After listening to these two voices who took to the radio to communicate their vision of the issues facing the Black community and how to address them - I would pay money to listen to a debate of ideas between conservative Robert Woodson and progressive judicial advocate Michelle Alexander.
As a "Black Conservator" - listening to Mrs Alexander last week on NPR as she described the judicial conspiracy which is seeking to destroy the Black community was like fingernails upon a chalkboard. She redirected challenges to her theory back toward a grand system of "injustice" and denied resources. The first question that I would ask Mrs Alexander is to explain how even in the most PROGRESSIVE dominated cities which have a full sweep of "favorable people" in the key seats in the criminal justice system are the same outcomes obtained? Fulton County Jail, Cook County Jail and Wayne County Jail ALL have a majority of Black prison guards and Black prisoners all housed together in the municipal jail.
Conversely as I listened to Robert Woodson today as he talked about how INSTITUTIONS within the community are vital to our community's success it was like smelling the scent from a perfume candle per its alignment with my ideological disposition.
I would love to see a TRANSPARENTLY moderated debate between these two individuals of great intellect.
