The "truthiness" of this statement is ONLY accurate based upon which acts of violence and hate speech you include in your appraisal. I believe that "Black Inferiority" causes certain violent actions and certain words to be removed from consideration.
Among the Black Progressive-Fundamentalists these exists a running indictment: A missing Black female is not worthy of news coverage in comparison to when a White girl. The little White girl is most able to connect with the heart strings of "racialist" America because people imagine that this is their daughter.

The motivation behind this tactic is to render an INDICTMENT against those who they deem responsible for insuring the equal protection of all Americans on an equal basis. With each case more evidence is added to their model.

I beg your forgiveness as I borrow this very model and apply it to the case that I have noted about a far more pressing issue that infects our community: The Stand Against The Street Pirates.
I have been watching the "Rachael Maddow Show" for an extended period of time. Agree with me or not, I believe that I am pretty good at pattern matching, developing a crumb trail to justify the model that I develop for a given operative's antics.
In the case of Rachael Maddow the enlightened observations of the great Malcolm X proves valuable. The template of the "White Liberal Snarling Fox" speaks of the clandestine motivations of the outside force who befriends our community's cause. While the conservative is blunt and blatant with his views of you - the Snarling Fox can only be exposed after careful analysis of their antics with regards to our community's DEVELLOPMENT needs. This is not to say that Rachael Maddow is a racist. Indeed where race intersects political opportunism indeed it can't be ignored.
If you search the various entries that I have made on the subject of the absence of the reporting on "Street Pirate Slashings" in urban America and why they never rise to the level as the shooting in Arizona you will get a background picture of my argument. The bottom line remains: Rachael Maddow and other Progressive News Media sources do not harp upon the steady stream of blood that is rendered by the Urban/Gang/Drug Trade/Hip Hop Voice Of The Street Pirate wetland ecosystem because of the great racial and political "gotchas" that are contained.
As I looked at the summary listings of multiple shootings that Dr Maddow reviewed over the past 30 years I was heartened to know that her research staff indeed is paying attention to the bloodbath that is going on in America. My problem is with her willingness to get into specifics - bringing the necessary granularity to bring to life the data behind the 30,000 gun murders that take place in America. While Dr Maddow is comfortable in scouring the Southern States to point out their present state of educational attainment, health care standing and then correlate it to PUBLIC POLICY that is controlled by "conservative, right-wing governments" - you can be sure that when it comes to focusing her inquisitive eye upon the tale of the Urban Street Pirate her vision gets a bit blurry.
None of this is unintentional.
You see - long story short - there is nothing but potholes that will injure Dr Maddows standing if she doggedly pursued the issues of the lives lost at the hands of the "Urban Street Pirates".
The presence of the "Urban Street Pirates" that are terrorizing the communities that have the misfortune of being ensconced with them in close proximity speaks to "policy failures" just as is pointed out in the "Former Confederate States" that Dr Maddow and other Progressive-Fundamentalists love to report upon. If they were to follow the very same mantra they would eventually arrive at the point where they would have to go against their progressive establishment brothers who control the institutions of power within which these dysfunctional human beings ferment.
It is far more acceptable for the collection of these activists to blame the American system of capitalism, governances and residual racism for "permitting" this to happen. These "young men" have been so marginalized by society, they say, that they have now began to murder those who look like them. The HATRED is not "organic" but INDUCED.
It is critical that they avoid any notion that the Black community is capable of generating any ORGANIC dysfunction - produced by the ideological enforcements, policy preferences and FAILURE to perform sufficient "human resource management". This would cause some non-existent OVERLAY entity to inspect the value of the electoral success over the institutions that their movement has collected over the past 5 decades. This would demand that the "trophies of the struggle" be turned into demands for functional deliverance.
Since Dr Maddow's Black audience would prefer her to not risk labeling Black people as "criminals" - they can hear Rush Limbaugh do this per their weekly distillation heard from "Media Matters" - their is mutual agreement for her to remain silent on her indictment against "Street Pirate Gangs", their music and their Drug Trade and instead focus on their common enemy - the Right-Wing Conservative.
Ironically the same Black voices who decry the inattention paid to the "Missing Black Girl" proves that when it comes to news that would prove to be an indictment to the Black Establishment - silence and obfuscation is acceptable.
Simply put - this is a threat to their Progressive Agenda.
The Progressive Agenda is strongest when it:
- Denies its present Establishment Power
- Finds some higher Establishment Institution against which to perform their "outsider struggle"
To acknowledge that THEY are now the "Establishment" and thus are the ones who should be held accountable is akin to the Yippie who said "Trust No One Over 30" realizing that he is now 35 and subject to such sanction.
Narrative Shopping: Arizona Is Now A National Gun Control Problem
I am forced to give Dr Maddow credit above her other Progressive-Fundamentalist media peers. Minutes after the shootings they struck out against their political enemies - the Tea Party and Sarah Palin. In her wisdom Dr Maddow chose to go beyond the transactional indictment and make this a matter of GUN CONTROL.
Again we need to apply curiosity and ask why the various multiple shootings at the hands of "Street Pirates" were not a worthy cause to initiate her renewed activism in support of gun control?
When we hear reports of Black men being jailed in various "Stop And Frisk" cities on the east coast few media outlets bother to note that these interactions with Black males is an example of "Gun Control" in action. Those who previously agreed that "there were too many guns on the street" transition to the observation that "the search for guns are now the impetus for the police to conduct aggressive searches of Black males, accelerating their matriculation through the prison industrial complex".
A grand face saving move that is frequently conducted are the "gun buy back programs". As the logic goes - reduce the pervasiveness of guns in the community and those who are most prone to use violence to settle a conflict will be forced to find some less efficient tool. Unlike the actions of our White adversaries of the past in the South - the ecosystem which produces the consciousness which renders a large number of Black corpses is not ITSELF placed under the scope for inspection.
Again I ask - Why is it important that Dr Maddow "zoom nationally" with respect to her map on gun violence when she was so prone to highlight the "former Confederate States" when there was an indictment to be made against the government policies there which injured Black people?
To answer all of my questions throughout this posting - the answer is:
IF THERE IS NO POLITICAL OPPORTUNISM TO BE TRANSACTED BY USING A BLACK PERSON AS THE VICTIM - THE PROGRESSIVE-FUNDAMENTALIST DUTIFULLY AVOIDS THE ISSUE LEST THEIR FOCUS PROVE TO BE A SELF-INDICTMENT
