The Black Rank & File Should Collectively Tell Today's NAACP To "Kiss Our Butt" And Set Our Community Consciousness Free

I am in no way approving of the lack of civility displayed in the words of the governor of Maine. I am, however, moving past the latest transactional indictment and daring to inspect the underlying forces at play in this latest dust up, daring to analyze their agenda.

For the past 364 days of  the year there have been many events that have taken place in which those who claim to represent the defenders of the honor and consciousness of Rev Dr Martin Luther King Jr.

In my assessment the primary "no-show" at the vast majority of these events is the SPIRIT OF DR KING, this despite the rituals that transpired in his name.   The coffin that was so often symbolically rolled just below the podium, down off the stage was filled with foreign material so as to fool the pallbearers who carried the casket at the instruction of the speaker that the WEIGHT that they felt inside was that of Dr King and not some spiritual impostor.  The pallbearers had their confidence stroked by the words of the man at the podium who told the that through the "tinted skylight" upon the top of the casket they will observe the corpse of Dr King.  Had they bothered to OPEN UP THE CASKET, who's load they carry to its position on stage for the "Ideological Unity Enforcement" event - they would have noted the unlikelihood that King's corpse has transmuted into a pile of sandstone rocks, distributed proportionately through the casket where the head, torso and feet would ordinarily reside.   The carriers of Dr King's load were ill-advised as they were told to ignore the rattling sound that they heard as they shifted the make-shift box ever so slightly from side to side with each of their steps.  The claim that this was merely a phalanges that had broken off from the rest of the body and is now rolling around in the casket.

As the dust up that resulted from the exposed nerves seen in the state of Maine begin to propagate the discussion on "race relations in 2011" many Black operatives who take the podium will use the intemperate remarks of Governor Paul Lepage (R-ME) as evidence that "We have a long way before we reach the PROMISED LAND".

The greatest offense seen in this "Rev Dr Martin Luther King Day Weekend 2011" did not take place in the governors mansion in the state of Maine as a Republican White man told the organization who suggested that his failure to make room on his calendar to eat what they had cooked for him and listen to their rituals performed on stage as a quid pro quo.  Despite its more abundant media coverage this does not register on the list of prime offenses for our people, despite the insult registered by an organization that is a mere axillary to our core community interests.

Instead we need to look southward, past the complicit silence of other NAACP chapters who say little about the "State of the Dream" in New Haven, The Broxy, Philly and Prince Georges County Maryland.  The FBI investigations of PGC's resent murder spree against Black people will receive scant mention via the amplifier attached to the various microphones who's diaphragm will vibrate at the command of the speakers voice standing before it.  Him being able to talk about any subject that has sufficient gravity upon our people.

As we come down the Eastern Seaboard there is a situation with the NAACP chapter of North Carolina that proves to be far more insulting to the consciousness of equality held by Black people than anything that the words of a sitting governor could ever hope to do.   These words are not received through our EAR DRUMS nor read via the multiple reports seen on "The Root.com".   The words are received via IMPLICIT INFERENCE that one must deduce from the motion of those who have orchestrated it to be as such.

The though of the North Carolina NAACP is that the academic and cultural fortunes of Black children in Charlotte and Durham are too important to be left up to a class room that might be packed with 100% Black children.   Thought each of these little Black children are spoken for - with someone dear to them having invested no less than 7 years into their 1st grade bodies and consciousness - too great is our need for well balanced and thriving Black children to allow the group of them to experience the process of discovery of who they are with osmosis that is derived from OTHER BLACK CHILDREN in the room.

The NAACP of today an others who think like them seek to "expand the police tape" from the four walls and door that espouse the classroom and its contents of "equal human beings" - a teacher, teaching materials and a collection of children - and instead bring focus to their INTERPRETATION of the agenda behind the POLICIES which has the audacity to expect Black children who live in a certain COMMUNITY to attend the school most proximate to their residences.   The nerve of those "Tea Party White folks" on these two school boards in the former Confederate State of North Carolina to force Black kids into a modern day "slave ship" - the classroom consisting of THEMSELVES!!!

The "Fear Of A Black Classroom" is the implicit vote of no confidence against the parenting investment of the individual child, the collection of which defines the classroom of children.   If you notice the NAACP is not claiming that the "Tea Party School Board" proposes unequal FUNDING between schools Black and White, they are merely protesting the aggregation of - what did they say(?) - POOR BLACK CHILDREN into one room, wishing that other schools honor their obligation to receive their load of "Negro Inferiors".

You see - if you look at public housing policy of today the thought leaders have decided that "Never, never, never again" should the balance of a housing development be allowed to become that of the people with a "Poverty Consciousness".  I will withhold all of the labels (ie: "Welfare Cases") in that the original label suffices.  They reason that this prevailing consciousness becomes the "room temperature" of the school.  The modeling behind a given reference point that each student will have injected into his mind will PROPAGATE any effective academic processes and dysfunction with equal efficacy.

In short the NAACP of North Carolina knows that the most direct course to break the cycle that is seen in the poor Black communities that it fears will live yet another generation is to allow a choice few of these Black students to have the "benefit" of sitting next to a White kid and thus receive him in as a reference to his collection of inferences about the world.

