Questions That "The Root.com" Failed To Ask Julian Bond About "The Present State Of Black America"

The Root.com Talks To Julian Bond About The Present State Of Black America

Mr Davidson:

Do you mind sending Mr Bond a few more PENETRATING questions that get to the heart of the critical issues that our community faces?

1) Mr Bond - you have been a fixture in the "Black Political Machine" for several decades. Your son, a city council member in Atlanta has continued this tradition. Mr Bond - is it fair to say that the force that you are a part of is a part of the "Political ESTABLISHMENT" - directly in the cities where Black people live in our highest concentrations AND collaboratively via the Progressive affiliations that you have made either directly in the Democratic Party or indirectly via the Leadership Council On Civil Rights?

2) Assuming that you agree with your ESTABLISHMENT position - Can we conclude that this ESTABLISHMENT must take some accountability for the present state of affairs in the places where our people live? You all set up a QUI PRO QUO - "Vote for us as DEMOCRATS" and as a result we will implement POLICIES and as a result a certain amount of PROSPERITY will come to our community as a result.

3) The key point that I want to get to, Mr Bond is not mere FINGER POINTING. Instead I would like to talk to you about ORGANIZATIONAL STRUCTURE and the needed walls of separation between the "Black Community Interests" and the "Executives" that had us go down a POLITICAL channel as their chosen METHODOLOGY for community development. Just as Bayard Ruskin announced to the world as the outcome of that fateful meeting after King's assassination.

You see Mr Bond - EVERY corporation has a separation - INCLUDING the NAACP. There is a BOARD that sets policy and priorities. There are EXECUTIVES that carry it out. Mr Bond in regards to the BLACK COMMUNITY'S INTERESTS - you are among the guilty party that played MISCHIEF in the VOID that was created as our RIGHTS were secured and the community needed set out on an ORGANIC DEVELOPMENT TRACK - absent the threat of FIREBOMBS and TERROR that used to go UNPUNISHED.

Instead of building a TRANSPARENT "board" to monitor the proximity to our PERMANENT INTERESTS - you who had the IDEOLOGICAL CONFIDENCE and ADVANTAGE over the masses of Black people chose to FUSE THESE TOGETHER.

Now we have a situation where the "IDEOLOGICAL arm of our movement has WON" but in the places where they have most control WE HAVE LOST!!!

Who should stand accountable for the conditions in Flint Michigan or Frederick Douglass High in Baltimore?

Does the SILENCE of the indictments mean that all is well, Mr Bond OR THAT in their COMPLICITY the insider traders don't want to ruin the UNITY of their movement?

Just post Bond's answers right here Mr Davidson. I think that everyone would appreciate his response.
