“Take Back The Black Community Consciousness". It has been hijacked by embedded operatives who don't intend to develop the COMPETENCIES within. We once controlled this consciousness, focusing our activism directly upon our permanent interests. Today the "Malcolm X Political Football Game" has us as starters and some believe that this playing time translates into absolute progress for our people. My goal is to hold our permanent interests in their faces, forcing them to explain their actions.

Live Within Your Means Series: Dollar General To Open 625 Additional Stores

Dollar General - the discount variety store - announces that it will open 625 addition store, representing 6,000 new jobs.

With the old saying "its not what you make but what you keep in your wallet" I have tried to shop at "Dollar General", "Big Lots" and a "ghetto K-Mart" that is on my way to work after finding they have my favorite potato chips.

Dollar General has reasonably priced items that are far less than the premium items that are found in grocery stores or specialty stores.
With the noticeable increase in food prices that is occurring now it is best to have a strategy by which food purchases and gasoline are not blowing your budget.

If the very same times can be purchased for less - why pay the premium?

The next challenge is for Dollar General to stock their shelves with houseware that is not exclusively made in China.

The Use Of "Slave/Jim Crow Images" In Black Political Debate - Evaluate The Agenda

The use of "slave imagery" is common in ideological discourse among Black people today. The best way to appraise the veracity of the agenda of the presenter is to distinguish between those images which are used to cajole Black people into "Ideological Unity" versus those images used to bring consciousness to the sad fact that in far too many cases today - the man holding the gun is a Black man, his disturbed consciousness allowed to fester because the balance of our community organizers are focused on external political affairs. They sell us on the notion that when our people assist their political/ideological external partners in their success that these individuals who suffer from BENIGN NEGLECT will be cured - no longer terrorizing us. In the circular reference that is their struggle - the more damaged individuals that matriculate through the local institutions that they now control per their struggle, the louder their call for continued UNITY and redirection lest our community's long time external adversaries start terrorizing us again. They successfully avoid community scrutiny of their stewardship of our key "Human Resource Development" institutions.
