The State Of The Economic Dream. The Education That Will Foment Change For The Future

Graduate Student Analyzes "Martin Luther King Jr Blvds" Around The Nation

Please note that the "wealth gap" noted in the video is used as an INDICTMENT against the "racial equality" of America. Few people appear to note that in so many of these cities in question a "favorable political machine" is in place. They obtained the power in these local institutions largely for their promises to bring relief and fortune to these places.

At what point should we start to look at both the "establishment power" and the preferences for the rank & file as the resources that are assembled into an incorporated city are not synergized into a unit that is more economicly prosperious than its "piece parts"?

The Protests AGAINST Holding School On MLK Day

I can't get my arms around this one.
  • Upon entring this nation - it was made ILLEGAL to teach an enslaved African how to read
  • After our freedom was secured the virtual enslavement felt by the "Sharecroper" meant that Black children had to go to the cotton fields to tender the harvest, not setting foot in school until their job was done
  • The Jim Crow segregation that was being taken down triggered angry crowds protesting against the sight of Black children entering into a school house other than the one in their community

Today we have Charlotte Mecklenberg County.

When it comes to attendance of "Local Schools" the NAACP fears that "all Black schools" might harm the students in these classes.

After 5 days off from school due to snow and ice - some see a "slight" in the fact that schools were opened on "MLK Jr Day 2011".   They are the ones who gathered in front of the school houses to loudly protest.

MY have things changed yet stayed the same.

Shamefully some people attempt to make use of the "MLK Jr Holiday" as a proxy for one's support of Black people.

THIS BLACK MAN is watching the antics of those who ritually enforce the respect for "Portaits Upon The Wall" yet fail to develop the PEOPLE who are the vital resources in question.