As a person who dares to critically analyze the "dark matter" that accompanies a particular point of advocacy - I would be remiss if I did not point out that in taking this course of action the though leaders for our community, as represented by the NAACP have chosen not to take the collection of thoughts, actions and enforcements that are contained in these "Poor Black Communities" head on.   In doing so they skillfully place themselves in as "Broker Middle Men" in support of the "best interests" of these "Poor Black People" - expanding their opportunity - (again we can't say "educational opportunity" since this is present at their local schools'.  We must say "Opportunity to sit next to White folks" and the unsaid benefits that come with this since is the only distinction between the two categories of schools).    The NAACP does not need to battle AGAINST THE DYSFUNCTIONAL ACTIONS of the Black Community that is of a certain radius of the "school for the Black poor" in question.   Instead it is able to render an INDICTMENT against the SCHOOL BOARD for cutting the transport service and program into these other schools.   If there was ever an occasion for a well placed "Global Warming" argument where unnecessary burning of diesel fuel will doom our ecosystem - now is the time.  Where are you when we need you Van Jones?

The skillful avoidance of "stepping on toes" among "favored Blacks" within the walls of protection is a component of the "Ideological Unity Enforcement" that I speak of so frequently.   I suspect that on Monday January 17th we will have the "poor Blacks" of these effected areas in Mecklenberg County and Durham holding signs up showing great protestation against their enemies, never realizing that the enemy is encapsulated in the notion that they are inferior.

The Atlanta Chapter of the NAACP Honors The Late Senator Ted Kennedy

Please accept this labeling and associated description that is taken from this blog as my heart-felt opinions of the function of the late Senator Ted Kennedy.   This is not done for the purposes of being bombastic or to garner attention.

When I hear the words "The Least Of These" so commonly associated with all Black people - these words and the "Negro preacher" saying them all too frequently do so in reverence to Ted Kennedy and the destructive progressive-fundamentalism that he represented.   It is my firm belief that it was not his inherent "favor toward Black people" (I am NOT calling him a racist) that triggered his views.  Instead his ideology was that of providing protective cover for the "weak" and Black people were merely a value to be plugged into this variable.

As a student of history I am fully aware that INDEED history has not only 'dealt our people a hand' which put us in a weakened state - it also "cut the cards" and any appendages from the human body that dared challenge this system of White Supremacy, attempting to escape it.

My indictment against the purveyors of "The Least of These" is totally based on the clear evidence that they know not how to create a class of the "UN-LEAST OF THESE".  The type of policies that they enact are worse than the pattern of behavior that I saw exhibited in the squirrel that raided my neighbor's bird feeder today.  This is because at least the squirrel who grew dependent on the nutrition that the good graces that my neighbor had bestowed upon the fowl during winter-time had to at least climb up the tree and then show his skill at hanging upside down upon a tree branch, inspecting the wooden box only to see that his previous raids had clean out all traces of food.  Thus he moved on to the next feat of acrobatics that insured his sustenance.

Per the words of the Late Senator Ted Kennedy I can think of no initiative that he has ever sponsored which DIRECTLY fortified the competencies of Black people, needing to work together as a community in order to produce some ORGANIC benefit which resulted in our higher standing.

Please note the importance of the insertion of the qualifications:  directly, competencies, community and organic.   You see for some people these are not important.  They are the embodiment of the "give a man a fish", having cherry picked this passage from THEIR version of the bible which has been spoken to them from the pulpit, to compensate for the fact that so many individuals in the congregation were illiterate.

Oh wait - you take this as an "offense".  The truth is that the Black preaching style did indeed emanate from the fact IN THE PAST that the literacy rates had by the congregation was not sufficient enough to have them read along in the text as the preacher verbalized the words as part of his sermon.  My point in bringing this up along with the RITUALS of the late Senator Ted Kennedy and the "Civil Rights Pharisees" is that those practices done during a specific point in time need to be reappraised for their applicability today.

To be more clear - the integrity and transparency of these tactics which create and defend a "protected class" of people should be continued only as much as it is the case that the force of THREAT exceeds the clear DAMAGE to the consciousness for "Independent Function via Organic Competency Development" initiatives.  These initiatives derive from the perpetual "time and motion" that is seen expressed in the normal course of living and the "directed outcomes", therein to the community's function.

That squirrel that I referenced earlier is going to perform his acrobatics and scamper through any tree, along any wooden fence or do a high wire act on the stretch of transmission wire - all in the context of his "time and motion" that is his daily existence and his need to eat.    Take away various bird feeders or well intended human being that throws a measure of peanuts out the back door - this squirrel will continue to thrive by tapping into the natural resources that abound in its environment - his only threat being the occasional house cat or his lack of vision to be able to see that that clear way forward across the road has a car tire that will occupy that same space a split second after he decides to scurry forward.

The true test of the merit of Ted Kennedy's strategy for the protection of "The Least Of These" is to make note of their ability to use their God given talents after the incubation period that he has set up for them ends and they are asked to SOAR in the air as evidence NOT OF THEIR "HEALED STATE" after MOLESTATION - but in accordance with the God-given functions that are expressed in their accouterments provided to them as 'Equal Human Beings'.  

Pardon me for being a skeptic but I believe that certain forces prefer "A Unified Consciousness Of Black People", the index of our organic productivity and competencies being irrelevant - to a state of the Black community where despite our "standard of living" being lower than those who use the Ponzi Scheme of credit debt to sustain their present height - our standard is a direct consequence of our applied talents and efforts.

I don't believe that the NAACP is willing to look at the COST of the "Ted Kennedy Type Policies" upon our people.   If they did - they'd have to revisit some of their own theories.

The clandestine sentiment masked by the "Snarling Fox White Liberal" does not have to show hatred for your "racial form".  The fortification of a network of thoughts, which when followed, cause you to never seek to tap into your 'increase' proves far more damning to your interests.
