back in December 2010 when President Obama "negotiated with the enemies of Black people" and gave up the gold too soon in support of their desire for "Tax Cuts for the Rich" - we were told that he failed to stand up for the interests of the key people of interest as he enabled the agenda of those who did not have our interests in mind.
Take this same framing and apply it to the cause of the wanton murder of Black people and then ask why so many Black Operatives kept on their Democratic Party t-shirt and progressive-fundamentalist spinner beanie and IMMEDIATELY joined in with their Snarling Fox partymates to propagate the scenario that their right-wing media enemies are responsible for the shooting in Arizona.
WHERE was the negotiation regarding how the Progressive media will agree to voice the cause of the steady stream of murder that takes place within the Black community?

Why DID the "Progressive who is a Democrat who is Black" who normally protests loudly about how a "Missing White Girl" draws national attention while a Black girl gets none - choose to ECHO the attacks on their right wing adversaries while SILENT on the grand overlook as to the police tape that covers many Black communities? They were quick to dive in the pool, making sure that the Black media outlets did their part to keep the talking points in line. They were SILENT on their demands upon the MAINSTREAM MEDIA as a condition for their participation.
But I Know Whey They Were Silent On Their Request For Coverage
As a resident of "Civil Rights Central" I have the misfortune of seeing a steady flow of "Neo-Klan Attacks" by Street Pirates. Only the present ice storm in Atlanta which has slowed the navigation of the Street Pirate vessels (sitting on 22's) and thus interrupted the daily murders that had been taking place in 2011.
I also get an opportunity to watch the Black establishment - how they react to this near daily killing spree. Whereas Arizona was an opportunity to capitalize against their conservative adversaries - the sight of a new 'Street Pirate on Black' murder causes them great internal shame. They know that when the television news stamps the "geolocation" on the murder scene that this is translates into one more outsider being convinced of the violence of - Vine City in Atlanta, for example. This also means one more Black mother who is willing to speak to the camera and microphone saying "It is too dangerous around here. I am going to move my family elsewhere". That which they have long pounced upon when coming from the mouth of an adversarial politician (ie: former Georgia Attorney General Mike Bowers who said that most the violent crime in Georgia happens in specific sections of the ATL was attacked as a racist). It is clear that when the Black community is harmed by the benign neglect of those who apply their racial defensiveness and obfuscation - this type of "harm" is not as indictable as that which happened when the local sheriffs could not guarantee the safety of the "Freedom Riders". Those who were racist purposefully pulled their police resources away, allowing Blacks to be assaulted. Today police resources are pulled away, the innocent people exposed to the Street Pirate wolves because the political establishment has indicted the police for their aggressive tactics in casting a large drag net.

The person who comes out smelling like a rose - win, lose or draw - is the middle man broker in the Black Establishment. He operates as the "flow valve" into the Black community. Never does the rank and file make note that this value has rusted. If the Arizona shooter has suffered from mental problems which may be genetic, chemical imbalance or environmental - we only hear that the Street Pirates suffer from "NATIONAL environmental" forces - but never is are the managers of their local ecosystem given an effectiveness rating.
Thus the quick response from the Black Political Establishment, the Lampblack Yellow Journalist and their Black Progressive Black Blogger understudies - feeding the message to the Black rank & file was in line with their desire to bash their ideological enemies on the right - yet AVOID the bloated corpse rotting in the corner that no one bothered to collect and provide a proper burial.
The calls for "gun control" has thus far lead to "Stop and Frisk" strategies in several "Mission Accomplished Cities". Those who complain that such policies function as a portal to channel Black males into jail fail to see their genetic fingerprints in the DNA test which determines the lineage of these laws.
Those who reject the notion that "the Second Amendment" mandates that we tolerate some level of gun violence in the name of FREEDOM can't see that with their perpetual activism and struggle - the regulatory environment that they establish have the residual effect in producing the results are unfavorable. Providing them with something else to protest in the future.
The missing link in their seesaw struggle is the incubation of a new CONSCIOUSNESS inside of the young people who have matriculated through the environs which their machine has dominate control over.
